what is an easy way to organize clothing? i'm interested in buying new storage to put my clothing in. i have a ton. some i like to hang, some fold. i just have too much and can never put it all away or find what i want! 16/f
I'm actually really really anal about my closet.
I have to have all the same exact hangers, and a couple of times I actaully had to buy all new hangers because I only needed a few more, but I couldn't find the ones I had before. But everything is meticulously put away. If it wasn't, I wouldn't be able to find anything. I have a big walk-in closet though, so this may not work for you.
I have my closet divided by tops, sweatshirts, jeans, jackets all hanging up, then I have those hanging shelves things where I keep my shorts and sweatpants, and my t-shirts like from school and stuff.
For my tops, I sort everything by color. It goes black, grey, white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, tan. Then within each color set it goes spaghetti straps, thick tank tops, short sleeves, 3/4 sleeves, long sleeves, sweaters. Then after all my tops I have my sweatshirts from like sports and school and misc. stuff that we had teamwear for. And they are sorted by when I got them. Then I have my jeans. First I sort them by wash. Then within the washes by length. Then I have my jackets/ dressy tops that I never wear. Then in my hanging shelves thing I have my shorts and stuff and all my t-shirts that I pretty much just use for working out and sleeping in.
It seems like a lot written out...and it was a lot of work when I was first setting it up. But now it's just a little extra time to sort things out when I do laundry. It's well worth it to me to know exactly where everything is when I need to find it. I hope I helped somewhat.
But those hanging shelf things, I don't know what their called but you can get them at like target or walmart or something. And they come in cute colors too mine are pink. They're really helpful. I know they have other stuff too like that like they have hanging shoe racks and other things. I would go check them out because you could find something you really need and they aren't that expensive.
Does anyone know what that game is for dogs that involves agility, obstacles, and a pedal tat the dog steps on to flip a ball into the air? It would be really helpful if I just knew the name of that game.
My Miniature Pinscher and Border Collie both participate in this game. It's called Flyball.
It's an agility type relay race.
You have two courses set up next to each other, one for each relay team.
Each team consists of four dogs. One is always a "height dog". They want this dog to be as small as possible because the height of the hurdles is set four inches below the withers of the height dog.
In the race, the dogs go one by one, they have to jump the four hurdles places 10 feet apart, then at the end is a loaded spring box that releases a tennis ball into the dogs mouth when stepped on. Then they carry the ball back over the four hurdles, and after that dog clears the last hurdle, the next dog goes, and so forth, until all four dogs have finished. The first team with all four dogs finished wins.
There's technicalities as stuff as to what counts and what doesnt, but basically those are the rules. Google it for more information.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like you're eyes are like hazel or light brown. I think that carmel colored highlights would look really good. Blonde would probably end up washing out your face.
I think either carmel colored or light brown highlights. And I think chunky ones would look better than thinner streaks. Or you could try carmel and light brown together.
If you don't know if you'll like it or not, I know they have temporary color glazes that you can test out a certain color. That might be the best option if you're unsure.

Honestly, I really don't think that any teenage guy is going to make the connection between a picture that says daydreamin about him and a flirty mood, and add that up into "she likes me, I better ask her out." I hate to break it to you, but odds are, he's not even going to notice that it's there. You need to be forward about your feelings. It may make you nervous but you have to find out how he feels somehow.
Like I said before, I think that less hinting and more direct is better.
I think you need to be flirtatious while you're talking to him directly. If you dont want to be too obvious, just try guiding the conversation towards you guys as a pair.
Do you have his cell number? If you do you could text him and say something like "So I was just thinkin about you...what's up?" That way he knows you want to talk to him and that you clearly like him. I mean you could try that in a message on myspace but it would probably work out better in texting.
And you didn't say whether you WANT to hang out with him or not. If you do, then you have to go for it. I know you said that you usually let guys make that move, but TRUST ME. Guys LOVE it when you take the pressure off them and just ask them out. You can be as casual about it as you want, but be forwarned, if you're too casual about it, he may think that you just invited him to be nice.
I used a cotton swab pad thing with nail polish remover to take my nail polish off. Once I was done, I threw it away in my trash can. Then a few hours later my dog went over when I wasn't looking and took the cotton thing out of my trash can and started chewing on it...
Is this bad? Like, the remover was 100% completely dry and had been sitting in the trash can for at least an hour. Is it harmful to him even though it was dry?
He'll probably be okay. My dogs have ingested some stuff that I thought for sure would make them sick, so I ended up taking them into the vet and ended up paying a $125 emergency visit fee each time for nothing.
They usually just keep them in and observe them for a few hours until they are sure that it's had enough time to pass through the digestive system.
I would watch him for the next couple hours and even the next couple days. Watch out if he starts vomiting, coughing, or dragging his bum on the floor. These could all be signs that there's something wrong. Also look at his eyes and if there's any weird discharge. If any of these things are present I would call your vet immediately. It may end up being fine but better safe than sorry.

