Hi I am christian, and I have a friend who is jewish. I want to get her a "holiday" present, but I am not sure what to call it, or if she would think it was rude. I am also not sure when i should give it to her. I don't know when haunaka is. What do you think?

Um...the last night of Chanukkah was last night...sorry. Just give her the gift and write on the card "Happy Holidays!" I have a bunch of Jewish friends and they are totally cool about it. No worries ;)

okay hi its me again. Well i think it was peer pressure 2 but i have been talkign to her thro emails an stuff and she just gets madder. I have asked her why all the sudden this just happened i mean the day before we had ben best friends! But yea i guess i jsu have to get over it huh.

What do you think is the best way to figure out if a guy likes you? Lets say....you think there is a pretty high chance he does....so what do you think?

well, the only true way to find out is to tell him you like him and see what he says. Or get a friend to ask. or just flirt with him a lot and see what he does. If he flirts back then yea, there is a very good chance he likes you ;) Hope I helped :)

my knees hurt like no other mother. they've been hurting like alll week. i'm in x-country and i'm like always about the 8th perosn to get back but like after i'm done running my knees get lke shacky and like i have to bend to stand. my coaches just say it's growing pains. what should i do b/c i don't know if they are or not. i put ice on them and took tyenol but it didn't help so please help me. i'll rate you

The same happened to me when i was that age. My back hurt like a...ah! And i thought i was totally dying. But it was just growing pains and i got it in my arms and legs too. So no worries. It will last for awhile, but it should stop in a few monthes or maybe even a year. If it doesnt stop by then, then you should probably ask your doctor.

Hi sweetie, im an actress and i get like that all the time. Here's what i do...take your nervousness and focus it into energy, then use that energy. and i know what you are thinking...easier said than done, right? Well, if you can't do that then just Take several deep breaths and focus on how hard you worked and how much you diserve to do well on it. Well, i got these cute little bucket things from target for $1 then filled them with candy. It was a cheap, but at the same time somewhat thoughtful gift. Target is awesome for stuff like that. Check it out.

Yea, it is definetly peer pressure from your old friend. You need to go face to face with your friend and say "hey, what happened to you? We used to be really tight and then you just dump me off? what is that about?" If you need anymore help please feel free to ask. ok, my question is...heres the story...i met this guy who i really like and who likes me and hes always working and whenever i call him his grandma always says hes not there even when he tells me hes going to be there and i think shes either lieing or he just doesnt wanna talk to me and i dont know what to do or what to think...hes a great guy but i mean it upsets me that i cant talk to him and i dont know how to handle this..i called him tonight and his grandma said that he wasnt there and i asked if i could call back and she said we're all about to go to bed...and then i said well can i call back in 10 mins to check and see if hes there and she said yes and then when i called back no one answered...i dont know what to do so if anyone has any ideas for me please let me know!!...Thanks

Dont call to much. Then his grandma might get pretty POed. So just go up to him during school and say "hey i tried to call you a few times when you said you would be home and your grandma said you werent there. Maybe if you want to talk could you call me since i can never call at the right time?" Something like that. Just try not to be persistant. Hope everything works out and i hope i helped :)

I recently lost my best friend ever... for the stupidest reason... well she didnt tell the whoel reason someone else did but she doesnt know that i know. She acts as if i messed it up but it was really all a set up... to drop me like a can of beans. She was only my friend beause she pittied me. But it just doesnt seem right. I mean we had just had the best time ever shopping. And then bam its all over. I dont know if it was peer pressure or if he really did jsut plan on dropping me. No worries. Your friend should be happy for you. Instead of throwing a pity party for herself. Tell her that she can get a bf and that she should go for the guys. But if she says "no no..." just be like well you can get a guy but if you dont want one then i guess that makes sense, right? It will kind of confuse her and make her realize, oh i can get a guy i just choose not to. Plus if she isnt happy for you then thats just silly. If my friend got a bf, i would be bouncing off the walls for them, in fact i did that recently. Lol, but thats because im a dork like that. Anyways, but my advice to you is just to confront her about the fact that she can get a guy. Im SURE you guys are good enough frineds to be able to talk about anything. Yea, totally ask him out!!! Just go up to him and say "Hey, do you wanna hang out or go to the movies sometime with me? I like you and I'd really like to get to know you better and spend more time with you." Something along those lines. And if you don't want to say some of that stuff then take it out. how do i get music on my xanga site?! i cant seem to figure out how to put in on there!!! HELP!

Ok, first login to you site. Then go to "look an feel" and go to the bottom. and somewhere down there it should say something like "Music URL." Then open up another internet explorer but leave the look and feel up too. There are several sites you can go to to get the URLs. Here are a few:

Or go to Music Media.

what's the best way to whiten teeth?
my pearly whites could use a little lightening and i'd like to know what you all find to be the best way so that i can have my teeth in ship-shape in no time, thanks!

1. Brush your teeth daily and floss. If y dont floss it gets all yellow in between your teeth. Not so pretty. Blah.
2. They have one or two week white stripes. They also have whitening gel. Its in a little bottle and it has a little brush thingy and you put some on before you go to bed, wait 2 minutes then spit. And wah la (well, you have to use it for a week, but i used it and it works pretty well)
3. If you arent up for 2 or cant afford it, then there is one last resort. Baking Soda. Put some on your tooth brush and scrub away. Yes, it tastes like crap but it actually works really well!

I've had this crush on this girl for quite some time. It's gotten to the point where I'll buy stuff I don't really need, nor do I really want, just to talk to her. She always seems happy to see me and always gives me a big hug before I leave. The problem is I have no idea how old she is. I'm not the type of guy who judges people who date younger or older people, but it seems to worry my when I'm involved. I'm 20, what if she's only 15 or 16. She looks and kind of acts young, so I'm worried. What do you think the dating age limit should be for someone like myself?

The other problem. Earlier today, I saw scars and cuts on her rist. It doesn't look like something an accident would have caused. I know she can't really die from cuts on arm, but the scars aren't exactly good for her either. How should I go about asking her where they're from? Is it even my business to ask such a question? What if she obviously lies to me about the scars origins? Should I just drop it then or what?

Ok...question number one. I'd say the age limit for you would be 17. Sorry, but it should be 18 BUT 17 is on the border so its ok. And if you really want to find out her age introduce a friend to her and have him/her ask how old she is that way it doesnt seme like you are unsure.

Ok...question number 2. Just simply ask her when you see the scars again "woa, that looks painful...what happened? I used to have a cat that scratched me up really badly." Just play along with it or something. Make it seem like a casual comvo. Hope I helped and good luck!

Just try to act like you normally do. If you want her to know that you like her then just tell her. But if you dont want to be straight forward about it then just be a little flirty with her and see how she reacts. But if you do tell her straight forward before she responds tell her that if she doesnt feel the same then you dont want to ruin the relationship that you had before.
