Hi, I'm Lorelei. I live with my mother, my older sister and my grandmother.
I travel a lot but I'm never a tourist. ;) My mother owns property all over the country and I'm extremely lucky to feel at home in so many different places. It's a lot of fun and I get to see a lot of things and meet a lot of people.
Shopping always seems to be better away from home too.
I'm very fashion-minded and stylish, spontaneous and energetic, dorky and giggly. I enjoy having a good time. Almost too much. I party every chance I get. I do drink but I do so responsibly and you should too.
I'm very young but the year 2003 caused me to learn more about who I am than some people get to learn about themselves in an entire lifetime. Ever since I've made it a point to share what I've learned with everyone possible. Ask and I'll do my best to answer.

I was trying to download the try and buy version of photoshop, but in the beginning of the download it asked me to insert a disc to continue with the downloading process. I tried to click cancel but then it just cancelled the whole installation. Any ideas on how to get past that part without needing a disc?

If this is a trial you downloaded then you shouldn't need a disc. You are not installing what you think you are.

i was in love with this girl very very much so, and one day she litterally disappeared...this was back in jan 2005 and i havent heard from her since, i cant get her out of my head, but everyday im looking for her to at least make sure she's ok..or something at least..her name was christie but i called her princess :p..but i have no idea what to do, i dont sleep much cuz im always up looking for her...she even moved colleges from what i can tell...but not sure to where...she went to arizona state university but i think she's in the university of nebraska..what do i do?

It sounds like she went through a lot of trouble to start over, if you ask me.
As much as it may hurt, it's probably best to let her be.
If she cares about you the way you care about her, she will contact you when she is ready.

Alright, so there's this guy in my class, that I really really like. I've liked him for a while now, but I've always been too afraid to say anything to him.
The other day in class, kids from other classes were passing around questionaires for data and whatnot. Well, one of them was about sexuality. My friend had told me that she figured he was gay, because, he's got great style, he's got a gentle voice, he's an amazing artist, (I know, I'm stereo typing), and he's just interesting and whatnot. So, I was watching him as he filled the survey out, because I was kinda curious. The first part of the survey was like this:
"What's your sexuality?"
a)Straight
b)Homosexual
c)Bisexual

If you answered a, then continue on to questions 2-10. If you answered b or c, then continue on to 11-16.

11 and 16 were on the back, and he filled it out on the back. I have no problem with him being gay, but it's just that I always seem to fall for gay boys, and it feels like I'll never find a cool, straight, guy.

I personally wouldn't want to date someone who's bisexual, not because I have anything against bisexuals (a couple of my close friends are) but it would be weird dating one, because it's bad enough thinking that a guys comparing you to other girls, but to other guys? That would just be uncomfortable.

Am I being stupid? Should I just forget about him? I really would just like being friends with him, but it's impossible to talk to him because he's so shy. Please help.

In any case, you should let him know that you're there if he ever wants someone to talk to. Don't push friendship on him, but try saying hi when you see him even if it doesn't seem like a conversation will come of it. Make small talk and things like that.
If he turns out to be gay, you'll have a new friend which is always awesome. :)
If he's bisexual and you like him enough, you should be able to look past the fact that he's also interested in guys. If you really like someone, you should be able to accept who they are, right?
Plus, if someone's comparing you to past significant others, whether they are straight or bisexual, it isn't fair to you.

Being yourself is the best way to find a guy. If there is someone in particular that you like, don't necessarily play the part of the submissive. Let him know that you're interested in him and would like to give dating a try.
Self-confidence is also important. You don't necessarily have to be outspoken or brash (shyness can be cute) but always put your best foot forward.

I was just wondering how you're so tan? Do you do mystic tanning (if so, how much does it cost?) or go to the tanning bed? Thanks! You're so pretty.

I do use Mystic Tan. Mystic Tan Plus, in fact. Where I go, it's $30 for 1 session, $75 for 3 sessions (that's what i do) or $200 for 10 sessions.

No, it's okay. :)
I have indeed had sex before. My first time was with my boyfriend on our one-year anniversary last year. I felt ready to do it and so I did.

We only did it about 4 or 5 times over the course of the next 6 months. We're no longer together but I don't regret it at all.

i have a question i developed like this bumps on my private area and i dont kno what they came from. At first i thought it was razor bumps but they have been there for like 2 months and the their is one bump that is like the size of a dime and i don't kno what it is or how i got it do i have aids or something ???

