I know what you mean... I'm a very very shy person.. I have a hard time calling guys.. and even keeping a conversation going with a guy.. and I'm 17... thats hard to believe. But if you dont think that you can call him yourself... Have a cousin your close to like around your age call him and have him call you.. Its usually easier to talk to a guy if he calls you. It's like that for me anyway. I'm fine once we have a conversation going. and if that happens just ask him if he would like to go to a movie sometime. Yes They do... Just because your on birth control doesnt mean that you still cant get pregnant or even catch some kind of disease.. Be care ful.. and always always make sure he keeps it wrapped up...

okay i like this guy and he likes me. well the other day he asked me out and i said yes but 2 days after, were already broken up ! he said he needs to get to know me better and i totally agree no hard feelings there but what i dont get is why cant we get to know each other by going out? i asked him why he asked me out and then broke up but he said "i jus dont think i really know u well enough" or does he not want to go out and thats why he said that, but like after that hes like i still like u but i jus wanna get to know u better maybe wen school starts. and the day after i seen him at the movies and i waved and smiled--so did he and i knew i liked him alot. do you think we eventually will go back out ? or do you think he jus doesnt like me even though he said he did .. Sweetie.. I was in the same situation. In school last year I met this guy. and we started talking and stuff.. and he asked me out... well like the next day we broke up because we didnt know each other well enough. and I asked him the same thing you did. Why we couldnt get to know each other by going out. I still continued to talk to him. and yesterday I hung out with him.. and he told me he really really liked me.. and that he always has and now we are together. I'm sure that if he didnt like you. He would tell you he didnt like you.and if he didnt like you he wouldnt of asked you out. So just get to know him better.. and let things go from there..

okay.. there is this guy who ive known for about two years.. and we have always just been friends.. and yea... so i asked him to ride the bus home with me today so that i wont be all alone and he did.. and when we were on there... he asked me.. I was kind of in the same situation with my boyfriend now Tony. He always joked around with me and asked me out when he didnt really want to be with me. but one day he asked me out.. and I did the same thing you did. I laughed and said no.. I felt really bad afterward because he was upset with me. But when I talked to him I just told him that i thought he was kidding with me because he had done that alot to me before. and if you guys joke around alot together. tell him that.. He will understand. If you want to be with him. You need to tell him before its too late. and if you dont want to be with him. Tell him why you dont want to be with him..

I'm kinda going through the same thing. except my parents are over protective they are just.. i'm not sure.lol. But. for the boyfriend thing. I am dating someone my mom cant stand.. she really hates him. and I'm not sure why. but he wants my mom to know about us and accept it.. and I dont want to tell her because I know she will try and break us up.. So I think you should tell your boyfriend how your parents are.. and how you think they will react.. thats the only advice i can give you. because your young. and you pretty much have no other options. either keep the boyfriend a secret. or tell your parents and face what they are going to say. Yea.. I think that is extremely weird. What does a 16 yr old possibly have that a 24 yr old can want... or cant find in someone his own age.. sorry to be bagging on your friend. I hope this guy and your friend know.. that if they are being sexual together and anyone finds out.. he can be arrested for rape.. so... I would tell your friend that.. and I dont think there is anything you can really do to make her change her mind on this. but the best way i can think is to be honest with your friend and tell her how you feel.. I went through the same thing you are going through. I had his name all over everything of mine and then one day he called and told me it was over and when i asked why.. he said he didnt know... to this day.. I still dont know why we broke up. We were together for 2 years off and on. and that was the hardest thing I have ever went through. Its been almost a year since we broke up and I still love him as much as I did the day i met him and still think about him all the time. I dont think there is anyway to truely get over someone who you loved so much. There will always be some memories of him carried with you forever I guess you can say. But.. There are other guys out there. You just need to go out and give other ones a chance.. You never know.. you may find someone worth giving a chance.. And maybe one day your ex boyfriend will realize what he lost and come back.... I hope this helped..