I think you need to say something. You don't necessarily have to outright say "I like you. Let's go out." but you need to let him know you like him somehow.
And believe me, the less subtle, the better. Guys can be pretty thick headed about this kinda stuff. You need to make it obvious that you're flirting, or he may miss it.
And if you're nervous about asking him out, just make it casual. Hang out with some friends and invite him along. That way, there's less pressure on both of you, and if he cant make it, at least you can still have a good time.
And about finding out how he feels about you, you could either use the classic of asking a friend to ask him for you or just guide the conversation towards that topic.
ok so ive never used a tampon before... ive had my period for 5 years, ive just always used pads. my mom said they were uncomfortable and a pain so i never cared to use them, and we live in an area where its cold most of the year, so swimming was rarely a problem.
buuut i have a pool party tmrw & i have my period. i practiced putting them in today & after an enlightening conversation with mother dearest ["hey mom, wheres my vag?" yeah, that was amusing] i actually got it in. but it wouldnt go in all the way, there was still about 25% of the thick part hanging out. the more i tried to push it in [ not hard ] it hurt... it was almost like i could feel it thru my butt.
any suggestions? & can i still go swimming with that much hanging out?
this is the 5th day, not TOO much blood coming out.
& if it makes a difference, im a complete virgin so im pretty sure that layer of skin in there is still together.

My friend used to have this same problem with tampons so she always used pads instead.
She said that they were uncomfortable because of the same reason, when she put them in, the thick part was still out.
It was because she wasnt putting them in right.
When you put in the applicator (plastic applicators are much easier, just in case you were using cardboard ones) you have to make sure that before you push the tampon out of the applicator, that the spot where you hold the applicator on is all the way to your vagina.
Like, hold it on the part where you hold it (the applicator), then, after sticking it in, your fingers should be touching the outside of your vagina. At this point you shouldn't have pushed the tampon out of the applicator.
Then, when you go to push the tampon out of the applicator, you have to make sure that you leave the applicator where its at while you are pushing the tampon out. So keep the applicator where its at all the way inside your vag, and push the tampon out while keeping the applicator there. Then, when the tampon is completely out of the applicator, you can pull out the applicator.
Right now, you're probably just pushing the tampon out of the applicator at the same time you're pulling out the applicator, so the tampon is just taking the applicator's place and thus being too close to the opening of your vagina.
The tampon itself (I mean the thick part of it) should be PAST where the applicator is when you stick the applicator in.

The way I see it, there's two possibilities to why you're still bleeding.
Either, you had sex for the second and third time shortly after having sex for the first time. And you reopened the spot where your hymen broke the first time.
OR the second and/or third times were just a little rougher than the first time, and you just broke it further than it was already broken.

Really, most grads just want money. Or, haha. This is bad, but for my best friends grad party, our crowd is kind of into partying, so we got her a half gallon of jager. So..if he's into that stuff and you have someone to buy it for you, then that could work too.

Spandex is a type of fabric. It's used for a lot of athletic purposes because it's form fitting and it breathes well. Volleyball shorts are made from spandex. And you can buy them at any sporting goods store that sells volleyball equipment.
when people say that something is "overated" what do they mean by that???
They mean that the something in question doesn't live up to the hype that proceeds it.

My style of names is pretty much in that genre for boys too. I really like Brayden, its actually on my favorite boys names list.
I've never heard Laken before, but I like it. It's a unisex name though, so no matter how you spell it, its not going to become a girls name.
Other people have covered the spellings issue, but I like Aiden spelled Aaden, personally. Aiden reminds me of Band-Aids. Haha.

