Okay, so I dont know what this question really should go under, but this was the closest i guess. So its kind of a wierd question..but i know that you can spread acne on your own face infected areas that you touch n all that. But does anyone know if you can spread acne through another person =X IE:if you kissing another person with acne by their mouth and that part of your face touches..can you break out from that other person? any help is appreciated. Thanks

It can happen. It's happened to me before. All you need to do is make sure that you wash your face once a day and keep it clean, then it shouldn't be as bad. Good luck.

Okay, tonight, my mom got really mad at me. Like REALLY mad. And it was all over this stupid box of macaroni that she asked me to make for dinner. I read the instructions wrong, and thought that you had to let the water boil for 10 minutes before putting in the macaraoni. So anyway, she flipped out on me. And started screaming. And she slapped me twice. And i really wanted to hit her, but i didn't, i just grabbed her wrist's really hard. So she flipped out on me contiunously, and after i made dinner, she went on to say "i dont even like this crap anyway" and didn't eat all of it.

This isn't the first time she's done stuff like this and i dont know how to deal with it. what do i do?

You really need to sit down with your mom and talk to her about how everyone makes mistakes, and that your sorry. But, you also need to confront her about slapping you and yelling at you for such a little mistkae, slapping = abuse, and you should probably nip this in the bud before it gets anyworse. I hope everything works out

It's actually more polite to keep your eyes closed while you are making out because who wants someone staring at them? It would be kind of weird, and a lot of guys close their eyes.

i have acne on my forehead and lately i have been noticing that there have been these red dots all over my face.. there are like 5 or 6 of them and they keep on coming.. they are at random spots and im pretty sure these are not acne becaues i have never had zits on my actual face other than my forehead. does anyone know what this is? and how can i get rid of it?

It's actually probably acne. You may be starting to get breakouts! but don't panic. They have a ton of stuff at Wal*mart that is good face cleaning stuff that will help with that.
If it gets anymore serious, you can ask a docter when you are getting your next check up. It's nothing urgent.
If they are raised a bit, and hurt if you push on them, then its acne so follow the advice above.

If it isn't, then I'd ask your mom!

its in the middle of summer and im starting to get lonely. like i want a boyfriend so bad! i want that special someone to talk to and i want to have just someone to hold on to. i really want one badly. all my friends have boyfriends and i dont! ive never had a boyfriend or a real close guy friend. idk what to do. i really want a boyfriend. i asked this kid out but he said "no"! now i feel rejected and stupid.

Umm, well. you aren't just going to have one fall out of the sky.

You need to make better connections with guys than just ask them out right then and there. Let a friendship grow, so sorry to say, but you probably aren't going to get one right away.

I worry about everything. I worry about high school (even though my grades are fine), college, public speaking, being myself, my weight (even though I'm average according to the scale), the future, MY future, money, getting a job, you name it. Sometimes I worry so much that I cry, even if it's worrying about something like a speech I have to present in 2 days or failing college because it's too hard. My mom gets angry when I tell her about my worries and she says that I worry too much. I've seen 2 therapists and taken medication. The medication helped a tiny bit, but not much, and the therapy didn't help at all. I'm 16. What should I do?

God! He's the answer to all your troubles. If you'll just pick up a Bible and read it a bit, you'll know that he knows EVERYTHING that is going to happen, and he wouldn't put anything on you that you couldn't handle. He loves you so much, and he wants you to live for him and be worry-free! Please, just pray. If you AREN'T a Christian, then pray and ask God to come into your life and help you with it! Being able to trust in someone so great will be amazing.

But, if you ARE a Christian, than you need to trust God for the answers, and you need to pray that he will help you with the stress that you are taking on yourself. Just read the Bible everyday, memorize scripture verses about God knowing everything and that he will take care of you.

If I wanted to give myself highlites without using coloring junk or whatever, I'd use lemon juice right? Well, after I come back in, do I take a shower to get it all out or would that ruin the highlites? Thanks.

Well, my friend and I were at the beach.

We put it on our hair, laid in the sun for a while [30-1 hour] then we went swimming, then we did it again.

So, a shower would be fine, you might just need to do it a few times to get the effect you'd like.

Is there any way i can make my hair lighter without highlighting or coloring?

Before you go out in the sun, apply lemon juice to the spots you want it to be lighter. If you want it all light, then do it all over. Now, keep in mind, it's not LEMONADE it's LEMON JUICE. Sit out in the sun for a while, and come back in and take a look. Your hair should be lighter. It worked for me and my friend. Good luck.

That is a bunch of bullshit. There is no such thing as "freshman friday." They just like to scare ya'll. Don't worry. But, if your school is infact cliche, just don't worry. Don't fight it, it's not that bad.

