No, you don't have to be rich to be popular (well, in my school that is.) It is mostly about the people they hang with,their confidence,if your cool and if you can get along with alot of people. Some of the popular kids in my school aren't rich at all and i live in a rich community. This girl in my school who is such a biatch to me and a lot of people she is popular because her best friends are popular and it is like a mini plastic group. She has a lot of problems because she is poor,not good looking at all,has a messed up family and can't afford the most fashionable clothes and borrows or even steals her friends clothes. She'll even steal anything from anyone like mirrors,jewelry and makeup. She always shows off that she wears MAC makeup and whenever she got a new eyeshadow she'll just keep braggin. And others they have really fake Louis Vuitton and Coach bags pretending that itz real. And then there is this guy in my school who isn't popular(considered a loser to some people) but then just rich and wears versace clothes each day. ♥ Peachgirly