I don't know how much getting done costs, but the at home wax kits from nair work pretty good and are inexpensive.
And yes, nair does work. I wax every other week and use nair in between to keep everything smooth, and it works well.
okay so i hang out with alot of my friends and whenver i go out with them and we meet guys the guys always like one of them, but its never me. i get alot of compliments from people saying im pretty and i honestly think im pretty, not drop dead gorgeous, but pretty. why isn't anyone interested in me? its just so boring because i wanna be the "hard to get" one but my friends are all over the guys and flirty and stuff, thats not how i am but i still want guys to be interested in me , what do do? :(
It's just because when you're with them and you're trying to play hard to get, while they're being flirtatious, it makes you seem untouchable. Like maybe they think you're reserved because you have a boyfriend already.
I've had the same problem as you for a long time, but it was because I felt weird flirting with guys while my friends were right there. But I just learned to get over it and flirt a little more. and guys notice me now, too.
So I'm not suggesting you change your personality or anything, but I definately think that to fix this problem it's going to take a little bit of proactivity on your part. Be a little flirtatious at times. Guys are pretty stupid in that, if it doesn't look like you're interested in them, they go for the nearest girl willing to give them the time of day. So flirt! That's my advice, I hope it works out for you. :)
I took the first morning after pill at 2 pm (the day after having a condom break), I was supposed to take the second pill 12 hours later but i didn't wake up until 4am and took it then. My question is do you think that'll make much of a difference in it's effectiveness? I mean it can't completely fail just because you were 2 hours late on the second pill right?

as you guys know , the end of the school year is coming up this week. I will be going to high school.
ANyway... there are these two guys that i like. Sam and Tyler. Tyler has been flirting a lot but has not asked me out. Sam is my friend and he hasn't asked me out either. Oh well. The problem is is that every day on teh bus... Sam sits next seat over and one up so we are diagonal. We will talk a lot intill his friends come on. But when his friend gets on he keeps on looking at me,,,i cant describe it but he looks at me as if he is seeing what i am doing,,, or asking for my approval on what they are talking about.
What should I do?
The school is almost over and I cant stand thinking abotu not seeing them for another 3 months.
Go sit next to him on the bus next time and say "So I noticed that when I sit back there I don't get to talk with you enough" or something so he knows you want to talk to him.
And about the summer. Get his cell number. If he doesn't have a cell phone, get his home number, or find out where he lives. Or talk to him on myspace or something. Just keep in touch and subtly (or sometimes not so subtly, guys can be pretty thick skulled) let him know you like him. Obviously he likes you too, he's just not sure how to respond to you.

You could try playing the jealously card. Invite him and a bunch of friends (including cute male friends) over and when he's there, flirt with the other guys. He might see that you're doing it and not like you flirtly with somebody else.
Plus, even if he doesn't say anything to you about it, you're flirting with some other guy, which you may realize you like in the process.

Let me tell you, like 3 years ago, I had a crush on some guy, I never told him and he moved. A boy in my class who I have never really talked to named doug had asked me to jr. prom and I said sure because he is a cute kid and I felt bad. His friend Peter took one of my friends. Now Peter has been telling people he likes me and I dont know whether to give him a second chance or how to get rid of him without ruining my relationship with his friends. A little help?
I've been in this situation so many times. A guy likes me, I don't really like him, but I like his friends so I keep talking to him, which sends him the wrong message.
Honestly, I think that this is one of those things, that we can't tell you what to do. This particular decision needs to come from you and only you.
Really, the way I see it, you're options are either: Try to give him a chance and if it doesn't work out, risk your relationship with his friends OR Tell him you're not interested, and risk your relationship with his friends.
Either way you're at jeopardy of losing other relationships. So my opinion is: find the nicest way possible to let him know that you're just not interested. Maybe you could try setting him up with another girl? Ultimately, it comes down to whether or not you're willing to give this kid a chance, but either way you need to be nice because you want to stay friends with his friends.
what are some very early signs of pregnany, like 2 weeks in? i'm due for my period any day and i'm really freaking out. i know i need to just wait it out but im so scared and i cant get a test. the only pregnancy symptoms i have is sore breats and constipation. but i did have unprotected sex when i was ovulating. (he never came though) help. :(
If he didn't cum, you can't get pregnant, for one. And secondly, you need to suck it up and go get a pregnancy test. I don't want that to sound mean or anything, but if you are pregnant, you need to know now so you can start planning on what you're gonna do. And simply saying "I have the early symptons that the advicentators said mean pregnancy" isn't sufficient grounds for you to say you're pregnant. Please go get yourself a test.
