My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.


My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

is it true tampons make your cherry pop? and does it mean you're not a not a virgin anymore?

it most girls i doesnt make your cherry pop but there is a small handful that prob does.. mainly really young girls using them because 1 they dont know what they are doing and 2 they tampon is kinda big for them but as long as you are old enought to be on this site then it shouldnt make yours pop. and you are still a virgin because being a virgin has nothing to you with your cherry popping.. some people can go their first few times having sex and it still wont pop.. it just depends on the person

i am really pale. i'm 15 and i can't drive yet, so i can't drive myself over to the tanning places, and my mom never wants me to tan. i've tried the mystic tan stuff before but it looks too orange on me. is there any kind of products that will make me look like i have a natural tan and that actually work?

well ive used estee lauder self tanner and its pretty good! its like $40 but it is def. worth it.

ok i am doing P.E this term and in 3 weeks i have to go swimmin. even when i am on my period. thing is i know that if i wear a tampon it wouldnt matter right? but see my problem is that my mom wont let me. she told me because it will make my cherry pop and it isnt supposed to pop until i am merried.(or so she says) but if i dont dress out and put an effort into swimmin then my grade will go done everyday by a letter grade. so basically (since we got 3 wekks of p.e) it can be possible that get an F and fail P.E completely.. and another thign at my school is that the guys swim wit the girls. there isnt a speration thing.. someone help me.. i dont about sneakin them bc i dont know hoa to use them..

okay well first of all it doesnt pop your cherry and if your mom rights a note to the gym teacher they shouldnt fail you.. that happened to me. we have 18 weeks of swimming 3 days a week and there were a few girls in my class that werent aloud to wear tampons and the teacher let them go because their parents wrote notes. also maybe you can borrow tampons from a friend of if your period isnt too bad just go without.. i mean ive had to do it before.. its gross i know but you gotta do what you gotta do.

me and my friend want to paitn our nails but we need like cute websites with designes we can put on our nails that are like easy for us to do (like homemade not stickers or for acrilic air brush) just things we can easily do like polka dots or w.e we need websites please help i rate high

well if you go to the discovery store (or try the discovery store online) they sell a book that has nail designs that all you need is paint and like toothpicks to do the designs and they have some really cute ideas. also maybe try on google nail designs then go to the image part!

If I'm a female in my 20's, have never been sexually active, and don't plan to start for a while (just not interested right now and too many other things going on in my life), and haven't had any problems with my health or menstruation, do I need to see a ob-gyn? I'm busy with graduate school, so I'd like to just put it off, but I'm hearing more and more women my age talk about their ob-gyn appointments. I'm confused about whether ob-gyn care is necessary for women who aren't sexually active and have never been. I made a resolution to take care of my health this year and get to a physician for a physical, along with other doctor's appointments, but I don't know if a ob-gyn visit should also be on my list.

well you are suposed to start going at 18 no matter what and i think it would benefit you. even if you think your fine you really have no idea. and they can tell you what your risks are for certain cancers and stuff and how to prevent them.. i would say go. its better to be safe tha sorry

i think it looks good with any hair color.. it really just depends on your featurs and stuff. if you have any facial peircings i think it might look overdone but if you just have like your ears peirced chances are it would look good

I'm a sophomore in high school...and I'm really..scared. I don't know what to do with my life!..I don't even know the college process..how do I apply? How do I apply for financial assistance? What's a major/minor? I don't know which classes to pick when I get to college..I don't know what I want to be when I grow up..Can someone help me figure all of this college stuff out? just take 1 step at a time. im in the same grade as you and i found it good to work with school counselers.. they really know alot about this kinda thing.. your main goal this year is to figure out really what you want do it and look into colleges. you dont have to and shouldnt take your sats till next year or even start applying till them. for now just look into schools you want and on their websites they will have all the info for you. and talk to your conseler about waht you want to be and what kind of help you need and im sure they can help you. also see what your parents have to say and any relatives that are a few years older than you and are very familiar with what to do

My best friend just got kicked off our school's cheer squad cause she failed math. This came as a complete surprise b/c the coach approved her when she showed the coach her report card. The principle informed my coach failing a class wasn't allowed if you play a sport so my coach told my friend to turn in her uniform she was off the squad. My coach said she ran into the bathroom and cried and refused to come out. ( She was also supposed to come home with me and spend the night after the game )

I feel horrible right now; me and her were such good friends on the squad and we dont have any classes together. I called her after the games I cheered at today but brother said she wasn't home. I personally don't know what to say to her; I'm bad at this sorta stuff. We have to wear our uniforms on game days and I'm afraid that will make her feel really bad to see us in uniform. What should I do? Please Please guys, I really need help.

volunteer to help her! maybe if she can bring up her grade really fast she can be back on the squad.. i mean i know if you miss like a practice you really fall behind but if she can boost her grade fast maybe she can come back. spend like your free time helping her and talk to your coach about it and say maybe like if by the end of the month if she has a high D can she be back on the squad and i promise by the end of the grading period i can get her up 2 a c or something like that. im sure your coach doesnt like it more than she does and you can work something out. maybe talk to her about getting a tutor or something and try to help her as much as you can and tell her that she can do and she can get back on the squad

