Hi, I'm Lorelei. I live with my mother, my older sister and my grandmother.
I travel a lot but I'm never a tourist. ;) My mother owns property all over the country and I'm extremely lucky to feel at home in so many different places. It's a lot of fun and I get to see a lot of things and meet a lot of people.
Shopping always seems to be better away from home too.
I'm very fashion-minded and stylish, spontaneous and energetic, dorky and giggly. I enjoy having a good time. Almost too much. I party every chance I get. I do drink but I do so responsibly and you should too.
I'm very young but the year 2003 caused me to learn more about who I am than some people get to learn about themselves in an entire lifetime. Ever since I've made it a point to share what I've learned with everyone possible. Ask and I'll do my best to answer.

Whether or not you found my advice useful, a rating is appreciated, good or bad. Let me know how I can improve.

Okay I am 40 weeks pregnant. I was due xmas day. I still have not given birth! What could be taking so long? I am becoming so miserable, uncomfortable and irritated, not to mention impatient. Please if someone has any suggestions please help!

I was born two weeks after I was due. So was my best friend. I'm not 100% sure why I took so long. I guess I just wasn't ready to come out. The due date, really, is only an estimate. So don't be to worried about being a little late.

You could always try talking to your doctor about inducing labor.

what's the best shaving razor to use for legs?

I use Venus by Gillette. It does a fantastic job. Or when I'm feeling cheap (because the refills are definitely not cheap) I buy gillette disposable shavers. They're like two dollars a bag at the drugstore.

I have a group of really good friends, and i think that they are all a lot prettier and thinner than me, (they are all skinny girls and im curvy). so when a guy likes me, i usually take what i can get. i have very unique taste and i usually go for the guys everyone else thinks are ugly. but after i hook up with them, a few weeks later, they flirt with my friends. i dont know what to do because it really hurts me. how do i know that they werent just using me to get to my friends

If you find that your boyfriends flirt with your friends when you're all together, it could just be the way they act around pretty girls. That doesn't necessarily mean that he's using you or isn't interested in you. I'd still talk to him about it, though. Tell him it makes you feel uncomfortable. Be honest and up front about it.

If he's taking opportunities to spend time with your friends without you, then I'd be worried. Talk to your friends, about it. If he's getting too cozy with them, it's probably time to ditch the guy.

A smart guy would know better than to use a girl to get to her friends simply because a lot of women won't date a friend's ex.

As far as knowing a guy's intentions, that one's tough. Every guy is different. There's no clear cut way to determines a guy motives ahead of time. Believe me, I wish there was. :)

The best thing to do, if you ask me, is to remind yourself that if he's using you...it's not because you're unattractive or boring. It's because he's an asshole and you deserve so much better.

About a month ago, I got asked to go to a concert. Well, this guy's mother asked my mom if I wanted to go and bring a friend. Our parents are like best friends, so that's why he didn't ask me in person. And I have no problem with that. So I invited a friend to go with me. We had a really good time. My friend and I were the only two girls there. All the guys that were there were really nice to us. There were seven of them. He picked us up and brought us home too. He was really nice to us. Anyways, the guy that we went with- I don't like him as a crush, but we're friends. He has a girlfriend, but it wasn't at the time of the concert. I was just wondering what that means. Like, are we just friends, or more. I think that we're just friends, but what are some other opinions.

P.S. I've been over to his house a lot to swim, he's been over to mine for lots of stuff too. But our parents are really good friends and so are our sisters.

I think you're just reading too much into the gesture. Don't take this the wrong way, but you seem a little too eager to be in a relationship with someone. You're still young and there's a lot of time for that sort of stuff.

When someone likes you, you won't have any doubts, believe me.

I don't know why but it seems like everytime I am at my dads he drinks. And when we are at some family get together my step-mom and my dad both drink and get "tipsy". I hate it when they do this and it pisses me off. I hate it. I tell them that it is stupid for them to do this but they never listen and it makes me frustrated and they act like idiots and it embarrases me to even think that I am related to him and her. It is so embarrasing sometimes, I feel like i am about to cry. What can I do to help me persuade them to stop drinking so much and just have a good time with out the liquor? I would really like to get some advice.

Adults will drink. It is there choice as adults to do so and to be quite honest, it isn't your place at all to tell them what they should or shouldn't do. As long as they aren't doing irresponsible things while under the influence, then there is nothing for you to worry about.

Well, it's actually pronounced the same way, I guess heh. I just tried to spell it out as phonetically as possible.

My thanksgiving was pretty good. I didn't eat much, but I had a glass of wine with dinner which knocked me out pretty fast, lol. I got up, played monopoly with the family and fell back asleep, haha. 'Twas good times!

1. I do a lot of shopping online (shopbop.com and eBay mostly). When not online, I usually shop at H&M, Nordstrom, American Eagle, Lacoste or Forever 21.

2. My eye makeup is pretty simple and inexpensive. The eyeliner (pencil in charcoal and liquid in black) I'm wearing now is from the Body Shop but I like NYC too. The mascara is Wet 'n Wild. First, I softly line my eyes with the pencil. To make it last, I burn it over a match and then let it cool a little then use it. Smudge it a little so it isn't thick. After the pencil, I finely line my eyes again with the liquid eyeliner. Then I apply two coats of mascara. Then on my face, I might use Irreelle Soleil bronzer by Chanel. It's not cheap but I love it.

