hiya since march i have been having nose bleeds on and off they are normally very small ans stop after 1 min or so and i have only had 4 bad ones in that time frame and tonight (4th september 2011) i have had 2 smalls on the space of 2 hours.
Is this bad?

According to my 10th grade math teacher, nose bleeds are caused by cocaine use...
Anyway, they're also sometimes causes by dry noses.
If the insides of your noses dries up, it's very easy to crack the skin and it most likely will.
Thus, nose bleed.
You should be fine.

I've been asking people questions on Tumblr, but only a few of them get answered. Then I saw that one I had asked a week ago (to a person that blogs EVERYDAY) had JUST been answered. How long does it usually take for questions to be received?
ALSO, how can you tell if someone has blocked you on there? Will their blog still show up on the dashboard? (link)

If you've been blocked on Tumblr you won't see the persons posts on your dash if you're following them, but you can still view their page.
As for the messages, there are a number of senarios.
1) Some Tumblrs have an extremely large amount of followers (20,000, 30,000), and therefore get hunderds of questions a day. Which would explain why it took so long to answer yours.
2) Some people simpley don't like/care for the message/question function on Tumblr. And instead of just turning it off, they ignore the inboxes untill they're in the mood to answer them. Or just ignore them completely.
3) Somebody could also ignore your question if it's one they get asked daily. If this is the case, usually the person who runs the blog will have an FAQ page linked on their account.
Questions on Tumblr are received in the inbox as soon as you send one.

Your mom, like yourself, is also female. Obviously, haha. She'll be so happy when you tell her. The day before I got my period, I had such bad cramps I couldn't move at all. My mom told me I was probably going to get it that day or the next. The next day I did and when I came out of the bathroom and told her, she hugged me and had a huge smile on her face.
She then proceeded to call my aunt and half-sisters about the news...
ANYWAY, don't be embarrassed. She's your mom. Depending on when she got her period, she's probably expecting you to get yours soon.
Just walk up to her, or bring her into a room so you can both be alone, and say, "Mom, I got my period."

They just cut them out. I've had fourteen stitches total in my life, and it's never hurt getting them out.

So I'm thinking about not even being in the yearbook this year.
This upcoming year will be my senior year and I'm supposed to get my senior portrait done in the next 8 days or else it won't be in the yearbook.
The problem is my school only allows photos to be done by a company that is insanely expensive considering that they aren't very good at what they do.
The last 3 years the same company has done my schools photos and when you look in the yearbook 90% of the photos look like crap. There's at least 50 photos in our yearbook where people have their eyes closed. How pathetic right?
I called the company earlier and their cheapest offer was $80 for one photo!
I never bought any of the previous photos either because they never took a good one. I always had some sort of stupid expression on my face or I wasn't even smiling. They even took one with my eyes half closed.
They never let you see the photos they take and they usually use the very first one.
So i'm considering not even having my photo in the yearbook this year.
If I could get my photo done by real professionals I would be all for it but my school said either the company they picked out or no photo at all.
Plus i'm saving up money for when I move out so I really don't feel like spending $80 on a crap photo.
What do you think I should do?

While I agree with the poster below me, it IS your senior year. I think it's half worth it, half not.
If I were you, I'd get it taken. Personally, 20 years from now I would regret not having it in the yearbook if I didn't.
So you have to think about that, would you regret it?

Hi, im Gracie and Im 13 and my question is...
Do you hit your kids to punish them? My dad never hits me; he grabs me and shakes me sometimes lol or he yells but he never hit me. But the other day I went to a friends house and her mom slapped her for rolling her eyes. I thought that was kinda harsh and unfair. So I was just wondering if lots of parents hit their kids and why? Isnt that like abuse? What if it makes your kids hate you?

I am not personally a parent, but I did get spanked as child.
I think it's completely wrong, and should be considered abuse.
It was my mother who would do it, my dad was against it.
I grew up resenting her. I grew up crying quite often because of it. I would often have thoughts of running away and even taking my own life at even the age of six.
I didn't understand why she would hit me, and not just sit me down and talk to me calmly about what I as doing wrong.
She said sorry once. I was three, and crying on my couch after being spanked for god knows what. And that was the only time I ever got a sorry.
I've vowed to never treat my kids the way I was treated. I vowed to be a completely different mother than my own.
It hurts. I eventually learned to fight back around when I was ten or eleven. She realized I was a lot stronger than her, and she wasn't able to hold me down any longer. So it stopped.
To this day, she still makes jokes about it. I don't think she realizes how uncomfortable it makes me. Or how badly it hurts me. But she stills makes jokes, such as, "I should have beat you more when you were a kid." "Sometimes I still wish I could get a good beating in."
It's almost as if she's proud, and I think that is what hurts the most.
I have an okay relationship with my mom now. She's not longer living here, she cheated and left my dad when I was fourteen. She trys to act more like a best friend than a mom.
At times in my life I really did honestly hate her. I still do, when I think back to it.
I don't understand how a parent can put their hands on their children as punishment.
It's just wrong. So, so wrong.

