A few days ago my friend hurt her foot. Now its all swollen and she can't walk! But her parents refuse to take her to the doctor, saying that she's blowing it all out of proportion. How do we get her parents to take her?
That can be very serious - and she needs medical attention. If you are not of driving age yet, see if your parents might take her to the emergency room. Right now, to help use the R.I.C.E. method (R=rest I=ice C=compression E=elevation ie: don't walk on it, put ice on it, along with an Ace Bandage wrap and keep it elevated) If you are in school already, and your friend goes to school, take her to the school nurse first thing in the morning. Good luck!
