i'm just telling you now, you should be extremly careful when you say you love someone. Usually you end up hurting them because you didn't really love them. If you want to get back with your old boyfriend, then you should definetly tell him how you feel and ask him how he feels about you. The best way to meet other guys is to get to know them through some of your friends. They most likely have other guy friends in school you don't know. Get to know 'em, maybe you'll like 'em.

I stumbled across this site by accident. I seriously doubt many of you have the qualifications to give real people proper advice. After reading some of your responses to people's inquiries i was quite astonished as to how teenagers find they are able to give quality advice and information to real people in need with such little life experience. If you ask me you are not in a place to give your "personal opinion" when people truly believe you are giving them the right answer simply because you claim "people think i give really good advice". (eg. i am still at a loss as to how a 17 year old girl thinks she can give advice to someone regarding conceiving a child) I know you try to come across as a "godsend" to poeple who are in some sort of personal crisis and need a fast easy answer but the truth is, in the cases where it really counts, there rarely is one; at least not from you.

what exactly are your qualifications? When your insulting somebody, you need to back-up your comment. Some advice-givers know more things about boy problems than others, others know more about fashion or makeup, others know about parenting better, some know cars better, and some know more about sex. Why only have opinions from your friends when you can get it from thousands of people who know alot about these topics. People can do what they want, and if they choose to seek advice from peers, they may do so.

I know i have already talked on here about how my step mom picked out clothes for me at church. She won't let me where what i want to and she makes me where her grandmothers clothes. I already told her i didnt like it and she said that was the style and i should get used to it. Everytime i get excited about something, i always remember that i have to wear her grandma's clothes that i dont like and it makes me unhappy. I get really excited about something and then i think of that and it makes me sad. I know they are just clothes but 70% of your clothes is confidence and if you don't have that, you have 30% of something. Since I go to Church every Sunday like a devoted Catholic/Christian, I know what the "trend" is. Usually I wear a long sleeved button down collar shirt and nice pants or a nice skirt with polished shoes. You need to dress nice and appropiate for Church, not school clothes or clothes you would wear if you were going to a party. Church is a place of worship and you must show respect in everything, including your appearence(sp?). You should come down to an agreement with your step mom. Show her what you would rather wear and tell her that you are an adult that can make her own desicions. Tell her you appreciate her help and that she cares, but you'd rather wear something you feel more comftorable with.

you really need to be more clear about your question. Because i can't understand it, i'll give you an alternative. You can go to Macys and they'll do it for free if you ask. Okay, so I've had my period for almost 2 years but I've only had it maybe a handful of times. I understand that that's completely normal. My question is - I started my period Wednesday and it's been REALLY heavy. Like heavier than it has ever been before. So heavy that I change my pad 3-4 times just during school. Usually I put one on in the morning and I can make it until lunch and then until I get home. But lately it's been taking me 6-7 just to get through an entire day. When I use the bathroom the entire toilet bowl water turns completely red and this is also the first time that I can tell when I'm bleeding.

So I was just wondering, has anyone ever had such a heavy period, is it normal to get it this heavy, could it be because I've gone so long without it (I haven't had my period since late July) or do you think there's something wrong about it being this heavy? Today is my 3rd day into it and it's still this heavy. Normally my period lasts about 5-7 days, but by the 3rd, it gets much lighter and by the 5 and on (if it goes longer) it's so light where one pad will last throughout an entire day and I only change when I go to bed and wake up. I'm so used to having a light period (or at least it only being this heavy the first day that I feel as if something is wrong. So any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

i think it is very normal to get a heavy flow after not having your period for 4 months. The thing that is not normal is that the time in between your period was 4 months. My friend gets her period every couple months so she went to the doctor, and she told her that she might not be able to have children.I strongly recommend you go see your doctor.

put yourself in his shoes. you need "to tell him that i like him as a friend and nothing more", otherwise you'd kind of be playing a game with his feelings. Don't get his hopes up and tell him now before he only likes you more and more. the advice you could have thought up yourself is the best advice.

Last Thursday (Dec 7) I ordered a present from a website with the regular 7-13 day delievery.

On Monday (Dec 11) I recieved an email from them saying that gift was out of stock and they canceled the whole order.

Later that same day, I got another email saying they confused the item with another one; the item I had ordered wasn't really out of stock, they just got confused and thought it was. In the email, it said I'd have to completely re-order the present if I still wanted it (in which I do).

Whenever I went to the site to order it, I get a message saying "We cannot calculate shipping costs on site. Fax order to us". I sent them an email telling them "I am highly unsatisfied with your service. I was expecting to get this by Christmas without getting the express shipping. Now whenever I try to order the present, it says that the shipping cannot be calculated. What an inconvience."

My question is, would it be right for me to ask them to pay for my express shipping since it is their screw up?

Personally, I feel it appropiate for you to ask them. If they want to continue getting customers, they should pay it. I also applaud you on your matureness of the situation; in the email you sent to them and on here. If they reject your question, then tell them why you believe you deserve it unless you started with that first. If they do pay it, don't forget to send a thank-you.