Well Sweetie..You really need to tell your mom. She will be upset at first any mom will be. But she will eventually understand. But you have options. but you really need to tell her because you need check-ups and so on to make sure the baby is ok. But If you dont tell your mom and she hears it around town or from someone else she will be even more upset with you then if you just told her yourself. Go somewhere private with her and tell her. I hope this helped a little.
When I found out i was pregnant I had a really hard telling my mom because i didnt want to her to think she couldnt trust me. but she was very upset with me at first. but she eventually realized that there was nothing she could do and now shes the best grandma in the world..

There is really no easy way to break up with anyone. but the best way is to tell him that you will always love him and you care about him but that you just arent in love with him anymore. That the connection you guys had has drifted apart.and that you dont want to lead him on anymore. Just tell him how you feel.. It will be the easiest way to go.No matter what way you tell him he is going to be hurt because hes in love with you.. I hope this helped..

i've been extreamly scared about starting highschool. there is this guy that i work with as a camp counselor named jerry and he's going to be a senior next year. i asked him what it was like when he was a freshman and he started telling me the worst storries about how the seniors would like beat up the freshman if they got in their way and how the senior girls would beat up the freshman girls in the bathroom if they were smoking and you started caughing because of the smoke. now i'm about 5484341654687987631068405498765013515679876164168498316549879865132168798456 times more scared about starting!!!!! and jerry is a nice guy and everything and i even asked my best friend john about it (he's a junior) and he told me basically the same thing!! do you think it might be better this year?? what can i do do calm myself down!? i'm also really scared about missing classes because my highschool is HUGE! Highschool is not that bad.. Here in New York the seniors are nothing like that. Most of them understand that the freshman are new to the school and need time to figure things out and usually most of them will help you out. So dont stress it. hope I helped

I broke up wit my boyfriend and I still love him to death.. And i cant stop but I broke up wit him cuz of parental reasons ** He's 15 and im 13 ** Now all i do is think of him... But what makes me feel worse is that he was cring the whole day :-( i dont know what to do.. That's kind of the last relationship i was in.. My parents really didnt like him. But.. If you really love this kid as much as you say you do. and he loves you. Then what I would do is see him "secretly" That's really the only option you have because unfortunetly we are still minors..

Your mom said that it was fine that her boyfriend molested you!? That is not right at all.. you need to tell someone! I dont care who.. The police anyone.. that is rape. and that is wrong... God damn.. People today. But.. I'm sure therapy would help.. Here in NY they have these Abuse/rape like hot line or groups that you can join where other people are going through the same thing as you. You should check around and see if your town or state has anything like that. I'm sure that would help out a great deal to be with other people how understand what your going through...

I read that book a couple years ago.. and I had trouble with his character... now all my teachers are telling us to go to.. www.pinkmonkey.com and type in the info and stuff.. and it gives you a discription of what you need.. I'm not sure how well it works because I've never used it.. When it comes to reading for school.. I kinda just skip around the book.. hehe... Well... Hope this helps..

Well. I'm not a person that likes change... but.. If you have friends.. and stuff at your old school.. I would stay with your old school.. Only because in this new school you may not fit in as well.. and then you may regret going to this new school..I hope this helped :(

ok well there has been a lot of things going on and i've gotten really depressed. im on medicine for it but it doesnt seem to be working anymore. its like the 5th kind of pill that i've tryed. im always crying and thinking about the bad things but i can't help it. i used to be able to write about it in my poems but now i just kinda can't. i really need help and i dont know what to do. i dont want to cry myself to sleep everynight.

Oh boy.. this is tough. I dont want to give you any wrong advice. and I've never been in your situation so I don't know what your going through. But the best thing i can say is maybe going to see a shrink and talking with them. Its easier to tell a person you dont know and prolly wont see again things. and their job is to help you through all the rough stuff in your life. and for your medicine.. you should talk to your doctor and tell him/her that you dont think the medicine is helping anymore.. and they will try something new... thats the only advice I have for you... I hope this helps..
