Q: i cant stop bitting my nails and my mom wont let me get acurlic is there anthing that will make them grow ffaster or make me stop bitting thx bunches!

Most people's nails grow every time they shower, I don't know why, it's the water I guess. Eating gelatin makes them harder and healthier, too. Keep them clean and clip them when they get annoying. To stop chewing them, I totally know what you mean. I've been through several bad habits including but not limited to biting nails, cracking knuckles, chewing hair (eww). Mostly I just repeat to myself "Don't do it!" it in my mind, and it helps to occupy yourself with other things. Try a stress ball, or take up knitting maybe? It all depends on your will power. Q: What things make your face break out or makes you get pimples?

Stress, hormones, make-up. One time I let these cheeky little 12-year-olds put their makeup on me and I had the wrost breakout ever, so definitely don't use somebody elses cosmetics. Especially don't put lipstick on your cheeks and mascara on your lips, I think that's what did it more than anything else. Washing your face a lot and not touching your face (the oils go from your fingers to your face) are good ways to prevent breakouts. Use facial masques, exfoliating creams, bag balm (kills infections), KlearAction (or Pro Activ, they're the same thing), Biore strips (for blackheads) to prevent or get rid of acne. Hope I helped =)

Q: are men (guys) supposed to masterbate?

They're not really "supposed" to. It's not a law. But everybody has a sex drive, and masturbation is a good way to relieve sexual tension. It's better than letting the tension build up, or raping someone because you're so horny. It's good to know the way your own body works before you have sex with someone else, that way you know how it feels and you don't freak out. And guys have to have an erection to put on a condom, so if you want to have safe sex you need to masturbate before hand. Most people masturbate, those that don't are lying or they just don't know what they're missing.

Q: Me and my girlfriend are in a delema she is makeing a dission between me or another guy she says she is confused. and she says she loves me but my point of view is if she loves me as much as she says she does then i would this it would be no comp. I love her like no other. Im thinking she is playing both sides she wants me to be here if she picks the other guy and it goes wrong with them. my prob is what should i do if she picks him. I would hope she'd pick me though.

This is common. Girls just want what they don't have. All this wanting to be picked stuff...you're not an item! She's treating you like her property, which she shouldn't do. You may think you're in love with her, but you deserve much better than this. Tell her that she doesn't have to make the decision, if she's going to treat you like her pet then you want nothing to do with it. Stick to it, no matter how much she begs for you to take her back. so ive been babysitting jack and jill every other weekend. jill is really good and sweet but jack is not. now there mom wants me to watch them everyday in the summer. and i dont want to! im only 14 i have a life! but their mom is really pushy and in your face.

what should i do?

Tell her that you are busy with another job, or you are going on a trip for the summer. Or that you just can't do it because you want to have fun this summer, not work. You're too young for this sort of stress...summer is for fun =) If she's pushy, just be pushier. If you have to, get your parents to intervene and tell her that you simply can't do it. Q: I have seen my report card since 8th grade (I'm now in 11th). Ever since my sister started high school (she's a year older than me) she started throwing away both of our report cards because she doesn't want my parents to see them. My parents did notice at first and called the schools and everything and they schools told them that they don't know what's going on because they've been sending them. So, my parents kind of forgot about it. I didn't really care about it but now I do! I have no idea how I'm doing in school. I think I'm failing half my classes but I don't actually know. I have no idea what my GPA is either (we get it in about 3 weeks but I don't know what to expect). It's completely unfair that I don't get so see my report card because my sister doesn't want my parents to see hers. I've told her before to just throw hers away and not mine but she was like "No, then they'll figure it out." I've also tried asking her to at least just let me see it and then she can throw it away. She agreed at first but then "accidentally" threw it away. She already got into the college she wanted to get in and my parents are all proud of her and whatnot so I don't get it! What else should I do? And no, I won't tell my parents about it. Other than this, my sister and I are really close so I don't want to do that to her.

Um...O.O wow, that's messed up. If you have no idea how you're doing in school, ask your teachers. They'll usually show you your grade.Do you get in trouble for not showing them your report card? If so, then it doesn't matter what you want to do or not, your parents should be told about this. Your sister is horrible, defend yourself and don't let her touch your report card. It's your business, not hers.

Q: What do you do if you find yourself more and more each day, liking a guy who does not believe in God? I am a christian and I have my morals, standards and beliefs and he doesn't meet my number one standard which is believeing in God and having a relationship with him but, on the other hand, I am so drawn to him I can't help it.He's a really great guy but should we just stay friends and nothing more?

You must think that someone can only understand you if they share your religious beliefs, but that isn't true. There will probably be "Christians" that you go out with that don't understand you at all and have completely different morals. Not believing in God doesn't mean you don't have morals, trust me, I've been an atheist my entire life. If you like him, go for it. You may learn from him and come to understand why he doesn't believe in God. If you say you'll only go out with Christians, you're just closing yourself to all the wonderful oppurtunities that could be out there. You won't be giving up your own Christianity at all, and that person who said that you shouldn't associate with "non-believers"...psh. Jesus did. Good luck. =)

Q: ok i went to walmart ok.. well i went for blank CD's but i picked up DVD-r CD's instead!! is there anyway possible to burn music on a DVD disk?

