20/f I usually get my period sometime at the end of the month (it's a little irregular). Whenever I get a brownish discharge I know it's going to be here that day, but I had it for two days then it went away and I'm back to clear. I have other symptoms like moodyness and some cramps and sore boobs but does anyone know if that is normal? I have no idea why I haven't gotten my period yet! thanks. (link)
|
There are countless reasons why you could miss your period or why it might be there for only a short time. Being active, stress etc. Are you sexually active at all? Because that could mean pregnancy, although not always. I would suggest seeing a doctor just to make sure everything is alright. It could be something really small and simple. Better safe then sorry right?
Hope I could help and good luck :) xo

Hi I had sex with my bf when my periods were due .. we used condoms for protection and he even cummed outside just for extra protection. However .. it has been 2 months since i got my last periods ... I was scared that i was pregnant so i took a pregnancy test 10 days after we had sex and it showed that i am not pregnant!
recently mom wants to take me to the doctor to get it checked but m freaking out like hell .. can i possibly be pregnant!
i recently started exercising, i eat normal, i dont have any morning sickness nor do my chest feels weird! Could i possibly be pregnant?? (link)
|
To me, it doesn't sound like you are pregnant with all the precautions you took, but remember condoms aren't always 100% the best protection.
You said you recently started to exercise? That could be the problem too! I excersice a lot, and girl who usually do, will have irregular periods, especially during timew when you're being active a lot. So that could be one possible solution.
Have you been stressing or nervous about something lately? This also plays another factor, don't know the exact reason why, but it could cause irregular periods.
I've not had my period for 2 months before, and by the 3rd month, everything was back to normal, so don't freak out too much. Let your mom take you to the doctor, and see wha happens. Better safe then sorry right? You might not be pregnant due to the fact that many things can cause you to miss a period.
Hope I could help and good luck :) xo

So i have a HUGE crush on this boy and iv had it for two years now and he still doesnt notice me. I think its because im un-attractive, iv never liked my body and im a total tomboy so i usually wear a jumper and jeans and all my friends wear like mini skirts and belly tops. I look like such an idiot, im dark skinned (brown) wear glasses and im not really fat but abit chubby and i hav frizzy hair tats brown but looks like it black... i hate my body and how can i m
ake my self look more attractive but not in a slutty way. (link)

How can someone love you if you don't love yourself? I've bet you've heard that before? Well it's a very true statement. If you aren't comfortable with yourself, and don't have confidence, then other people might not either.
I understand the whole situation about fitting in to look as good as your friends. Trust me, I've been there, and sometimes it still happens to me. You don't need to wear what they wear to be 'attractive'. If you want to dress like a tomboy, then make it work. Maybe not too much boy though. Sometimes guys don't like that, but if you don't want to dress girly, be the best tomboy you can be!
If your hair is frizzy, take a bit more time to do it in the morning. Get some new hair products that work with frizz possibly? Gel? That problem can be fixed easily.
The glasses aren't really a problem at all. There are really attractive people who wear glasses, but if you really want to change that, ask your mom to get you some contacts.
And finally you said you weren't fat, but chubby. You can just maintain a good diet and excersice.
Overall, you need to love the way you are or no one else will. And if you have to change a few things, that is okay. All girls go through this sort of phase. And if you change and he still doesn't notice, you might have to accept that he's not interested, sadly.
Hope I could help, and good luck :) xo

How many tampons should I use a day? I heard you're supposed to take it out after two hours instead of what it says on the pack, but it hurts every time I take one out. I also wanted to know, will it ever stop hurting? I mean, a tampon usually feels ok going in, and I didn't even feel it when I used it, but when I took it out, it really hurt! I'd use pads all the time if I could, but since it's summer (and my family goes to the beach a lot) if I don't go in the water, it'll be really embarassing having to tell everyone I'm on my period. I hope you can help! (link)
|
If it hurts taking it out, it means it hasn't absorbed enough yet. It might be a bit dry still. You may not have a heavy flow, so replacing it every 2 hours might be a bit too soon. Is it usually mostly white when you take it out? You may also be using the wrong type of tampon. If you have a light flow, only use light flow tampons, medium flow, use medium flow tampons and so on. Your method of removing it might also be the cause. You have to remove it on the same angle you put it in.
Hope I could help :) x

Thanks a lot for the advice. I don't really like to go out on hikes that often. I'm not really a runner either. Is there anything else that I could do? Oh, by the way, I am 5 foot 4 inches. I'm kindof tall for my age. (link)

What I suggest is to look online or maybe YouTube for exersices you can do with household items. No cost (depending) and you get to do it in the comfort of your own home, and they're really effective. :) If you have any other question feel free to ask. Let me know how you're doing once and awhile.

