the man (well, guy) of my dreams
I have this guy-friend that I've hung out with since 5 grade (I'm in 9) and he is really smart and nice and funny, but not all that cute. I really like him (like, I want to date him and such) and I think he likes me because he always comes over to talk and comments on my outfit or my latest quilt design, and today at lunch my friend Tai said he was staring at me, but he might just be acting that way because we're friends. Does he like me like I like him or not? I'd like some input from guys on this one.

I personally think it's his way of flirting! Guys are weird like that...they find kinda weird ways to flirt...especially in young teen ages! And if you like him, and with the way he's acting I'm sure yall like each other but are a little scared to tell each other. Talk to him about it. Not his flirting but you liking him and if he likes u in the same way! Hope I hepled!

I am a girl, but to me I think he likes you. I think this way because 1. he stares at you (or so your friend says) and 2. he compliments what you are wearing and such. Sure, your friend would do that stuff, but do you think your friend would be caught staring at you? Maybe you should tell him you like him or ask him if he likes you!

he wants you badly, but doesn't have the nerve to ask, his looks might be a factor in that. why don't you play a little hard to get and bait him a little, get ultra flirty and try to pull it out of him.

Ok, I'm a chick so this might be totallly wrong. But talk to him, about how you feel and everything. Ask him about dating and relationships If he likes you, he might just be too shy and thinks you don't like him. Give it a try.. all you have to lose is your fear.
