Hiya, my names Claire. I'm 16 and I live in England. I live with my dad, my older brother and my younger sister. I have a pretty complicated family situation, so although yours may not be the same, I can probably replate to something of the confusion and hurt people with broken families feel.I'm a Christian, and I guess that is reflected in most of my responses to questions. Compared to some people, I've had a pretty good 16 years of life so far, not huge amounts to complain about. But there have been times when I've really needed to rely on God to pull me through and he's never EVER failed me. I trust his promises completely, and I depend on Christ with all my heart
advice
im bored . what are some things i can do
there is like nothing to do around my house. its spring break and my friends cant do anything and idk what to do
sry stupid question lol.
-Find all the junk you can in your house and make something cool out of it. If it seems pointless, do it for someone else, like as a birthday present or something.
-Work out a money making scheme. They never work, but it keeps you occupied for hours.
-Make plans to change the world. You'll be surprised at what you come up with.
-Start up some project for your family/friends/community/school. Think of something that will benefit other people in some way, and then you have the motivation to get off your bum and do something!
Boredness is usually a symptom of laziness. Well it is for me anyway!

alright so me and some friends are going to the movies tonight. and the guy i really like is going. the problem is that when im around a guy i like im really shy and dont know what to say. he knows i like him cause my friend told him and he says he thinks im cute. so how do i make conversation with him to let him know that i am definantly interested in him.

Think of some interesting stuff that anyone could talk about, something happening on the news or school or whatever. Find out what kind of stuff he's in to, and chat about it for a while, no matter how dull it is! And if you don't know anything about the subject, ask questions, he'll think you're great!

Last night I found out a bunch of my best guy friends smoke, drink, and do weed. I broke down cause you never really think it'll happen to you. Me and some of my other friends want them to get help, before its too late. What could we do; ( Annonymously if possible ) ?
If you care about them and are genuinely concerned, show them that without it seeming like you're critisising. Maybe you could do a bit of research, find some good informative websites and write an anonomous letter to one of them, with the websites on it, and jsut tell them that you're concerned and would be willing to help if they want it. After that theres not much more you can do...

i definitely know trampolines can be dangerous. But i want one so badly that i've been beging my parents for like 2 years. they still say i'll think about it but then when they do they say no, its dangerous. but i did some research and most of the injuries from trampolines are falling of them, but if you get a GOOOD Safety net, that will solve that problem. and the other injuries are mostly falling on the side where the springs are or landing improperly from doing stunts and stuff. the side has padding on most trampolines and trust me i'm too afraid to do those flips and stuff. how can i convince my parents that i will be extra safe and cautious with a trampoline?
I had exactly the same problem, and although I'm still not allowed a trampoline because our garden isn't big enough, I managed to persuade my parents by finding out about trampolining lessons near me. A lot of sports and leisure centres and also universities run lessons or courses which are with properly qualified instructors. Maybe your parents will feel more comfortable with that, and once they see you learn how to trampoine safely, they'll be happy for you to have your own?
