I am a 20 year old guy in college. I have fun helping people with any of their problems. I fell in love with this site when everybody was so nice to me and helped me fix a problem with a girl awhile back, so I'm back to repay the favor. Many times when we have problems we dont think of the most sensible answer. So if you are looking for a little insight and some help, I'm your guy!

is that true that if you have a kanker sore and you give a guy oral sex he'll get herpes? since like kanker sores are a form of herpes. (link)
I'm pretty sure it is cold sores, not kanker sores, but dont do it until you find out for sure.

I need a few more roller disco soundtracks, preferable well - known songs
ive got *beegees staying alive* & *ymca*
thats it, and i need about 3 more songs!! (link)
A couple come to mind. "I will survive" and maybe "Crazy on you" by Heart. This website has the top 70s songs. I bet with some trial and error you will find a few more good ones.

Question…this girl friend I’ve been seeing sense last Sept. This girl tells me she loves me. I’ve noticed is wearing a heart shaped ring on her right hand. The second finger in from the pinkie. I asked her where she got it, and she said from a friend. Later that day I asked her again about the ring, and she said it was from Don. Don is a married guy that she has known from her work for the last twenty years. By the way the girl friend has a medical disability from Boeing. It is MS, and Don has helped her quite a bit. Although she said they have never had an intimate relationship, Don’s wife does not know about Gwen I was told because Don’s wife is very jealous type.

Makes you wonder what she gave him ??

Think this is something I need to worried about ??

Al A. (link)
Wow, this is a tough one. Do you know Don enough to ask him about it? That could be pretty awkward also if they do in fact have something going on. I do know however that the ring finger on the right hand usually means that the girl is taken. This is something that I would look into though, there's no need to get your heart broken in the future if you find out this has been going on for awhile. You deserve better than that. It is possible however that they are just good friends and it could mean nothing also. Sorry, I know I didn't give you a lot of advice, but I think you are in a tough situation. I guess just try to monitor the situation also. If she starts acting different to you, or not spending as much time with you, you may have something to worry about. Good luck.

Lately, I have been extremely thirsty. I do not know what is wrong with me! I weight a normal weight. I thought it might be early signs of diabetes - but i wasn't sure. I know that none of you can diagnose me, but any opinions?

thanks!

and by the way, my sister and dad both have diabetes - the one where they need to have sugar at certain points of the day or something! (link)
I would confront your parents or a doctor about this. If it is in fact something ilke diabetes, if you can diagnose it early you will be better off. The suggestions below are also really good. Just keep monitoring the situation. One more thing, if you can diagnose it now, you might be able to avoid taking insulin shots in the future (ugh).

Okay so this is really ackward but i'm going to have sex with my bf of 1 year and we are both ready but like i've seen playboy magazines with girls with no hair below and that is totally not the case for me because i'm latin!...so like what do i do should I get a wax, or go natural? or i have no idea about waxes and how much hair is considered normal! Please help. (link)
Yeah, guys dont really like hair down there. If you cant afford a wax or dont have enough time, at least trim it up. I'm a guy so I dont know a whole lot about the process girls go through, but take it from a guy and please do something. Even a little would help. Good luck, have fun, and be safe.

How do people do it?Whenever I hit the sack it ends up either flying in front on me or off to the side.I can't get it to just go straight up. (link)
When you go to kick it, by far the easiest way is to kick it off the side of your foot. Like you are getting ready to cross your legs. Also, if you wear tennis shoes like Asics, its more difficult because of the contour of the shoe. If you are really serious about it, get some skater shoes like vans or sketchers, those work pretty good. Basically, dont kick it like you are punting a football, that's pretty hard to master.

ok so my boyfriend is coming to visit me this summer, what is a really good website that has cheap airfare or a really good cheap airline?? Thanks in advance!! (link)
Use the ones below, make sure to shop around though. I flew to Ohio this summer and I found the exact same flight (number and everything) on two different sites and one was actually cheaper. Southwest is a cheap airline but its a pain to deal with, and it doesn't fly everywhere.

Guys - Do you like girls to shave 'down there', trim, or leave it? (link)
I like at least a trim down there, if not shaved all the way. As long as it's groomed though. If you are doing a lot of oral sex, I would probably shave more of it off. Without sounding corny, just having a little "landing strip" is pretty good.

basically, i like this guy. & i THINK he might like me back. either way every week he finds a way to come up to me and say hi, then he just stands there. but that's it, he doesn't talk to me much besides that and whatever i decide to say. & it gets so awkward when that happens.

the question is, why does he say hi then just stand there?
& should i start the conversations, or let it just be awkward and stuff? (link)
I'm a guy and I'm really shy. This sounds like something I might do, although it probably wouldn't quite as drastic as it sounds like he is doing. Go ahead and try to become friends with him, he'll loosen up and come out of his shell and then everything will be good. He probably wouldn't be so shy or nervous if he didn't feel the same way about you. As for those awkward situations now, just go ahead and make some small talk about school, that should get the conversations going.

okay, im 15, and at my school there's this girl i like A LOT. i see her every day, and she's in all of my classes, and she rides my bus. She lives 2 houses down. I've known her since i was 4, but i REALLY REALLY like her, but im not sure if she likes me, i mean, im not sure if she just wants to stay friends or not, so im not sure if i should ask her or not. anybody wanna help me? (link)
I know you guys are friends already, but I would start hanging out with her A LOT! After maybe a couple weeks of hanging out with her a bunch, maybe just mention that you really like that you guys have started getting so close and then ask her if you guys want to be something more. But I would definitely pursue this if I were you.

