Ways to get recognized as a singer, and get some stage experience as well?

Question Posted Sunday July 3 2011, 2:48 am

So I am 14 going to be 15 and I have been told many times that I am an amazing singer. I love to sing and I am sure that it is what I want to do. I play piano and guitar too. Anyway, I want some ideas of how to get in the music industry. I don't care if it makes me famous or not I just want to sing and get some stage experience. The reason I am starting so young is I want to get a head start on it. Any ideas on what I could do?

You could open up a YouTube account focases mainly on your singing. Upload videos of you singing covers of popular songs, or even some of your own original songs. Many singers are discovered on YouTube. Take Justin Bieber for example.

you can record a few cds and send them to different radio stations... go sing at church, also you can sing at community events ... someone will notice how awesome you are and want to help you out :)
