People don't like it or notice the effects of every other day use. It thickens your hair, it's full of protein and it makes your hair extremely healthy.. since it was made for actual horses. you can see and feel the difference in a month. if you already have split ends, get it cut. the conditioner is great too. it doesn't make your hair grow exactly. nothing does! it just makes it a lot more healthy so it could grow. if you use that.. get a vitamin bottle called biotin. my hair was damaged and up to my chin last year.. and by the next year.. my hair was to my shoulders... it doesn't give you split ends, just ...your hair is a lot healthier and it grows a bit more each month. :] [ queenhearts's advice column | Ask queenhearts A Question ]

missbananafontana answered Sunday December 9 2007, 4:38 pm: No, no it doesn't. All Mane 'n Tail does is make your hair healthy so it doesn't break and split off. I never heard that it causes split ends, but I do hear that it causes some people's hair to become oily, therefore it should be alternated with regular shampoo. It actually works best on horses, believe it or not. Makes their manes and tails all thick and shiny. [ missbananafontana's advice column | Ask missbananafontana A Question ]
