My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.


My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

okay, so im currently in a long distance relationship and i think the guy is getting bored with the whole e-mailing/calling thing. do you think it would make things better if i take 2 months to answer his latest e-mail..so he can start missing me more, and then write him a really cute e-mail? Or should i just keep writing every week? and if i do, how can i spice things up, is there any rules for what you should/shouldn't do when writing an e.mail?

well i think waiting 2 monthes is def a bad idea! maybe try sending an email dvd. with a slide show or something of you. or maybe if you have some time go and see him! also what is cute are telegrams or send him a package and fill it with cute cards and notes

well i think its reasonable sorta. i mean your prob not going to find your true love at 13 but you should be aloud to just go out and chill with guys. if your parents wont let you i would recomend just hanging out with guys as friensd more and maybe they would allow you to date

i just got my period today (not my first) but anyways i have a 5-8 hour surgery on monday and ill be sleeping for like 2 days and i wont be able to walk right away. so what should i do?

i would recomend getting a very heavy duty pad to wear or maybe an adult diaper! if you tell the doctor i bet they have some kind of med. they can give you to either tep. ligthen your period or stop it. there is a chance because of the stress of your sergery the period will stop or slow down anyways

ok i have this dress and it fits like perfection but u can see my underwear though it..and if i wear like a g-string u can still see the lines..not really by my but but on the sides..does anyone no like anyway to fix this? thanks!! xoxo

ok well i run cross country and during the season i don't get my period. i don't get it because during the season i'm pushing my body really hard and i don't get it. well i know that i don't get it but i was wondering if an egg was still released or if it just stays in my ovaries. i think it might not get released but i'm not sure. this thing also happens to people who are annorexic. thanks in advance!

if you dont get your period it doesnt release. also you dont release an egg if you dont get any cramps during your period

i like to do it right after school so i dont have to worry about doing it later. i just blast some music get some food and get to work. eat while working or chewing gum helps your brain work (its a fact)

Hey im only a freshman, but i am so determined to go to college..i missed a week of school to have suregy, but i got right back on the work, and have an A in science an A in band and were gonna get our "progress reports" for algebra today, im hoping its an A. If not ill have to raise it.
But october 14th (next firday) we get term report cards. I REALLY want a 4.0 because i would really like to go to a good university..but im wondering can your jr high school grades affect your college resume in any way? I always got like a 3.0..and i even failed algebra in 8th grade..im hoping thats not gonna bring me down. Please help me, i searched colleges online and i dont really see anyone that checks jr high gpa.

they dont look at your junior high grades at all. sometimes they dont even really care about your freshman grades. you grades you get as a junior are the ones that could and you can get as low as a 3.8 and still get into a big school with a scolarship because your report card isnt everything

uhh well i wear one that is way bigger than my size. the size of them doesnt matter just look how big it looks compared to you. like i wear a 3 in jeans and have to wear a med or large thong. if you are worried it might be to tight try bigger ones first and go from there

Hey! I'm in my first year of college, and I'm having trouble. It's honestly hard for me to pay attention in class. All teachers do is lecture, lecture, lecture, give a test, and repeat it all over again. I TRY to pay attention and take good notes, but it's never good enough. I've failed half of my tests so far. And since I have 4 more tests coming up within the next 3 weeks, I'm really nervous about those too. You HAVE to do good on tests, because really, that's all your grade is. A bunch of tests.

Does any one have any good study tips for college? It's also hard because they don't give study guides like they did in high school, so I never know what material to study. I really don't know if college is for me. The way I passed high school with As and Bs was..I'd do all the work given, do bad on the tests, and it'd average out to a B. I'm not used to studying. I try, but it doesn't work. Any advice? Thanks.

well i think the best ways to study are how we studied back in elementary school with flashcards, games and rhymes although it sounds silly ive found it works best for me because i remeber how silly it was. i go to a college style highschool and we do basically the same thing there. i have my sister repeat things over and over to me till i finally get it. also maybe you have a slight learning disability. we learned about it in school. even honors kids can have then and doctors can help you find ways that help you study best.

alright well im having surgery on monday of next week (the 11th)and i was supposed to get my period last thursday. but i havent yet. and its a surgery where ill be in the hospital for 2 weeks and stuff and i dont want to be on my period during the surgery cuz its like a 7 hour surgery and stuff so what should i do? thanks

Im getting my hair highlited a little at a salon and i was wondering how much it is and how long it takes to get highlited? also will the highlites stay in? thanks i raste high.

i would say most places cost around $50 i would recomend doing them yourself thats what i do. and they are permadent and last about a year until your hair grows out. depending on the color you get it may fade but blonde usually does not

Hi. I'm not on a diet, but whenever I talk to friends who follow a 'healthier diet' than myself, they always, always mention fruit smoothies as a great big help. And they mean it as in home made smoothies. They mention something about a blender fruits, milk and no sugar but I have nooo idea how to make them. Does anyone know how to? And are you supposed to add sugar?

And the evil question: does chocolate cause facial skin irritation?

ok well there was something in seventeen magazine saying smoothies arent as healthy as you think they are. i think you have to add sugar or it would taste weird but then it makes it super unhealthy. i would recomend seeing if you can find that article online because it tells you how to make a healthy smoothie

I have curly & frizzy hair; I use a straightening iron to smooth out the frizz but it still seems a tad frizzy. Is there a smoothing product anyone can suggest that can be used with a straightening iron? Or something after that I can use to smooth it out?