16/f My dad won't let me get my license until I turn 17. I don't think this is fair. I've been driving (with a learners permit) for a year now. I'm like the perfect daughter, and I make mostly A's in school. I've never gotten in any serious trouble. And I really need my license because my parents hate driving me everywhere, and so I'm always stuck at home and I feel so..restrained? I don't know if thats the right word. But it's been really depressing me, seeing as ALL my friends are or have gotten their license when they turn(ed) 16. But I'm the only one who won't be getting mine. I cry all the time when I think about it, I want my license soo badly. How can I talk my dad into letting me get my license? I need some good, real answers. Thanks.

first i think you need to sit him down and find out exactly why he wont let you. he must have a good reason. you can really talk to him about getting it if you dont know a good reason why he wont let you have it. maybe hes afraid of you being out there alone without a year of expirience. or he knows someone who died in a car accident when they were 16. sit him down and tell him that you think you do deserve it and you really want to know why you can have it.. just dont scream at him.. sit and talk calmly to show your maturity. if you dont have a job maybe get one and even if your grades are good try bringing them up even higher.. it will really show him that you want this.. and maybe help him out more and remeber hes not doing it to make your live horrible. hes protecting you. trust me.. my parents wont let me get my license yet either and i just try to accept it because if i complain i know ill just have to wait longer

ok so...i'm going to get my hair done for a school dance. and i want to just get it put up in a simple up-do...but i want to make it a little less plain. I was wondering if there is any thing that you know of to buy that i can put in my hair...like something like a flower...but not. Just to spice it up a little.

well for my aunts wedding my mom went out to a craft store and bought my sister these flowers to put in here hair. they were like twisty tie flowers and she just twisted them into her hair and they looked cute. also you can go to like clairs and they sell like rinestones that you can twist into your hair like either around where the ponytail or whatever part is getting pulled up or you of you get your hair like partial cornorowned or the mini twisted you can put it at the end of those. if you dont get what im saying i can try to get you a picture.

also maybe get some glitter hairspray to jazz up your hair

well i heard that the club cali club ended at the begining of the year.. ive been a member of it for a while and i believe on the website it says it isnt accepting new memebers anyway so you cant sign up. well to answer your question

what you do is buy stuff and each dollar counts as a point. and once you get to like 400 points you can get a $25 gift card. i know like 950 points is a band t-shirt and so on. you can go online to redeam your points whenever you want(if the program still exsists) and thats about it. they tell you that they send you coupons after 500 points but really they dont because i had over 1000 points as of dec 31 when i hurried and redeamed all my points.

edit:: you asked i told you.. it does make you fat that is right from my doctors mouth.. she spends atleast a good 20 years studying it. once you are done growing you dont need the vitamins from the fruit as much so alls it is is sugar and fat to you!


yes, really if your still growing its helpful but my doctor said im not aloud anymore fruit because it contains too much sugar, which in return makes you fat

Do people hear their own singing voices accurately? Like if you listen to yourself while you sing, is what you hear at all like what everyone else hears? I recorded myself with a $40 recorder---it was muffled and awful and didn't sound a bit like when I hear myself when I sing

i think to a point you do.. like i dont think i do but when i record it and sing with the recording i sound exactly the same. i think you hear what you sound like but really you dont judge it accurately.

if you aply for a school in the us they are big on like finding new people from other countries and diversity.. it really depends on where exactly you want to go but most offer finicial aid but you would have to find out from the exact school. it all really depends and it would be kinda hard for someone to tell you on here

I have a problem with bad breath. I've suffered from it since I've been a child. It's so embarrasing. When I'm at work I ALWAYS have to chew on minty flavored gum because I don't want to scare away customers.
What happens when I run out of gum? I have to make a speach tonight at my toastmasters club. Does anyone have any home rememedies of how to cure bad breath? And please don't tell me to brush my teeth and tongue and floss, because that nevr works.

i know at dollar stores they sell like mint drops that really help bad breath.. maybe try listerine strips too they tend to be long lasting or maybe talk to your dentist.. im sure they could help. ive heard of people that have like gum problems with bad breath

i think its mainy because people get annoyed with how mormoms are.. like not the mormoms themselves but the fact that they go door to door and it almost seems like they are trying harash you.. no affence or anything but ive had mormoms come to my house and i know you have to do it with your religion and all but if they see that you are home they stay there ringing the door bell till you answer the door and it kinda gets to me. like some guy was at my house for an hour until he finnally went away. at my school i think there is only 1 morman and no one makes fun of him or trash talks to him but that is my only explination

you upload the picture you want at photobucket.com and use the TAG code and post it where every you want it on myspace. when you preview it it may not show up put once you submit it it will. and you will prob have to resize it which you can do easily on photobucket. (you must have a valid email to make a photobucket acount they check)
