hey okay im a 14/f and im home sick from school today...i have a stuffy nose, really bad cough, and a super sore throat. my whole back and neck are really sore, and it hurts to move my neck really bad. is this just from being sick or do i have something else wrong?

Ok..ive liked this guy for awhile now and he finally asked me out. But the thing is he goes to a different school and i barely see him. We dont really talk much either in person that is. So i turned him down. And plus ive been goin thru alot of stuff lately w/ my family. is that bad that i turned him down..my friends think it is..

I guess it depends. If your not upset from rejecting him then its fine. You only have to suit yourself. Now if you feel upset about rejecting him and it's really bothering you then maybe it is a bad thing.

There's this boy that I've known for a few years. We talk on email every single day, and we see each other at school.
It feels like we're just friends, but the other day my best friend pointed out that it seems like we are "more than just friends".
I don't believe that, he's just my friend. He's weird, funny, nice, creative, and lots of other things, but I don't know if I really "like like" him or not.
Can someone help me out in trying to figure out my real feelings?

May 17, 2004, ((st. patricks day)) one of my best friends committed suicide. She was 13 years old. She was born on September 11, 1990. Her name was Alyssa, and she was walking to school late and she was walking on the tracks. She heard the train coming and she turned around, put her hood up, and gave the thumbs up sign to the conductor. He couldn't stop the train. Alyssa got hit and died. A month later the investigators claimed it to be suicide, which everyone already knew. She had tried committing suicide a couple weeks before that, but I had to drag her off the tracks by her hair. I had made her go see the school counselor before that and I guess she still wanted to committ suicide. The night before she was hit, she wrote R.I.P Alyssa on her and her boyfriend's bedroom wall. She killed herself for many reasons, but I only know of how her boyfriend was cheating on her and she was in a gang and family problems. She told me there was more though. I tried so hard to convince her that death wasn't the soulution, but she didn't listen. I did everything I could to help her. Anyway, I know it's long but I thought you needed to know the whole story.
So my problem is, I still haven't been able to cope with it. I cry all the time and nobody seems to understand me. I miss her so much. I've already seen numerous counselors but they haven't helped me much. I just want to know if there's any way that I could start the "healing process" or if it'll just take time. I would appreciate all the help. Thank you so much!

To be honest. There's no easy way and fast way to cope with these things. People say just remember the good times. Well remembering the good times just makes you want to die because you think about the person even more. No one is going to understand you. The only way to deal with it is just cry and be happy for her. You'll know when it's time to let go. Don't let anyone rush you to get over her. It takes time. All you can do is just wait it out. Everything will work out someday. Just keep your head high and smile. Just think she's in a happier place then anyone on earth is now. It's a part of life. Just except it :]. Good luck.

i feel so young all my friends are turning 15 this year and i just turned 14!! were all in the same grade though. i just want to grow up to where in 16 so i can party and drive. my parents are so protective because im there only child and they dont want to lose me with all the murders and kidnappers and shit in the world. it upsets me. they think im still a little kid still and they treat me like im a little kid. does anyone feel this way what should i do??
I've never felt that way - but my parents feel the same way and I have a bunch of friends that parents are the same way. You just have to show them that your capable of taking care of yourself in a hazardous situation. It might take awhile but soon your parents will get it. Try talking to your parents about it, explain why you want to do this or that and blah blah. If they don't get and refuse to let you do anything then keep pushing it, show them that its something you really really want. Hope I helped.:) Good luck xox

ok well i went to a nearby school where a whole bunch of people hang out yesterday.. n luckily.. the like one of the hottest kids in my town was there.. n he was being flirty wit me.. but now that i think about it.. he was kinda usin me to get the ball when it went away frum them playing backetball.. he was like awe u just to cute and ur beautiful n all that but then he would keep saying that a lot.. if this helpes hes such a playa but n e way.. my question is.. do u think he was usin me or he realli thinks those things.. i kno talk to him online too if that may help in n e sort and some of my friends r soo jelous they wanna meet him so now i have to c if we can meet him there again.. what should i ask him.. sorry this is long but ur help will be greatly apprechiated! thanx!!

ok im like really white all my friends are way darker then me. anyways you know those different lotions that give you a tan what one works the best and doesnt turn you orange and really dark but gives you a beach tan. i dont want to go to a tanning bed because that can give you skin cancer or something. thanks.
Your screwed either way. I don't care what anyone says, those stupid creams that say they give off a "great tan" are a waste of money. [ BIG WASTE ]
Trust me. I've tried it been there done that. But anyways the tanning bed might be bad for you but it tans you and skin cancer happens to people with certain types of skin. Actually the sun is just as bad. So if you tan outside whats the difference huh? Plus your young and you only live once. It's not like you can protect yourself from it. If your going to get skin cancer your going to get it. It's just the way it goes.

Well I told my mom and she freaked. And the reaosn why, is because hes middle eastern. He's not muslim(and even if he was I'd date him), he's not a terroist, his family are not terroists..he just happens to be from Iraq. ok my friend is having a Hallow's Eve(halloween for those of you non-believers) and i wanna dress up as something dark(black and evil) or like a punk or goth or sumthin, but my mom wont let me be a goth 4 sum reason(no offense to goths, i luv u) so any ideas wut i should be besides the old fashioned witch crap(im already one anyways)
tell your mom your being satan. LOL sike just dress up as like a witch sorta or like a dead person and wear all black and tell your mom your not dressing up as goth just as some weird dead person or something.