Why is it that so many girls freak out about their boobs being too small? I see so many questions about girls who think that because they have small boobs, they won't get any guys. That is not true at all.

But that really isn't the issue, I guess. I myself have quite the chest. I'm a 38 D, and still growing somewhat. It is painful sometimes, especially around periods, and frustrating, because it is near impossible to find shirts that fit, or decent bras.

So when I see these girls who think their lives are over because they are 16 and they aren't Jessica Rabbit, it makes me angry. They have no idea what larger chested women have to deal with! To me, it seems they have it easy. They don't have to worry about aching backs, or not being able to wear a beautiful shirt or dress because it is too tight at the bust, or too loose everywhere else.

How can I keep from being so angry with them? I know that they don't understand, and I know it isn't worth fussing over, but I just can't help it.

I have the exact same problem! A ton of girls are like "OMG! Tricia you have such big boobs. Lucky!" And I'm like "HEY I'LL TRADE!" Can you say back pains?! Oh my gosh my back hurts so bad sometime just from the weight of them. I can NEVER find a decent braw EVARRRR. Shirts don't fit properly and makes me look like I'm busting out of the shirt. Girls with a small chest just jealous because they THINK that girls with big boobs get all the guys, when a lot of them could care less.

Now, the thing you need to do to keep from getting mad at them, and when you seem them groveling for tips to make their boobs look bigger, and think "Ha! They want what I've got." It might not be the most flattering way, but its true. Just keep confident about your size! Everything will be fine. Good luck on staying calm, because trust me, they get on my nerves too!

Hey :D well my eyes have always bothered me.. i have kinda darker brown eyes..sometimes they change to hazel but i wear black eyeliner and everything seems so dark! my eyes seem so boring i get so jealous of blue and green eyes (lighter eyes) because they stand out so much and are so much prettier! is there anyting i could do to make my eyes like stand out more or look prettier? ive heard about doin something with eyeshadow but im soo bad with makeup and stuff! and everytime i try to do the smokey eye or whatever it seems to make my eyes darker! by the way im 16/f! and i do not want colored contacts..i know i have to live with my eye color but i just want to know if there is anything i could do to make them stand out more??!

For one thing, I have brown eyes, and everyone comments on how gorgeous they are. Brown eyes are sexy [so ive heard from guys]. Don't get jealous of all the other girls.

If you are a dark eyed girl, you should go with natural shimmering tones. Not a lot of shimmer, just enough to notice it. Good luck & please rate.

If a pregnant woman is killed, it's considered a double homicide then why are abortions looked upon differently? I've heard things like when a pregnant woman is killed, it wasn't her choice but it is her choice in the case of an abortion. But, she isn't killing herself when it comes to abortions; she's doing it to another, developing human being. So that just doesn't make sense to me.

I agree totally! I think that everyone should have one shot at life, and when a woman gets an abortion, you are causing someone not to enjoy the things that we have. For instance, what if Ronald Regan was aborted. A lot of things today would be completely different! But, I think abortion is wrong and it is murder!

why do so many people hate emos?

Well, they are depressed *mostly* white kids that decide to pick out every problem in their life and mope about it, they cut themselves to feel like they are alive, and they are conceited. Does that sound attractive?

Not to be mean, but I don't like emo people. I like their style, I get called emo 3 times a day on average, but I just think that they need to get a life and stop moping about the world. And if you classify yourself as emo, you aren't really emo.

Hey, calm down. You start your period on average in a range between 11-16. I got mine when I was 11, I know someone who got it when they were 15. Don't worry, there is a low chance you are pregnant if you don`t have your period. It's okay. It usually happens when you reach over 100 lbs, but it`s different for some people.

My skin used to be soft and smooth like last year, and just since this year it has changed. My face is bumpy and irritated. I don't have bad acne... Just you can see the pores on my nose and chin. And on my temples and forehead, I have pimples.. When I take a shower, the next morning they are back but just in different places. I've used EVERY single product on Earth. Anybody have any ideas? Also, is it healthy to wash your face more than once/twice times a day?

I have used Differen & Proactive, andt they`ve both worked for me. I used to have A TON of acne, but if you look at my picture on my column now, it`s gone. Swiss Ives helps a great deal as well. Good luck

mom is a A-cup, but my sister is a C-cup.

Oh my goodness! You`re 15! You do NOT need breast implants. That is a stupid thought to be thinking about at this age. Unless you want a guy that loves your body and not you, then you shouldn`t worry, because your breast size doesn`t affect the nice guys. You aren`t too old to have a boyfriend. I`m 13 and I dont`t even THINK about boyfriends, even though I like them. It`s not your breast size that is affecting your love life, its something ELSE.
