I have a type of cancer that not many people have survived from. The doctor says I have about 5 months to live. I was wondering if what I should do to tell all my friends. I also have this crush of like forever, should I tell him about my illness. I don't know what to do and I am very lost in it all. Could you please help me find a way to tell everyone before I go. I may live to my doctor can't tell so I want to give them that hope too.

ooh... wow... the doctor is not always right... my great aunt, they said she had only 6 months 2 live, & its been years since then & shes better, so sometimes there wrong...
but incase there not, tell your friends, & tell your crush, do them all in person, I know that it breaks there hearts, but thats the only way things can work, just tell them in person... & your crush, no matter if they know you or not, just tell them... they'd understand... but tell them theres hope, cos no matter what theres a ray of hope... even in ur darkest houer of life, there is a small light shining... I know its hard 2 exept, but there is, tell them there is hope but incase any thing gose wrong, they'll know

that is a very inspiering thing, Sarah McLachlan wrote a song about that, she saw a woman whos husband was dieing of cancer on a documentery, & she wrote the song "Hold On" after it, it is a very inspiering thing, you should listen to her music, & most of all that song, singingfish.com or its on her CDs (Afterglow Live, Fumbling Towards Estacy, Mirrorball, & the Hold On Single) its a great song & I really hope you like it

well, the only thing I can say that you can do is just suck it up & ask him out... I know its tough, I feel the exact same way, way to shy, alls you can really do is just face it & know that if you don't, then 1) you'll never know what could have been & 2) your just going to remember this & every time your just going to back down
& nothing will happen unless he dose something, but you have to just do it
in a way this reminds me of the song, "I Will Remember You", cos its about being afraid to commit & how you are looking back at a life full of pain & failed relashion-ships

well, the only thing you can do is tell him the truth, I mean, if he really likes you, then he'd understand & want it that way, he'd want you to be happy,, but who knows, your friends might be wrong, or if there not, he just might not even ask you out, who knows, just tell him the truth & be sweet about it

i am going out with this guy, who's had a past of not being "loyal" to his girlfriends, and i have a best friend who is a really big flirt and likes him :-(. alot of my friends say that he said he really likes me, and learned and wont ever cheat on me...

I am a 15 year old girl going into high school next year and is highly over weight. I don't know what to do. It is really depressing and I don't have to many friends because of it. Do you have any advice on what I can do to help with my over weight problem I am about 250 pounds. I just don't know what I can do to fix the problem. Will you please help me find a solution to my problem. Tell my how some of your friends might be dealing with there problem if they are over wieght or if you have any friends that are over wieght that I can talk to for advice that would be great. awww, people can be so mean... well, you can go on an extreem diet & only eat like salads & drink only water & exersize as much as possibul, but if you want a profeshianl diet plan I would use Dr. Phil's, its apperntly very affective & works really well, so try & go on a diet & exersize alot & u'll loose weaight

I have this guy-friend that I've hung out with since 5 grade (I'm in 9) and he is really smart and nice and funny, but not all that cute. I really like him (like, I want to date him and such) and I think he likes me because he always comes over to talk and comments on my outfit or my latest quilt design, and today at lunch my friend Tai said he was staring at me, but he might just be acting that way because we're friends. well, you could try telling him that hes annoing & maby he could change, just confront him & be really nice about it & be calm & sweet, you don't want to upset him or make things worse, just try & talk to him about it & he might change, & if all esle fails, & i reallt don't want you to do this, but if you have to & every thing else you try dosen't work, then just ignore him & move on, he'll evenchully understand, just avoid him & just ignore him, but things would go alot better if you confronted him & were very calm & maby he would understand, just be nice & he should understand

Ok here is my problem I have this friend and she is so mean. She talks about us behind our backs and stuff,we have told her about it and she still does it. No one likes her anymore in our group either. But the problem is, is that she still thinks these two people worship her. Ahh I am so confused on what to do. She won't leave us alon and is being a real brat about the whole situation and stuff. We have all tried to find something to do but it won't work. well, you could try & talk to her & maby get her to change, & just try & help her, & if that dosen't work maby just avoiding her & just moving on with your lives & she'll eventully get the picture, I have afew freinds who seem to do this also, but 1 of them only goes alonge with the things her friend says cos shes known that person longer & is really close to her, & the other 1, I'm going to a diffent high school than her & so I don't have to deal with her much longer, but I'm not 100% shure of eather of these, so alls I know to do is try & talk with her about it & maby she'll change, & if that fails, the only thing I would know to do, & I hate saying that you should do this, but only as a last resort, is to jsut ignore her & just leave her be, & then she'll evenchully get the picture

there was a girl(I never knew her, she left our school befor I came in 7th grade)and so this year(I'm in 8th & she was a Sophmore in Hight School)she killed herself cos a rumor was going around that her boyfriend was about to break-up with her, & she was a really popular girl who was friends with alot of the cheerleaders at my school, & I'm really good friends with some of them & I just felt so bad that a popular girl like her would do that...
well, the only thing you can say is for her not to kill herself, & just talk to her, & she'll find someone else & things will be ok, just talk with her & thats all you can do

yeah... my sister is the same way... & the guy shes with has a child with another lady & hes living with someone else & to top it off, hes as old as our dad! hes like 46 or 45 & shes 26(I'm 14 & our dad is 48)!!! so yeah, its a big mess, alls you can do is try to talk to her, my sister... you can't do that to, so sometimes you just have to wait untill they finally get it through there heads that the guy is just not right, so just try & talk with her, & if that dosen't work, your just gonna have to wait

I normally listen to Sarah McLachlan, & shes VERY depressing, but theres afew I would recomend, Push(about her husband), I Will Remember You(very good, not exactly the romanitc kind your looking at, but it may work), & Angel(very butifull & depressing, but most people who hear it fall in love with it, I have to say, that would be my fav. song) & then Last Dance(no words but has a very butifull tune that you can easly dance to)

just kiss him when ya'll are alone at your house or the movies, he'll get the picture, or you could try flirting with him & doing all you can to make him like you, & then he'll ask you out! & you already have the relation-ship, its really easy to like your best friend thats an opposite sex, jsut be carefull, just don't loose your friend ship if you break up!

I get alot of abuse like that @ school, & my life is in a really bad spot right now & I'm trying 2 pull myself back togeather... but if hes abusive then theres nothing else that you can do than break up with him, but do not do it in person, you don't want to angar him or make him upset to the point where he might hurt you, & if he threatans you, then call the police & @ the LEAST get a restraning order! just be carefull!

My bf is at uni. Hes nearly finished his first yr. This uni is about 2hr drive away from me.
We used to call EACHOTHER everyday but didnt talk for long. We were both happy in our situation. He then started saying that I called him nearly every 2min, but I didnt. I backed off anyway. I think he said it because he had his own friends and he always hung out with them.
But now he doesnt hang out with them as much. I don't know why. I dont think he told me everything. Anyway now when I call him up we talk for like 2 hrs coz he has nothing else to do. But its wearing me out coz I have other stuff to do. I go to bed late coz we talk for ages and Im always tired at college. I understand he's bored and has nothing to do. I dont want him to be bored. I enjoy talking to him but its getting too much. Ive tried telling him to hang out with them again but he says he has nothing in common with them. I don't get so much work done anymore. Im behind with deadlines.

well, have you tried confronting him? it works, or you could always have a friend tell him, taht works well too! I go through that kind of stuff alot too, I'm kind of a dorky guy who gets made fun of alot & when I like a girl I'm always really shy so its hard, but you can have a friend tell him, & who knows? maby he likes you too, it happens! so, alls you can do is try, & hope for the best!!!
