So I like this guy and Im almost 100% he's digging me back. But I need some kind of magic line to let him know it's all systems go so he can ask me out. I'm 14-years-old so I'm not looking for my life partner or anything. Well, my friends and even some people I don't know call me shallow because I only go out with guys I think are hott. And it's true but only to a certain point. Yes, I do look at looks first but doesn't everyone? I look at looks and if I think they're attractive then I'll talk to them and such. But I'll only date them if they have a great personality to go along with their looks. Personality can also make a guy hott to me so even if I'd initially think they were ugly but they had a confident, amazing personality I'd think they were hott. And like I said before, it's not like I'm looking for they guy I want to marry right now; I'm just having fun and meeting different guys. Does the way I see that make me shallow? Hello. Im asking advice today for a stupid little problem i have, but im not sure if there is any way i could control it. If im in school, or with my friends, or whatever (by the way im 14), when they mention "mom" or "dad", or "family", my eyes start to water and i just about cry. Not the "WAA-WAA" kind, it is just the red face, tears coming down and stuff, no squeaking or any of that crazy stuff. I cant say anything about parents or anything. When i talk about my family when someone asks, my voice gets shaky and i choke, and it makes me very uncomfortable because crying in front of the class isnt really a fun interest. I cry because my family has...problems. I just feel like i want either them or me to die. I feel like i hate them so much. Its not some "im mad at them because they took away my cell phone" kind of thing. Its more of a love issue. Im seeing a therapist but that is not working, she's not changing them. Well, in a nutshell, whenever someone talks about their parents, and when i talk about mine, i cry. Umm, i hope someone can help me with this, if its possible. Thank you.

i know sometimes having a faimly is a hard thing maybe talk about before any of this drama has happened and maybe if you dont like your family build a family of your friends if you need more help that should really help they should be there for you maybe like ask the councler if you can be put up for adoption or something it would save money from your mom and dad well i hope i helped please rate me

Okay...well i know this is weird..but i definetly need help lol. See everytime theres like a hott guy or jus even a cute one that like talks to me or is looking at me, even jus for a second, i start to turn red. AND the worst part is i don't even like them! Okay there is this guy I like ALOT, and all of my friends are like he likes you too! and i was all excited about it and today one of his friends walked up to me and was like are you mad at him? and i was like no why would i be? and he was like ohh and so me and my friend were like well if he thinks im mad at him i should be right? so me and her wrote this fake note and it was like hey... man im so mad at him how could he be so childish i thought he was more mature than that... and at the end of the note it said -lol- jk im not really mad at him. but he didnt get to the end of the letter and he looked like he was going to cry, and he folded up the note and threw it at us and he sat there silently for like 45 minutes and when the bell rung he usually has this posse of pple surrounding him and today it was just him and his best friend and his friend was like dude we were just joking about you being mad at him and now you really are? and i was like no we were joking too and he was like well than go explain that to him and he just looked at me like i was stupid and said "and you expect me to belivev that i read that note i mean if you're mad than why dont you say something, i mean what was i thinking liking you i knew you didnt really like me..." and i was like wait yes i do and he kept walking! how can i make this up to him? please help ill give good ratings; sorry its so long!

i think you need to call him up and tell him to meet you some where if he dont wnt to meet you then have a friend of your talk to one of his friends and his friend will go to like a movie or something and you and your friend will be there then he cant leave and you guys will talk and i think that he will under stand if there are all those people who know you guys were joking so hopefully that whole movie thing worked and i hope i helped and that every thing works out 4 ya

There is this guy who i've known for about 2 years now. He's really nice. i'm 13(male). my brother is 10(male).


i've shared a room with him since the day he was born. when i was 7 or 8, we switched to bunk-beds. the ladder up to the top is prety much the only place of privacy i have, other than the bathroom. my family isn't the richest in the world, but we're in a pretty good financial situation compared to others (my mom is a college professer, my dad is a newswriter). my question is, am i selfish for asking for my own room. we've been searching for about a year give or take, and have been outbid in 3 situations so far. currently we're in the midst of bidding.


sometimes i do feel selfish, because my parents are slightly older, and i feel that i'm taking away too much of their retirement funds. (this isn't exactly all for me, the neighborhood we're in now is pretty bad for them, for ex: my view from my room is at my neighbors dark green pool, 10 feet away, and theirs noise pollution from the other side from a stupid bird, which drives my parents nuts.) so am i asking for too much?

hey you are not asking for to much because you are getting to that age were you do need your own privacy and you dont want your little brother to be a little pest because when he gets older he is going to also want his own room to i am sure that you guys fight alot because of that but you are not asking for to much you want privacy thats all so i hope evrything works out and you each get your own room and if it dont work out maybe go outside that noone knows of and that can be your special spot hope i helped

I'm really interested in learning to eat more healthy...I am at a good weight right now and I want to stay there, so I'd like to know how I should eat. Fad diets are stupid, they don't last, they don't work. Healthy, well-balanced eating is what you can stick with for life. This may sound a little weird, but I'm not quite sure what healthy eating IS. Like...can someone give a sample menu of a healthy day of eating. Are snacks ok? Like, if you want to maintain your weight, what should you be eating. (I'm a 5'5 female who is 125 pounds.)