Okay so a few days ago my boyfriend and I were lsaying on a couch watching a movie and while we were facing eachother i whispered i love you. (this was the first time either of us has said it in person) and he just kinna smiled and kissed me. now i'm not 100% sure he heard me but it seems like he did.
should i see this as a bad thing? i expected him to say i love you too. please tell me what you think. thanks. (link)
Definitely dont worry about it. Saying I love you in a relationship seems to be a pretty big step. He obviously likes you a lot, but just may not be ready yet to make that step. I'm sure he feels the same way though due to his reaction, he didn't get up and walk away, or frown, or get a goofy look on his face. He smiled, and kissed you. Besides, I think him saying "i love you" on his own means more than him just saying "i love you too" because that is more of a reaction, and he may not really feel it. So I think you are sitting in pretty good shape.

hey guys! well, i'm 14, and weigh about 161. i know i'm overweight, but i really don't look too fat. but i do want to loose some weight. what are some good tasting, healthy foods that will help me loose weight? and also, what are some things that i can do to work out. i know there is push-ups and sit-ups and stuff, but what else?? thanks everyone!! (link)
In my experience, snacking is what is the killer. Once I quit snacking a lot I started to lose weight (like 15 pounds in 3 or 4 months). Now I usually go to bed hungry, but its really not that bad because I forget about it really soon. Before I used to have a bowl of cereal before bed but I realized there's really no point since you dont know if you are hungry or not when you are asleep. I think adding this to all of the suggestions below would be an excellent start.

like stuff we're not allowed to eat.. like i end up eating the whole thing. like ever since i was little.. like we cant eat candy.. id take 1 and soon the whole thing will be gone. the same thing happened with gum my mom got in a big pack, and now she bought honey and i've basically just licked almost half of the bottle. and before i ate some sweet tasting like milk mix with lots of sugar.. and today she was looking for it and i had to lie.. ugh i dont know whats happening to me. its so annoying becase if i dont improve on my behavior and blah, then my mom wont sign me up for spring soccer!

tomorrow im scared.. cuz my mom's comming home and she'll probably yell at me for licking the honey.. and i'll be more steps away from being able to join soccer.. and registration is due in a little less than a month!!! i dont know why.. like when its something bad, i feel like i cant stop eating it, especially if its sweet or tastes good. and i usually have meals before i sleep with is why my stomach probably hasnt been shrinking. ive noticed quite a difference with my weight.. ive gained some pounds and im like 10-20 pounds over average! well.. im 5'3 and a half, and weigh about 155 pounds (and that was the last time i checked.. at the doctors office because our scale at home doesnt work. i hope hose numbers have been decreasing.. though i doubt it.) anyways.. like these topics are closely linked. how can i stop this habit of excessively eating? like usually im not hungry when i eat stuff like that.. or sometimes i'll eat something healthy like an apple.. then like 2 apples just because they taste good. my parents cook pretty healthy foods but we also have a little bit of unhealthy stuff, so how do i deal with the fact that they are there? i mean its technically stealing even if its in the same house. i hate that.. like after trying some snack or whatever once, i think i'll just take one more, then that really increases..

I'm not really sure how to answer your question about you not being able to stop eating junk food. It was kinda like that for me in high school. Once I got to college however, I kind of discovered the secret to staying thin. I dont really have breakfast (maybe a nutrigrain bar and a glass of milk or orange juice sometimes) and I dont really snack during the day. I used to have like a bowl of cereal also every night before I'd go to bed. But once I quit doing all the snacking, my pounds started shedding off. Not really quickly, but I lost like 15 pounds in 3 or 4 months. I still chow down on greasy foods during lunch and dinner, but after my experience I think that its just the snacking that got to me. That's just what happened to me, good luck, I know that this is always a stressful subject. Also, Try to just monitor what you are eating, like instead of grabbing an entire bag of chips and just grazing, put the amount you are willing to eat on a plate and eat them. You'll be less likely to overeat that way. Sorry this is so long, but I got one more thing. Now I go to sleep almost every night hungry, but my body has gotten used to it and soon I forget that I am hungry. I think that has something to do with it as well.