What do you do when you're completely, utterly, blindingly, confusingly, mesmerizingly, and inexcusably in love with a man? Do you tell him? Is it a bad idea? What if it's the only person you have ever even had the smallest crush on? How would you get over it if they rudely rejected you? What about if they unexpectedly have admired you from afar forever and you never noticed because you were too busy thinking about when the perfect moment would be? How do you manage something like this? Someone please help, my heart hurts. He's too perfect for me. I want him to know but at the same time I can't get over it! This has been going on for the past 5 months. Please help my heart aches (link)
|
You've heard of 'you never know unless you try' right? Well that's exactly what you have to do. You can either sit there with all these feelings and let it eat you alive, or you can tell him how you feel and maybe he'll feel the same way.
I don't know whether on not what you're feeling is actually love, because everyone's definition is slightly different, but if you don't think you should tell him, maybe you should wait. Depending on circumstances you may have rushed into 'love' too fast and telling him might freak him out.
So basically if you think you're ready, tell him or these feelings will drive you crazy. But if you can control these feelings, maybe you should wait. Get to know him more, and maybe try and make him fall for you as well.
Hope I helped, and good luck :) x

I need to lose weight really badly. I am 13 years old, and I weigh about 145-147 ish pounds. please tell me what to do. I sometmes get up and go walking in the morning, and i am eating a lot better, but i am not losing the weight. please help!!! (link)
|
I don't know exactly what your height is to know whether or not you're at a good weight. But you said you want to lose weight so I'll give you some advice.
You have to be patient. Losing weight takes time and patience. You mention you go for walks? Maybe try biking or going on hikes? Running or some sports? Even swimming works.
And make sure you continue to eat healthy, as this will help keep the weight off. Make sure you stay determined and continue this daily. Rewarding yourself now and then will be self encouraging as well.
Hope I could help and good luck :) x

do anyone else get horny reading all these sex questions? (link)

These is a weird question, but it's pretty normal to get 'turned on' by reading questions realated to sex. Sometimes you may get visual that turn you on, etc. It's totally normal so don't worry.
Hope I could somewhat help. :) x

I am attracted to a friend at work. We are both female and in our teens .we kinda firlt a lot we hold hands touch each other. She even send text calling me sexy.I like this girl. How can I know if she is attraced to me also without arising her suspicion about me attracted to her.there is this other girl at work I saw she holding her hand a day too and I got vex (link)
|
For one thing, why don't you want her to know if you like her?
Just send her a text. Asking if she has any feelings for you at all because she's giving you mixed signals. She might get suspiscious, but she might not. Don't say you like her till you get an answer. If she says yes, then go for it. If she says no, that's okay. Bisexual/lesbian girls like to flirt a lot so try not to get mad. But remember, you don't know anything unless you try.
Hope I could help and good luck :) x

hi
i am female and currently in community college. it will be my second year this fall however, i am really excited to transfer out into a good school. i truly feel that i will excel in the entertainment industry and in the modeling industry. not as an entertainer or a model or an actress but in the actual business. more behind the scene type of thing. like a model scout, or working for a TV company etc.
i am not a ame hungry person- i am extremely knowledgeable in both areas and would love for someone to direct me to colleges and universities that offer something like this,
than you so much,
(link)
|
I am sorry to say, but this is not a very good question. For one thing you didn't provide your location. How are people suppose to find colleges that offer that stuff if they don't know where you live? And another thing, you need to take the initative and look for yourself.
People can only provide advice, not do the work for you. Look online. I'm sure there are many different colleges in your area that offer that sort of stuff, you just got to do some research.
Once you find a couple, compare them based on your needs, budget etc.
Hope I could help and good luck :) x

I don't understand. I'm a black girl myself, and 'nappy' just means "(of a black person's hair) Frizzy". What is so negative about saying that it's frizzy? I do have frizzy hair. It's not relaxed with dangerous chemicals or anything. Other adjectives to describe my hair are 'kinky' and 'coily'. Are the people who see these terms as negative just ashamed of their natural hair? To me, a term like 'nappy' is just as negative as saying hair is curly, straight, or wavy.
It doesn't matter if the person who refers to my hair as nappy isn't black. Why would I get offended, when it's not a bad term? And if someone tried to use the term negatively, I would just laugh, because there's nothing negative about it. An actual negative term is something like the N word, something I think nobody should say, especially black people, since it's "A contemptuous term for a black or dark-skinned person". even if another black person called me that, I'd take it negatively, because I don't think anyone should go around saying derogatory racial terms (link)
|
First of all, you aren't really getting the meaning of nappy. It doesn't mean frizzy or just how. A black person's hair is. Nappy to any race, but usually blacks mean unkept. Untidy. Knotted up etc.
I am a black female, and my hair isn't relaxed, but it's not nappy either. I comb it out and ofc it doesn't go smooth, that's because it's a different texture and thickness. Now if you can't get your comb in or it looks like a bird's nest, that's nappy.
So it's an insult because you're basically saying that you don't take care of your hair. That's what nappy means. Not the texture or thickness.
Hope I could help :) x