3. To clean my face, I use Dove cleansing pillows (they're neat hehe) and Clearasil Vanishing cream.

4. For my teeth, I just brush them regularly with these special toothpastes my dentist gave me. You can talk to your dentist about teeth whitening and he can probably hook you up with something too. ;P

Nope, I'm definitely 16. :) My birthday is April 15th.

And about your question...hrm. It all depends on whether or not you're willing to risk your friendship in order to pursue a romantic relationship. I, personally, value best friends over boyfriends any day. There's always the chance that the relationship might not work out and you will have lost your boyfriend and your best friend.

But that's me. I don't know how close you are to this friend. If you feel that you could maintain your friendship even after a failed courting, then by all means go for it, but be aware of the risk.

k, i've had my industrial since July, and i was wondering if I could take it out, and if so, how long? its a 14g and i was wondering if i did take it out, if i could put regular 18g earrings to fill the holes? please help, i'll rate

If you have 14g piercings, you should use 14g jewelry to keep the holes open. And I wouldn't leave the holes open for too long. I've had my cartilage pierced since June and I'm still not too keen on leaving it out. ;P

But by all means, do not ask a doctor. Most doctors are very anti-piercing. Just ask the guy who pierced you or the piercer at another parlor for advice. They'll give it to you for free if you are still unsure.

Everyone has to start somewhere. Don't be afraid to admit to your first kiss that they're your first. They'll probably be willing to teach you or hey you might be their first as well.
Just try to relax and don't think too hard about what you're doing. You'll be fine. :)

hey i was wondering if you could tell me ways to get my teachers to like me. I think they all think i'm dumb bc i'm blonde and say some ditzy things lOl but i really am smart and they see that on tests and stuff but they still think i'm dumb. Plus i laugh really loud i think they get annoyed but i just can NOT help it!

The best way to get on a teacher's good side is to make sure you do all of your work, and pay attention in class. Don't do a lot of extra talking if you can avoid it. All most teachers are looking for is a bit of respect from their students and the best way to do that is to act as if you care about their classes. Ask questions if you need to. Or, if a teacher says something during a lecture that interests you, spark conversation about it after class. That shows effort and genuine interest. You'll win those teachers over in no time. ;)

I actually changed that back when free users could still create styles of their own. I saw you've been a member for a while, so if you have any custom styles created, you can just edit that one.

In the column settings, you need to create a new style. then when it asks for the style base, choose the style you're using right now. Save it and then edit it again. Scroll down to the "Question/Answer layout" and change [view] to whatever you want. :)

I didn't get pimples the first time I used them actually. They did dry me out a little at first, though. But I have noticed that after a break out, washing my face actually seems to bring more pimples forward. Odds are, it isn't the pillows themselves causing the pimples, but rather your pores being cleaned out. Just keep using them per the directions and you should be all set in a little while.

Well, maybe you shouldn't use hints. Perhaps it's necessary for you to come outright and say what you mean.
Not to mention if you're "hinting" at something major, being direct is probably the best route.

alot of girls in the girls locker room, they were talking about seeing the gyno or wutever and they said all this stuff that i never heard of before and so wut really happens at a gyno app.?

At the gynecologist, you go in, you'll sit down in a pretty comfy, reclining chair and talk to the doctor basically about problems ... in that region. :P

The doctor will insert something called a speculum into your vagina, which will open it up a little (it's not painful, or uncomfortable even) and swab your cervix.

In some cases, the doctor may use fingers to check on internal organs.

This is not something that really bothers me too much, but I was just wondering if it is normal. My boyfriend *&* I have been going out for 11months, and like once or twice a week he goes out with like a few of his guy friends or they hang at a guys house, should I get aggrivated over this? because i know he loves me, or should I let him go out with the guys sometimes?? thank you! :)

Everyone needs some time with their friends. My boyfriend does that too. He goes bowling with his friends almost every Tuesday, and Saturday's are usually spent with his family.

The best thing about time apart is getting to see one another again. You don't want to smother him because your relationship could get stale. Not to mention, I'm sure he'll appreciate having such a cool girlfriend. :) Plus, you can take advantage of the time apart to hang out with your girlfriends.

well i have a gyno appointment next week and i'm kind of scared because i've never been there before. my mom doesn't know that my boyfriend and I have sex, but she made a comment about going on birth control if i think me and drew are going to have sex. i think i should but yet i dont know what to do because she will automatically know that me and drew have sex or that we are thinking about it. my mom says to tell her if me and drew were ever to do it but im afraid. should i go on the pill ? what do you think ?

If your mom is telling you these things, then she probably already suspects that you are at least thinking about sex. She will understand if you decide to go on birth control. In fact, she'll probably be happy you chose to protect yourself. If she ends up asking, just be honest.

You can't help who you like. Honestly. If things between you and this guy do progress, your friend may be hurt, initially. But, if she's your friend, she will understand.

How can she expect anything to happen between her and this guy if she doesn't even talk to him?

You could encourage her to talk more to this guy, but like I said, she can't fault you if she never made an attempt to talk to him.