Is this okay to do?I've always heard it's better to shave with warm-hot water, but whenever I do I get all cut up.I tried cold water today and there weren't any problems but I think I heard something about having a chance of getting ingrown hairs or something like this... (link)
The only reason I have heard it's better to shave with warm water is because it opens up your pores a little more, pushing the hair out. Which makes it so you shave off more of the hair, thus making it necessary to shave as often. I haven't heard of any dangers of shaving with cold water. I would say it would be better to shave with cold water if you dont get cut up, even if it means you have to shave a little more often.

ok so i just got new furniture in my room. most of it is from this collection:

http://www.thomasville.com/Item2942/Bridges-2.0-Bedroom-Chest.aspx

I have that chest, a dresser, a desk, a night table, and then a hand painted greenish with flowers lingerie chest and an iron silver headboard (full size bed) My room is not huge so I feel kind of closed in with all of this furniture. I love all the space on the desk and dresser and the furniture is all really pretty.

But what I dislike is how my room looks like it belongs to an old woman. Haha it just looks so boring. Sophisticated maybe? But I don't want that. I am allowed to get a new bedspread... mine now is SO boring it's white with blue and purple flowers. And my walls are just a boring light ivy green color. I want to add more color without it being too much. I don't know if I want a theme or anything. But I have almost an entire empty wall space above my desk to utilize and with enough convincing I may be able to repaint my room. I'm 14, and I would like my room to fit that! Thanks for any help! (link)
I got handmedowns from my parents last month which included their bed, their dresser, and an entertainment system of the same color, so it just looked like my parents had moved their room into mine. But once I put all my posters and my bulletin board back up, it looked like a kids room again. Try to just personalizing it, and instead of looking like your grandma's room, it will look sophisticated, like you said.

My boyfriend just got a car. It's a manual. He knows how to drive it fine, but he can't shift into first gear fast enough and that causes him to roll backwards if he happens to be stopped on a hill. He's worried that since people always stop basically right on his ass, he's going to roll backwards into them. Any tips on how to not roll backwards in a situation like that? I mean I know if he did roll back and hit someone it would be the other person's fault for stopping so close, but it would be nice to avoid the problem altogether. Please and thanks! (link)
First off, when he's stopped at a light, leave it in first gear (dont shift to neutral). When he's ready to go, tell him to move his foot off the break and onto the gas while simultaneously letting the clutch out. It took me awhile to get used to the stick shift, especially in my town which is all hilly. But now I can do it without rolling backwards an inch. Tell him to practice a lot, that's how you get good at it.

OK, i am kind of short, like 5'1 or something(if that much) and i weigh 95 pounds. I know that's not overweight, but i have this stupid little pouch thingy and it makes me feel fat. How do i get rid of that wothout dramatic weight loss? Just exercise? (link)
I would do a bunch of sit ups. You could also try some pilates type exercises to tone your muscles. Definitely don't do any drastic dieting. Besides, they say the harshest critic of your body is yourself. Odds are at your size, nobody even notices.

A couple years ago I had this BFF and we did everything together, we were really close. I dont know what happened but we arent frinds anymore, now she has this ONE best friend that is moving away. I feel really bad for her and I cant help it but I feel like I want to be her friend again so I can be there for her. Is that the right thing to do or would I just be starting a whole other mess of a frindship?
Thanks
-Hal (link)
If you guys just kind of drifted apart for really no apparent reason, I would go ahead and let her know that you feel bad about her friend moving away. But if you got in a fight and that is the reason you are not friends anymore, I might not say anything. It kind of depends on the situation of why you guys dont hang out anymore. Odds are it would make her feel better if you told her you were there for her, and you felt bad.

I am getting my wisdom teeth pulled in a couple of days and I am really scared! If you have had yours out...
-does it hurt
-is going under weird, what does it feel like
-should i be scared
Thanks
Hal (link)
I had to get all four of mine pulled at once. It's really not too bad. Going under just feels like falling asleep. Afterwards you are really tired for a few hours but not really painful. And you'll get pain pills to take too. Honestly the worst part about it is trying to eat after the surgery. Get some pudding and straws because that will help. Really the only pain you ever feel is if you take a bite of food and it slides back onto where the wisdom teeth were. I wouldn't worry about it, it's not that bad of a procedure, and just about everybody has to do it. Good luck

ok ahhhhhhh ok so like i dont know how to respond when i get like a compliment. like i have no idea what to say to them. like this guys like your realllly cute. and im like aww thanks =D but i f elt wierd... because ididnt compliment him back you kno?? so what do i do? (link)
As for your question "and also like what if he says heyyy cutie. what do i say? do i just sayhi? orr?" I'm not sure what a good line for you to say back is. Once again, as a guy, I'm really not looking for a compliment in return if I give a girl a compliment, I'm just trying to make her feel good. So don't really feel like you need to say something clever if somebody says "you look great" or even "hi cutie"