I keep getting calls from my friend, but the person on the other end isn't him. (Let's say his name is Joseph, which is the name I call him by. Everyone else calls him Bj) I have his ringtone set to a different one than everyone else.
When I recieved the call... It was his ringtone, his name, & his number. I answered & it wasn't his voice. It sounded like a voice changer or something. All deep & weird.
I texted Joseph about 2 minutes after the call telling him to keep his phone to himself & quit letting his friends call me saying stupid stuff. He was absolutely clueless. He said he hasn't took his phone out of his pocket until just when he recieved my text. He isn't one to lie to me.

I've had this happen to me! I was so creeped out.
This guy I had barely knew, but gave my number to so we could get to know eachother, was doing this.
He told me he had hacked my phone.
He had told me about a week before this happened that he had hacked his Wii, so I believed him when he said he hacked my phone somehow.
But it seems an app could be likely, too.

We had a stupid fight because i sprayed his cologne. We argued and carried attitude for about 30 minutes until he called me a worthless ***** then i asked him why would he get mad just because I sprayed his cologne. He told me to say it again and as i said it he punched me right in the mouth and busted my bottom lip. He said he was angry and didn't mean it. We have been together for since freshman year in high school and this has never happened before. what do you think? (link)

This is so wrong on so many levels.
He said he was angry? He said didn't mean it?
What about the next time he gets angry? Not to mention he got angry over something absolutely and completely absurd. What on Earth is he going to do if you, lets say, accidentally break something of his?
He said he didn't mean it? If he 'didn't mean it', he shouldn't have done it.
Punching a woman in the mouth is 100 times different than calling them a worthless bitch.
While both are wrong, in the heat of an angry moment calling somebody names to ease your anger is normal.
Punching a woman in the face, is not.
This may be the first time he's ever done such a thing like this. But that's how abusive men work. They act like the perfect boyfriend, and than when you get comfortable and you fall in love with them, that's when they start letting their true colors shine through.
Please. Please get our of this relationship. It only takes one punch to start making it a daily thing.

How do I apply my eyeshadow so it looks bold?
I try, over and over, to apply my eyeshadow so you can see it through my glasses. However, when I put my glasses on, it's really hard to tell that I'm even wearing eyeshadow, but you can always tell that I'm wearing eyeliner/mascara. I have blond hair, and blue eyes, so I can wear greens, blues, pinks, purples and browns. I like Covergirl and L'oreal the best, but I'll wear any brand. My skin isn't sensitive. Thanks to all who answer.
I hate the applicator brush, so I use a shadow brush. Here is my traditional makeup routine.
1. Moisturize
2. apply foundation with a powder brush (I HATE the sponge!)
3. LIGHTLY apply bronzer
4. Apply light mosaic face powder (to help lighten the bronzer, since I look like tanning bed gone wrong otherwise.)
5. Apply black liner. I do this so that the liner somewhat takes on the color of my eyeshadow
6. Apply the shadow. I use a light color for highlighting, then put the darkest color I want to use from my lid to my crease. from crease to brow is a lighter color.
7. Apply mascara
8. Blush
9. Lipstick or lipgloss, depending on what I want to use. (link)

My son is three years old, and he is very interested in going to the "potty" he has been ready for this every since he was 18 months old, but he is our first child and neither me or my husband has even changed a diaper before him let alone potty train. We have asked many other parents what to do or if they had any tips, and most of them say "oh, just go with the flow." or "He will go on his own when he is ready." and "I dont know you just do it." Amazing even my mother cant explain to me how to potty train a child and she has done it 6 times. My husband and I are completely clueless. We feel like we are failing at this becuase we have no idea how to do this and he wants it really bad. So my question is, How do you potty train a child? Are there any tips to make it easier for him? So I am 14 going to be 15 and I have been told many times that I am an amazing singer. I love to sing and I am sure that it is what I want to do. I play piano and guitar too. Any tattoo/piercing shop should do one. But I know quite a few who won't do it until your 16.
I suggest looking in phone books, or maybe googling "Muskegon MI tattoo/peircing parlor" and seeing what you get.

Okay so basically the sooner the advice the better :/
I'm from the UK, 18 and I'm going to go buy a home pregnancy test tomorrow, and I'm hoping it is going to be negative but in case it's positive I'm trying to plan ahead (a tad late obviously) back ground information is: this happened just over 3 weeks ago, I was pretty much virgin until then and he never came inside me, now I think my period is late but I'm kind of irregular anyway so it's hard to tell...
So my plan is to go to Tesco's and buy a home pregnancy test tomorrow to see what it say's and if it say's positive I need advice on where to go from there, like do I go to an NHS clinic to get an abortion or go to my doctors? and also, if it is positive would I still have to literally give birth even if I had an abortion?

I myself use verizon. Our bill is about $130 every month.
I used TMobile in the past and I found it dropped called quite often and it didn't get good service.
Verizon does the opposite.
My phone is the Samsung Reality, and I highly recommend it. It has a pretty decent battory life, looks nice, QWERTY keyboard, touch screen, lasts a long time (Had it since July, dropped it several times and still working perfectly)
If you do go with Verizon but don't get the Reality, I strongly advise you to not get any LG phones. I've had the enV 2 and enV Touch and both phones had terrible battory life, and got mjultiple bugs in them, making me need to get multiple replacements for each.

Everyone starts their period at different times, because everyone is different. You'll start it eventually, and since you're twelve I'm going to assume it'll be this year. You'll know when it's coming when you start getting cramps.
Enjoy not having it while it lasts. Because after a few years of having it you'll wish you weren't a female. Lol.