so i have stubby nails cause i have a habbit to bite them. i have my prom coming up and i want to get fake nails from the salon. idk which one is better full acrylic or tips. i need help ASAP i have a week till i get them done. oh and i need to noe the cost. thankk xoxo (link)
|
I have the same nail problem as you. I never used to bite my nails, but now I do. A lot. As much as natural nails look the best, if you want to get fake nails for such an occasion, that's alright. I would suggest going with tips. Looks classy and more natural and will go with any dress style. But of course it's up to you. Whatever you think will look best, do it! It's your prom!
Hope I could help and good luck :) x oh, and have a great prom!

I am scared that I am going to fail my drivers test end of the month (link)
|
This is not a question, more like a statement.
If you're scared you are going to fail, STUDY! That's all you can do. Make sure you go over the stuff you don't know very well and make sure you know everything. Even litttle details just incase. I go for my driver's test soon, and some of my friends have already went. They were all scared at first, but then after, they said it was a piece of cake. Just have confidence in yourself, and make sure you know your stuff.
Hope I could help, and good luck :) x

See, all the girls at my school -from what I can see- have pretty large busts. All my friends do. Except for me. Even my little sister is is reaching B cup, if she isn't already -she's 11- I'm 16 and just recently my mom bought me a B cup bra. At first I didn't even notice until we went to a pool... Shoot I felt like just putting on a shirt. My bikinis always have filling so that is doesn't show my breast's actual form -which kind of like a cone really. The nipple and aureola are bigger than the rest except when I'm cold.
Anyhow, ever since then I've felt uncomfortable wearing little clothing. I started to feel a bit better when I realized there was a lot of trouble I was saving myself but.. I have this friend of mine Danielle. We always get into silly little fights and throw remarks at each other but I never take anything personal. Except this one time when he called me a washboard. :( I didn't show it then very much but it hurt. Especially when it comes from a boy. Afterwards Alejandro asked me why I got mad at him. Turns out I'm always cheerful but without noticing I got gloomy.
Ever since I always compare myself to other girls, not just in school but also on TV and anime -where everysingle girl has C or highr cup. I don't want to feel bad about myself, it's almost like it's a reflex now :( what can I do to make myself feel better? (link)
|
I just answered this question. You're the same person right? Take my advice from my other reply.
Ignore it, and they'll stop. Who cares? You'll have your time when your boobs will grow, but for now, learn to deal with it.
:) x
|
I have cone-like breast that are no more than a B cup. Every other girl -younger than me even- have a larger bust than me. At first I just told myself that I had less problems than other girls but then this friend of mine called me a washboard.. We always have little, silly fights but that was the one and only time it has ever hurt me. I feel uncomfortable wearing little clothing in fear of being ridiculed. Like my bra falling of or something. -Also I can't swim so I always take that as an excuse for not going to pool parties. (link)

Oh, tha brest size problem. It would have been helpful to know your age. I am 15 and my size is 34 B. Not totally small, but. Not that big either. And trust me, it took long to get to this size. I used to be so flat chested in elementary school. Sure people would make fun, but I learned to ignore it. One of my friend's is 16 with an A cup, and she accepts it.
Girls with bigger boobs actually don't like it. Some of my friends have big boobs and say it's uncomfortable or even have to wear a bra and a sport bra to keep it all in. They hurt when your running during sports, and hurts your back, so small boobs do have advantages.
Just learn to ignore it. Who cares what size your boobs are? Wear the clothes you want to, and don't mind what anyone has to say. If they say "your boobs are so small!" Sya, "yeah, I know" and laugh it off. People will say stuff knowing it hurts or annoys you, but if you show them you don't care, they's stop too.
So all in all, there is nothing you can do about it unless you buy a push up bra for an extra boost. Small boobs are great. Embrace them, love em. ;P
Hope I could help and good luck :) x

Okay, so I've been engaged for about 8 months. My fiance and I have been together for almost two years. Lately, I've developed trust issues with my fiance and I feel as if I'm losing a lot of our connection, and it hurts a lot. My fiance's best friend, who is one of my closest friends as well, has been there for me, and when we all go out together, I feel like I don't even want my fiance there. I think I'm developing feelings for my fiance's best friend. It sucks because I know we could never be together, and I'm still in love with my fiance, but I also have feelings for our friend. I'm so confused, I don't know how to handle this! Help? Please and thank you! (link)

