All my life I've had very fine, thick, straight light brown hair with natural blonde highlights.
All of a sudden lately, I've been getting coarser, wavy black hair coming in on my head. The overall texture of my hair isn't changing for the most part, but these hairs are driving me nuts!
Is this normal? Will my hair turn black and coarser, or is this just a temporary thing?
haiii! don't worry about your hair, may be it's a natural behaviors of your body, which came as a genetic odd behaviors from your parents. ask your parents, grandparents whether they had the same experience like you at your age! but i think you can be the new trendsetter on the block if you can find the most suitable haircuts since blonde is a mass trend that i, myself is already bored of seeing a blonde girl everywhere! cheer! be unique, be special and keep happy!

I lost touch with my dad when i was 9 (long story) last year was the first time i got in touch with him. i also met aunts that i never knew my whole life. before we lost touch i last saw him a few weeks before i turned 8. the whole thing is i'm jamaican and my dad left jamaica when i was 2 then came back to visit when i was 4 . so i really don't know him. he left jamaica and cheated on my mother with another woman that he has 2 kids with now (10 and 11) i finally came to the US when i was 6 but i lived in new jersey and my dad lived in florida and he still does currently. after losing touch i moved to conneticut but last year on the internet i found his name and phone number. i was so excited that had always been something i yearned for over the years. now it's a year later and he still hasn't visited me. i haven't ben able to go because of the situation at home. my mother is a single parent and has another child my younger sister. she couldn't afford for me to leave when she has to work. so i have to wait till some other time to visit my family. my aunts came up to see me last summer but my dad hasn't. i just became disinterested in him over time because i thought he would have been here by now. i haven't seen him in 10 years i'm 18 now and i think it's messed up that he wants to come to my graduation but couldn't come here just to visit me. he also works at the airport in miami so that's not a problem. he stopped calling me which i don't care about because it's akward talking to him when i don't know what to say. my aunt's always have somthing to say when i try to point out the fact that he hasn't visited me yet. he has 2 other kids with him and i feel really out of place the least he could do is visit he sends money every month but it doesn't make up for everyhting else. does anyone else beside my bestfriend see's where i'm coming from?
Well, you know you love your dad, you miss him too much! you just can't handle your emotion on meeting him! you need a figure of father in your life! but you hate him, because he never show his feelings on you (You know everything about him from your aunts) may be your father afraid that his presence will tore your mother's feelings, you know woman is very sensitive about their past, and your dad is her past!
just trytounderstand that your father is wanna be with you, he still loves you! he just afraid that he will make the same mistake with his wife if he get back with your mother!
just give him those chance! give your mom a time to think! ask her that you need the presence of your biological father badly in your life!

I'm a highschool junior, so I'm 16 years old.
I recently went to a "college night" at my highschool & there were like over 100 colleges there. Me & my mom have been looking at the brochures, and she INSISTS I go to a college. Like a live-at-home gain your credit hours, and not live in a dorm. My parents literally have NO money, my dads paychecks go to all the bills and then part of my moms pay checks go to some bills and the rest goes to groceries & living.
I have one brother and two sisters, and they've all gone to a four-year college, lived in a dorm, and had a college life.
I know that they won't have enough money to send me to like University of AUSTIN & stuff, even though it'd be really nice to go there, (tutition is seriously expensive, even if you live in Texas.) I hate thinking that I'm going to have to go to a 2 year college and travel from school to my parents house ALL THE TIME. But, it just feels like since I'm the youngest, I get like the worst shit.
I hate it. :/
Plus all my siblings had cars & their licenses by their 16th birthday.. & I'm almost 17 and don't even have my license yet, and won't have a car for a REALLY long time.
I don't know what to say.

there are hundreds of way to go to the college for free! but you must have some special skills to achive those scholarship! may be you are an athlete that already won some competition, scholarship from a foreign country,etc!
if you are able to get those scholarship, i think thatyour parents will give you a special attention! Every responsible parents will give all the best thing that they can get for their childs! may be your parents still confuse in how to earn enough money for their child (your siblings also in college, right?) but sometimes their childs doesn't know how hard they are in earning money!Just make your parents proud! show them that you just need a support & attention from them!

I'm a teenage g i r l. There's a guy who I want to hook up with, and we planned it for next month. I want to do it really badly, as I'm not a christian so I can do whatever I want sexually. I am 26 years old female...My boyfriend is a great guy the best boyfriend ever when he is SOBER....when he drinks hes a different person...hes mean to me and throws me around when i dont wanna deal with him....he has never hit me but he gets real rough with me and hits the door or will smash something...I'm scared i dont know what to do...he always says im the mean one or i hurt him but when hes on top of me i have to push him away he pins me down...i have talked to him about this but i really dont know what to do...i just got a place with him just 3 months ago and now i feel trapped...what should i do...does this happen to anyone else...how can i help him?

Am I the only one alive who thinks it's terrible that kids (13-16) are having sex? I'm only 18, but when I was 13, I was riding my bike and doing karate, not giving blowjobs on the school bus. I'm a freshman in highschool, and I've started hearing more and more about people drinking, smoking, doing drugs, etc. I don't know if it's just my school, or if it's normal... but it seems like if you don't drink, people are like, "OMG?! YOU DON'T DRINK?!" Is it like that elsewhere? Or is it just my school? Because I'm hearing a lot about it now. Also, why do so many people do these things to themselves? What to they get out of it? A hangover? They like that? Can't they have fun without getting drunk or high? I don't get it. Sorry so many questions, thanks in advance.

theres this kid in 2 of my classes. he's okay looking, hes got really nice eyes :) but hes ehh ok lol andddd like ive never seen him smile! soo anyway. one day in my school, there was this fire drill, that lasted like 20 min. hi there musclemania, according to mypersonal experience you need at least 1 month to build your muscle in the healthiest way! all you have to do is to concentrate your muscle building project in a specific location, for example your arms. then have had a simple and continous weightlifting or other sports that using your specific muscle continously. as time goes by you should increse it's weight step by step as far as you can go! slowly but sure, but please don't force yourself! And dont forgot to eat nutritious food such as egg's yolk, fat free meat, fresh fish or others! natural is better! avoid yourself to consume some multivitamin drugs regularly!

Hey everyone! well my room is tropical and i really want a little tropical, tiki hut kinda thing. But the problem is, my room is not very big and i want a short one and not to wide.
