My husband and I are adopting a cat today from the Humane Society. The cat is 4 years old, and has not been declawed. I feel it would be inhumane to do declaw her, but I am worried about her scratching my furniture, and me as well. Does anyone have any alternitives to declawing, or how to prevent her from scratching the furniture.
And any other tips for a new cat owner would be appriciated.
go to the vet and get them cliped or got by a scratching toy you can find them at pet sores or petsmart

I was wondering that lemon lemonade help your hiar high lighted in the sun. what if putting pink or starwberry? Alright, I got hired at 2 different places, and I have to pick 1. I want to take job #2 because I have never done it before. If it doesn't work out, I want to be able to fall back on job #1. But what can I tell job #1 so that I can have a week or 2 to try job #2? I don't want them to know I have another job. Hope this makes sense lol. Thanks!
personally, i would go with the job that has moer pay. Pick the one you want to do the most, and if its number 2 then try i t out and if that doesnt work just go back to number one,

You should find out why "it just cant be". It sounds like hes hiding something or using you. You should do some dirty work to find out or just ask him why it cant be.

Yes you should tell her how you feel! Tell her that there your own quotes and designs and she can make her own up too and you could help her. SHe might look up to you and want to be just like you so she copys your stuff.

Braces.....what a pain!! I remember when i first got my braces...they hurt for about a week. But the pain goes away. Take some pain reliver that should take it away for a couple of hours. Also try eat soft food like milkshakes and mash potatoes or jello and pudding those always yummy!

I bite my nails, it's a nervous habit (a bad one too). I think it's because my parents put a lot of pressure on me and my sisters (one of them also bites her nails). I like chewing on things, and nails are just convenient. I don't like gum, though- so I don't want to chew on that. I don't want to chew on food because I don't want to stuff myself because of a nervous habit. I hate carrots. How can I stop biting my nails? Sometimes I don't even realize what I'm doing and then my nail is gone!
Try putting hot sauce on them or spicy nail polish (you can find it in stores).

Some times I feel like my parents don't love me. My sibling always make fun of me. My family always says they wish I'd run away. I have tried to kill myself before. but my mom and my friend came into my room so I had to come out of the closet. I don't know if they noticed but I had a thin red line across my neck. Believe it or not your family probally does love you, and you should believe it. Parents will always love there children its just in there hearts and siblings well always make fun of the other siblings thats how life is. To get them to notice you more be nicer and work harder around the house.

my macaw is really big and she's not the nicest bird in the world..she wont let any one but my sister touch her...she's gettin used to me but she still goes after my fingers once in a while,

Well get an adult to look at your bite and if its real bad you should tell your mom. About the bird part pet her everyday and be around her alot, it should get use to you and trust and then you can play with it all the time =D

ok well here's what happened...i was dating this guy who ended up bein a total jerk and tried to get me to have sex with him so i dumped his ass and then i met this really nice guy who i liked alot but we didn't date and now for some reason he just wont talk to me or is all of the sudden completely uninterested in me and i dont know why. so i;'ve been talking to my ex boyfriend and we're thinkin abt gettin back together and i know he's worhtless but i want to anyways cuz i feel like if i sit around waiting for something better it's never going to come....i don't know what to do at all...anything anyone can say to help would be great...i rate. thanks!

Make a flyer by hand or the computer. Put it up at your mom's and dad's workplace, child daycare place (if they let you), it you have a local icecream or pizza place, try thinking of a place where parents would go.

Okay, Killing yourself is not the answer. Being 13 is hard and then having all theese things happen in your life is harder. But you shuldnt kill yourself cause that would bring more pain to other people. You need to tell your doctor or an adult that you know and can trust. Its probally going to be hard but you need to. Your depressed you need an Doctor's help to get over it.
You might think that a doctor cant help you or they will never help you. But your wrong! They help thousands of people each year to over come their depression and They can help you!