I don't think so. As long as you didn't open it and kept the receipt, you can return them and get CDs instead.

Q: To all of you girls out there! Is it true that sometimes when you get your period your face can breakout?

Maybe. I usually break out when I'm very stressed, or if I use a ton of makeup (obviously). During your period, you would be very hormonal and often very stressed, so I'm sure it is possible to breakout. But probably not all the time, and some girls probably don't.

There is no difference they are two words for the same thing.

Q: I talked to my mother, and told her that my step-dad has no right to flunk me and all this other stuff, and she said she would think about letting me go on to highschool, isn't this bullshit? Q: okay well i was told the other day by another kid at school that i might have thyroid disease. he told me thats when u cant gain. lose weight. Well i weigh 95 pounds adn i was wondering if there really is a such thing as thyroid disease. and if so could somebody explain that to me??

Thyroid disease is real. There are two variations of it, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. Your thyroid is what produces hormones for your metabolism. Hyperthyroidism is when it produces too many hormones and you have a really fast metabolism. People who have that can eat all the time and not gain weight, but it is still really bad! The only cure for hyperthyroidism is having your thyroid taken out. The only problem with that is you will then have hypothyroidism. This is when you do not produce enough hormones, you have no energy, and you gain a lot of weight. There are pills for this, such as Synthroid and Armour that you need a perscription for. You know if you have thyroid disease from a simple blood test, but you should go to a few different doctors since whether or not you have it.

If you want more information, Mary Shomon has a book called "Living Well With Hypothyroidism", and there are many online resources. But be careful that you know what's true and what isn't.

Q: Hey my girlfriend broke up with me like 3 weeks ago but i still love her so much she came over my friends house last night with my friends X and we had like 30 ppl there and she knew all of them but she only talked to me i still love her with all my heart but i dont know what to do should i ask her back out??

She probably only talked to you because she didn't want to shun you completely. She most likely just wants to be friends, don't ruin that by asking her out.

Q: I have dated this girl before (I am bisexual, I am also female). She cheated on me once, but at least told me. Then I left her, and then about 4 months we went back out. Now we are on a break again. I am waiting 'till she gets her car, but the problem is.. I am not sure if I can COMPLETELY trust her. What do you all think?

If you love her, show her that by trusting her. Always give people second chances. If it becomes a repetitive thing, like she cheats on you and begs you take her back and then does it again, dump her. She's not good enough for you. =)

Q: This is a question about doing the laundry. I am not a real laundry-doer so i need some tips and help. HOW do i do the laundry. Heres what i know so far: seperate them into dark, lights, and white (the ones that i bleach). How much soap do I add?? Do i put the clothes in after all the water is filled up, and then put the soap in? Should i pour the soap in along with the running water thats going into the washer so it gets all bubbly? So, clothes, water, soap? Clothes, soap, water? The only dispenser i have on my washer is for the softener (which we dont use) and for the bleach (i use this one alot with the whites.) Someone tell me how to do the laundry please?! Thanks a bunch!

The cap of the soap container is a cup, and you should use one cup of soap. Some washing machines are different, but with mine, you put the clothes in, pour the soap in, shut the machine, and turn it on. I don't even bother with bleach, but I guess if that's the way it's done in your house. Don't worry about getting it bubbly, the machine does all of that. REMEMBER TO CHECK POCKETS! It seems like a lame thing to say, but trust me. I've lost paychecks, lipstick, and cell phones that were in my pockets.

Q: this is really weird but ..im always afraid to sign on aim because im afraid someone will say something really mean to me and ill get upset for weeks. I over analyze convos on AIM wayy too much and I think if someone says anything like hi instead of hey or um i think they hate me!! what do i do? I love talking on AIM but Ive had some bad experiences and now im paranoid!

I've been through that, when somebody was online pretending to be me I was very paranoid. You can make it friends only and block anyone who bugs you. Mostly, though, it's better to talk in person/on the phone if AIM really bothers you.

Q: Okay, I'm a pretty preppy girl. I have lots of friends, and we all are into fashion, and dressing our best. Anyway, I have a secret love, that's so far from fashion I'm afraid my friends will hate me for it. It's skateboarding. If your friends judge you because of that, then they're not your friends. If you are confident that they are your friends, you will find the strength to tell them. If they really do hate you for it, just say "This is who I am.", and continue to do it. They'll probably be really interested in it and want to watch you skateboard ;)

There are instructions on the box, but basically that's it. I'd masturbate before hand, just so that you know what it feels like to have something in your vagina, but yeah, it's not something that takes a whole lot of learning.
