Q: Since the last time I was at the gyno my boyfriend and I had sex. I cant tell my doctor if I go back because she'll take tests for STD's and birth control, then my mom will know. Should I not tell the dr and get birth control from a friend or should I tell her and make up a reason for the birth control? I'm so scared my mom will find out, she'll kill me :-/ Thank you soo much for the advice!

Aside from going to Planned Parenthood (which is a good idea as far as the whole STD issue is concerned) You can tell your doctor that your periods are irregular, most OB/GYN's will prescribe birth control as a way to regulate your period and that is exactly how you can explain it to your mother. To help protect yourself further you should also always use a condom.