You probably don't have AIDS. If you did, you'd probably have more than some bumps to worry about. It could be irritation from soap or shaving cream. Or, if you use feminine deodorant, that could be what's causing it as well.

Try changing your soap. Perfumed soaps are a bad idea. Stick to Zest or something and rinse very thoroughly. In fact, avoid anything too "perfume-y". That includes scented pantiliners, deodorant spray or anything else like that.

If the bumps don't go away, see your doctor.

I read in one of your older questions that you've tried multiple forms of birth control. Which kinds have you tried and what do you think of them?

First, I tried the pill.
It worked well and everything, but I had trouble taking it at the same time every single day. I'm not one for commitment.

Then I tried the patch. That was back when it was brand new. I didn't like it much at all. No matter where I wore it, it got all gross from my clothes. And it looks horrible! Plus, it was so strong, it caused me to skip periods. Not cool.

The ring, what I use now, is perfect. It's called the NuvaRing. It's about maybe 2 inches wide and it looks just like a clear jelly bracelet. You wear it inside of your vagina for 3 weeks and take it out the week of your cycle. You can't feel it while it's inside and it releases just the right amount of medicine.

i straighten my hair every morning, and like an hour later it just goes back to being wavy. --i have a CHI straightner--

is there anything i can do to make it stay straight all day?

and is there anyway for me to be able to put it like in a ponytail for athletics and then take it down and have it still be straight?

It sounds to me like your enemy is moisture.
Frizz-Ease has a hair spray that will repel moisture and keep your hair straight longer.
As far as ponytails that don't leave that horrible crease, just try using a scrunchy rather than a regular hair tie.

when someone calls you on your cell phone and it says "ID restricted" is there any way to find out who it is? cause sometimes i get prank calls. Like if you called the operator would they tell you.

Call your telephone company and tell them. They can tell you who's calling you privately.

Ok I've kinda got two questions that relate to the same thing. The first one is, I'm 12 and I got my period for the 1st time January 3rd and now it's the 31st and I'm supposed to get it today but they're are no signs of it so is that normal? and the other question is when you use a tampon, how far are you supposed to stick it up there? thanks your really pretty to!

First, thank you. :)

Second, periods, though they feel like they should, don't always run like clockwork. It could be a full month before you see your period again. Mine runs more like every 30-32 days than every 28. And as you get older, your period will begin to really regulate.

As far as tampons, the applicator should have a finger grip on it. Insert the applicator up to your fingers, then push the tampon in. Try and hold the applicator steady so that it doesn't push itself out.

Hey! I was wondering if anyone knows of any cheats for The Sims 2.

I know that Kaching gives you $1000
but is there anything that you can type after that to get more than $1000?

and I know that on the Regular Sims You can Type in "Move_objects on"

and then you can delete people and then they have everything to green, like everything is perfect, on the sims 2, the people dont come back, its wierd, so i was wondering if there is a cheat similar to that for the sims2 that you can use to delete people, but then they come back with everything all green

I need a lot of money to get a god straightner because my hair is extremely FRIZZY!!! What are some ways to earn $$$? Or some hairstyles for FRIZZY PEOPLE??

You can get a good ceramic straightener for about $40 dollars online, you know.

You can try rinsing your hair in REALLY cold water after you shampoo. And as a deep conditioner, mix one egg to one part mayo and one part olive oil. Make a thick paste, apply it to your hair and wrap it in a towel or put a plastic cap on for about 20-30 minutes and then rinse and shampoo it out. It should help a lot.

Try adding more protein and carbs to your diet. Breads, pasta, meat and certain vegetables. Also, weight training is a good way to add mass to your body without necessarily gaining fat.

There's absolutely no rush to wear make-up. Really. She's only 14, anyway. What is the purpose to wearing make-up when you're 14?

Honestly, I don't see the purpose in creating friction between your friends and her parents over something as silly as make-up. If they don't want her wearing make-up, I'm sure there's a very good reason and that should be respected.

I want to get a cell phone. My mom says if I can pay for it I can get one. Where can I get a inexpensive pre-paid flip phone? Right now I have like $30-$35 dollars. I know that isn't enough but I'm going to keep saving.

U.S. Cellular and Verizon have good pre-paid deals. My first cell phone was a Virgin Mobile phone, but that doesn't come with unlimited nights or weekends.
