Okay I was just wondering what is the law now for getting your permit and license? Because I heard they changed it. Well I'm 15 now and I'm turning 16 in March.

I am a sophmore in highschool and I have been starting to talk to my old elementary school friend/ kinda of middle school boyfriend. His name is Tommie and i have known him forever. He now talks to be online alot and clearly is sort of interested but he is just so stupid! I mean he is really smart in school but is common sense towards girls is completly terrible. Me and my friends always ask him to come hangout or whatever and hes like yeaaa, then oh i cant go out.. i dont know. i am starting to like him and if i talk to him online later what should i say? good conversation starters/ how can i kind of tell him how i feel?

Good conversation starters:
- How is his weekend going?
- What's his favourite sport?
- Best memory of elementary/middle school
- What he's doing for New Year
- What he wants for Christmas
How to tell him:
- Remind him of the things you used to do/talk about when you were going out and how much you liked it and missed it.

Just ideas, it may seem easier than said than done but we must take chances in this short life we have! :)

I got contacts a few days ago and they've worked well. The problem is that they seem to be riding on my eyes fairly low, though they still cover the colored party of my eye. I have a stigmatism, so I don't know if that has anything to do with this, because I know I have the special contacts for that conditions. I've tried puting the contacts in different eyes, so I'm positive I have the right eyes. Is this normal.

I'm not expert, I must admit. If you have queries about your eyes, why not ring your optician to check? :)

Hey I'm a guy and was just wondering...should age matter in a relationship? What's your point of view on this one, like does it matter if both are close in age or far apart...by far I mean less than 5 years or so. Thanks in advance, will rate.

To me, no. To society, yes. When two people are dating, one is in their early teens and the other is late teens/early twenties say, society would ban them but by the time this young teenager is 20+, it doesn't seem that bad. I guess it all depends as to what age the youngest person is compared to the other. But for me, no, it doesn't. You can't choose who you fall in love with.

Okay so I've been dating my boyfriend for about 3 months and I'm trying to figure out what I want to get him for Christmas. I've gone to the mall with him a few times and have seen things he wanted to get, but when I say, "Oh maybe I'll get you that for Christmas" he says, "No, I can buy that for myself" (since he has a great job). So what's a gift I could get that would set itself apart from other things? I mean, I want to get him something special but I can't think of anything that can't be bought at a mall.

Please Help!

P.S. I've already made him dinner once, so I don't want to repeat that so soon.

- A book
- A picture of you and him in a REALLY fancy and expensive photo frame

yesterday a boy came over that i really like. Ok so things got heated and we started kissing, makin out a lot.yeah. Then we got into my room and he fingered me. Now im afraid that maybe he doesn't like me or somethin or just doesn't have any feelings for me. He's not the kind of guy that would use a girl like me like that because I know him really well and he treats me differently than other girls (in a good way)but for some reason I'm still worried that he's just gonna forget about me and go with another girl or something. What can I do to maybe prevent this from happening??? thankss!

Talk to him, tell you that you enjoyed what happened (if you did of course!) and that he made you feel special (if he did!).
He would have no reason to suddenly stop liking you, if so, then learn a lesson about trust. But, I'm sure you're just over-reacting, which we all do sometimes...

My family is conecting our two computers to the internet through some sort of wireless contraption. When I go to the computer that orginally didn't have internet and is farthest away from the connector, it says that the connection is little or none. Is there a way I can make the reception better, because right now all I get is "this page cannot be displayed."


Keep in mind that the item is connected to a computer with internet already, has 3 lights on it with "Power", "Broadband Link", and "Local Network" under the lights, which are all on. It also says SBC on the front.


Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried restarting? There is a programme called "Remote Assitance" which helped me in the similar situation as you.

An online test asking you whether you're a good kisser. Could help you determine where you might need to improve.
But, in my opinion, to judge whether you're a good or bad kisser depends on the other person's reaction to the kiss. Remember, you can say "Was that alright?" but smile. It's not a test to see who is the best kisser but who can stimulate the pleasures of the other. :)

But, you can't toy with people's feelings. Bob could be thinking that you're the one meanwhile you're thinking about how to plan to get close to Fred. You can't do that. Love can be a beautiful thing, but it can also hurt. Like I said...love can be a cute, merrily dancing pixie..with a shotgun...please don't fire the bullet.

I think you should use both a condom and the pill. When they say that the pill is 99.9% effective, it means that there is only .1% of the female getting pregnant/getting an STI

ok so here's the deal. me and drew went out for 2 1/2 years. everything was perfect and then he went to college. (i'm a highschool senior) he came home every weekend. its been almost 3 months since he's been there. we've had several problems since he's been there. he wanted me to be ok with him at another girls dorm til 1am dancing with a bunch of people. i felt uncomfortable and he didnt understand why. basically we didnt understand each others point of views. i got jealous for no reason. he broke up with me tuesday night. he says he still loves me and the last thing he wants to do is lose me but he feels as if its best. we were both miserable during the week bc i missed him and he couldnt do anything about it. i'm really hoping this is just a break. he won't talk to me. he told me he'll come to me when he's ready. its so hard to wait. apparently he's home this weekend and i dont know what to do. i really hope he calls and we work things out. what should i do?

Why not write him a note, stating that you miss him? It's the most you can do, if you do any more then he could think that you're becoming 'obsessed' with him but give him some space. I know it's not easy when someone is right *THERE* but all you can do is watch them, trust me.
You know what they say: Set him free, if he comes back, then it was meant to be...

I'm going to participate in a Speak Out program at my school, where I have to give a speech. We have to pick a topic - any - of our choice to talk about, three minutes or so tops. Well I need to give in a topic by tomorrow or after tomorrow maximum, and so far my teacher has advised me to talk about something I know from personal experience. So far, I could only think of depression: why do kids fall in to it, and how can it be stopped, the abuse of drugs, and thats it, but thats not personal experience. I was depressed for around a year, but I was in seventh grade and its unpleasnt to think of it. im a sophmore now, but ANYWAY, does anyone have any ideas for important topics, something that would get me picked? regardless of personal experience and such. This is really urgent and I really appreiciate good, well thought out answers.

Every time Im on the phone with my boyfriend we always start argueing because he always brings up my old boyfriends that are long gon. I do not want to brake up with him but he's forceing me to. What should I do

Talk to him or give him a note saying something on the lines of:
My old boyfriends were in the past, you are my present and my future and I love you more than all of them put together. I need you to understand that you mean the world to me and you have to accept me as a package...that includes my past.
I'm sure if he is the boyfriend you think he is, he will understand.

Most of the boyz I have been with want to have sex with me but I say no because I THOUGHT I belived in abstanence. Alright...sex shouldn't be planned, it's a way of life (reproduction) and the most intimate way of expressing love. It should be a magical, pleasurable experience for both. If you want to, talk to him and make sure he is ready and comfortable to too! Communication is the main thing, before you do anything, talk to him and ask him what would be the best way to do it to pleasure him the most!

i write poems about sucide and death. Afterwards a fell depressed and stuff i am i sucidal ??plz help??

People self harm because it makes them feel better. However, it's not doing your body or mentality any good. Some say if you want to quit self harming, have an elastic band around your wrist and flick it every time you feel the urge to self harm. I'm not sure if it works, it's worth a try though.
Being suicidal means intentionally ending your own life; it sometimes means someone who has committed, or attempted to commit suicide.
After the poems are written, you might feel better about yourself but you have to ask yourself why do you do it? Is it for fun? A way to cope? A way to express yourself? A way for attention?