Things like this happen all the time. When things are going on between the one you love, you automatically look for someone who kind of 'takes his place'. It's not wrong, but can potentially mess things up if you aren't careful.
Now you say you think you have feelings for your finace's best friend right? Well you only think. This kind of feeling will usually happen if you have something going onbetween the one you really love because the friend offer support and whatnot.
The only advice I can give on this matter is try to talk to your finace. Talking it out will knock down barriers and maybe you guys can come to a solution. Meanwhile, try not to get attached to his friend. This could be bad if you start to really fall for him and he can't be with you. Many people could be hurt in the end.
Hope I could help and good luck. :)x

Well i used to like this guy and lets say that we 'dated'...then he started going out with my best friend...they hurt me really bad and now they arent together anymore..it happened over a game of spin the bottle...the guy was really sad when they broke up and he didnt talk to a lot of people about it.. although it wanted them to break up i didnt want it to be like this..He talks to me about it and my 'best friend' talks to me about it too... no matter how much i try my best friend(female) wont take him back...her ex(my old crush/'boyfriend') was really sad, he even cired.. the girl cried too but for totally different reasons.. i know this is long and i am sorry but that wasnt even the end..What should i do?? they both really trust me now that this has happened..I dont wanna be mean and drop them both in the dirt but i dont wanna help them because i feel they will get back together...so what should i do??
(link)
|
All you can really do is be there for both of them. Talk it out like you do, offer support and uplifting encouragement to get them back on their feet. I've been through situations like this, helping two friends. But in a worse way. And sometimes it's not always about you. The two friends I was helping, I had a crush on the girl. (Yes I am bisexual) and even though I had a chance to be with her, I made sure she worked it out with the guy she liked. I just thought "well if me and her are meant to be, it will happen, but for now, it won't." And that's what you have to do. If you can get them back together you're making 2 people happy. And if they don't get back together, that's alright too. Just make sure you aren't doing this for yourself, but for your friends.
Hope I cold help and good luck :) x

Ok so 14/f and Im dissapointed in myself and my body. Im 110 lbs and I want to loose weight and my stomach isnt the sexiest :/ I want to have a flat looking stomach and I want to loose 10 lbs. How can I do this, I want that to be my accomplishment over the summer, advice? (link)
|
This is such a common problem for girls. I am 15 and weigh about 100lbs and I have a flat stomach. You know how I get this? Excersice and healthy eating. That's all you can do.
During the summer try and find places to get some excersice. Whether it's a gym, going for a hike, biking, swimming, or you can even do excersices at your local park. I do it all the time! Look online for excersices that can help give you a flatter stomach as that is your main focus. Or, try making up some of your own. Sit ups are a great one, and there are tons more, you just got to research.
And then the next component is eating healthy. I know it's hard in the summer cause you eat when you feel like it, and there is ice cream and all that, but you can still eat those. Just in moderation. Try to incorporate all or most of the food groups in every meal, and even snack can be healthy. Carrot stick, apples etc. And then you can reward yourself at different parts of the day. Ex. You can have 3 treats at 3 different times of the day. Morning, afternoon and night.
Just follow this advice and look online for other tips. Make sure to stay determined and focused.
Hope I could help and good luck :) x

So my family is going swimming this Sunday and I just got my period on Thursday. It usually lasts 5 days but I need it to go away before or on Sunday so I can swim and everything without having to feel uncomfortable also because there is no way for me to change a tampon or anything all day! Also this can't invole using birth control pills please because I'm only 13 almost 14. (link)
|
I'm sorry to say, but there isn't really any way to stop your period. It will take its course by itself. Birth control doesn't make it go away, but merely helps with cramps and better flow etc. Why don't you just wear a tampon? It won't feel weird, you just make sure it's in securely and there you go. Swimming will actually help stop the flow of your period. And then when you're done swimming, simply go to a washroom and change it. There are no other solutions.
Hope I could help and good luck :) x

i need help finding a guy who likes me ( i am a tomboy). (link)
|
You did not add very much detail to this question, so I can only help you so much. Your age might have been helpful as well.
So you're a tomboy. So am I. But do you dress like a guy? Baggy clothes? Guy clothes and hats? Or do you look like an average girl? If you dress like a guy, that might be your first problem. Most guys don't like it to feel like they're dating another guy, so maybe change your appearance. You can still be a tomboy without looking like a boy. Tighter clothes, clothes with colour, good smelling perfume etc. If you do dress like a girl, then here's my next tip.
Do you act like a guy? If so, change that up a bit. Don't be overly agressive. Guys don't like that. Be cute, flirt a little etc. You don't want him top be scared away. If you do act like a girl, then here's my next tip.
If you apply to all of those things above, then you just need to wait until the right guy comes along. And if you don't apply to the things above and don't wanna change, then you still must wait. He'll come along soon. Be patient.
Hope I coulg help and good luck! :) x
