I must correct the person below me on a few points:
1. Blow-drying hair straight DOES damage hair as irons do. My suggestion is to use Sunsilk Hydra TLC (available at Target) which will hydrate your hair. You know those commercials where the girl attacks her hair with irons are blowdryers? Like that.
2. Trimming will not make your hair grow faster. It only will make the broken hair less damaging to your hair as a whole. Only massaging the scalp and vitamin supplements can actually make hair grow faster.

And for the dyeing of your hair:
-Have your hair dyed professionally with a quality dye that is close to your original color, then let it grow out while following step two (above) so you will have natural hair back.

No, no it doesn't. All Mane 'n Tail does is make your hair healthy so it doesn't break and split off. I never heard that it causes split ends, but I do hear that it causes some people's hair to become oily, therefore it should be alternated with regular shampoo. It actually works best on horses, believe it or not. Makes their manes and tails all thick and shiny.

Everytime you try to blowdry it straight, or use a straightener, you are just making it worse and worse. I suggest you deep-condition your hair once a month (try Redken All Soft Heavy Cream, it works really well). Just follow the directions on the bottle. I also suggest that you STOP using any irons for a while, and then once the Redken has healed your hair, use Sunsilk Hydra TLC (http://www.gethairapy.com/products/detail.php?product=hydra_tlc). Make sure that when you buy your foundation to get the right shade. Too light a shade will give you that raccoon-eyes look, and too dark will just look blotchy. Try to get a souffle sort of mix foundation (looks sort of whipped). Dab it with a sponge in contour lines across your face (one line across your cheek bones and nose, another across your chin, etc.), then blend it with a brush.
