A bunch of my friends cut themselves..but for no reason..they just do it because they want attention and they want people to feel sorry for them. They always talk about how depressed they are and how much life sucks for them, and it's not true at all. Because one friend started to cut herself, the other friend started too as well, and now another one is on the verge of cutting herself. They all do it for attention and I'm positive of that, and they drive everyone crazy. I'd like to just not be friends with them anymore but I don't want to see them get hurt, and they won't listen to anyone when theyre told to stop. What should I do to make them realize how stupid they're being without actually giving them the attention that they're cutting themselves for? If they're given the attention they're cutitng themselves for, then they'll just do it again. If we all just ignore them, they could seriously hurt themselves.. please help. Thanks. (link)

well tell them how they need to stop because you know they are seeking attention. then research some stuff about cutters and tell them all the effects and permanent things they can do to themselves. if they dont stop after that them they definitly need to get some help. so if that doesnt work you need to tell on them and make them realize what it really means to have to go through the consequinces of cutting themselves. then they really wont be happy or allowed to do it anymore because there will be too many people checking their wrists. i know that right now it seems like that would be a bad thing to do as a friend but later in life they'll thank you. i know this is hard for you but you have to save these people. hope i helped!
