so i generally go by erin. i'm probably 19 years old. i hate my birthday. i go to penn state mckeesport, and i'm majoring in meteorology. i work at a freaking pizza hut. and i like the colors blue and green. so here's the deal. i would like to describe myself as mature, but that's hardly the truth. i love laughing and making others laugh. i'm random. i'm sarcastic. you'll think i'm crazy the first time you meet me, but i promise you'll learn to love me. i live for partying with friends and gettin a little crazy. i don't care what you think about me. i'm not afraid to be honest. if it hurts your feelings somewhere along the way, oh-well. i really hate when people tell me what i can or can't do. i hate asking for help. i'm pretty independent. i have serious trust issues. i don't know why, and i can't help it. i overthink things and worry too much, yet manage to be too impulsive at times. i have OCD. and i'm a perfectionist. it doesn't take much to make me upset. sometimes i cry for no reason. then i laugh about it, cause i'm so stupid sometimes. i trip a lot. get used to it. i can play the piano like a fiend. i have to sniff everything. i'm easy-going and hate making decisions. i love to stand outside in thunderstorms, until someone has to pull me back inside. i'm really addicted to mountain dew. i'm a huge sucker for a guy with a guitar. i'm probably too nice for my own good. and one last thing. u will never hear me scrape my fork against my plate. ever.

I have the cherry chocolate lol. I don't think there's really a way. I've tried making a video of the song and sending it to myself. Cause you know when you get pix,flix, or a sound in your inbox, you have the option to save it as your ringtone? I tried that, but I couldn't send it, cause the song was too long, it said something like, size exceeds the limit. But if you want free ringtones, this is what I use. I just discovered it and it's awesome.

i cannnotttt fall asleep as hard as i try, ive tried music, ive tried warm drinks, ive tried reading, watching tv, I CANT GO TO SLEEP!its driving me crazzzzzy i lay in my bed for at LEAST 3 hours. then finally fall asleep, does anyone know anyways you have tried falling asleep and it worked? THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Hahah I've got the same stupid problem. There are a few things that I've done that work, but not all the time. You could try laying in bed and just think about something. Like the next day or even create your own story. Listen to music at the same time, but keep it down. That USUALLY helps me, but like I said, not all the time. You could also try exercizing before bed, but like a half hour or an hour beforehand. Don't eat a large meal or have caffeine at least 2 hours beforehand. Also, set your alarm to get up early, like 8 or 9 am. You'll probably be tired, but if you force yourself to get up, you'll most likely be tired by the time you go to bed. If those things don't work, it's ok to watch tv or go on the computer for a bit, but no longer than a half hour. And if all else fails, you could always try nyquil or something of the sort to help you. But if you decide to do that, make sure it's not every night, and only when you really need it.

Maybe, but in most cases, no, because the book has all the details that the movie might not be able to put in. You would probably get more out of the book than the movie.

I was playing volleyball and when i jumped to spike, i came back down on my ankle and it gave out. I fell to the ground and i could barely walk. That was last night, and today it still hurts and i was walking on it a lot. Which i know i shouldnt be. But, I have vacation in excatly 7 days. Will it be better by then?

You should be fine by then. But try resting it AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. No walking around when unnecessary. Put ice on it to keep the swelling down. And wrapping it in an ACE bandage or a brace should help it heal faster. You could also take painkillers if it's still hurting you.

I realize my parents are getting older, and it scares me to no end. My parents haven't smoked for years but they used to, my dad needs knee surgery but won't get it and they both get very little exercise. My mom walks a lot, but my dad really doesn't do anything. Every time we go out, I can't help but worry that something might happen to them.

Everytime I think of something happening to them, which is everyday, I just start crying. I haven't even seen another teenager for the last two weeks because I have been spending everyday with my parents. I take as much time as I can to be with them but it never feels like enough. I'm so scared for them and it makes me so emotional.

Please help me find a way to cope with this, thanks. The one thing is, I will never talk to them about it or go to a therapist. If that was what you wanted to tell me, sorry in advance.

I kinda know how you feel. My mom is soon-to-be 51 and my dad is 54. I'm 18. Every now and then, I worry about them like you. There's not that much you can do for your dad, except keep on his case about the surgery. I know they seem old, but not really. They probably still have 20+ years ahead of them if they really try to take care of themselves. You should enjoy your time with them, but don't forget about your friends. Like the person below me said, you could balance your schedule to hang out with both your parents and friends. Another thing you could do is talk to them about how you feel. I know you said you wouldn't, but I think it would really help. No need to see a therapist about it. But you should tell them how you feel. Believe me, you'll feel a lot better about it. And remember, they're not that old yet hahah, just enjoy the time you have with them. :]

So, its my birthday, on july 20th. and i'm super excited. I guess. I mean i'm not having a party this year, and so my mom says i can get whateverrr i wanntt. like anythinggg.

I was on a website and I posted a picture of me and asked for opinions on what people thought of it. I'm the type of person who can handle any and all opinions no matter how nasty they are.

A girl posted a reply to my question saying I looked fake and I was trying to be "hardxcore." I sent her the following message to let her know a little about me and explain to her that I'm not fake.

Here's the message:

"I'm not trying to sound rude or anything, but I don't think you should be calling someone fake unless you know for sure they are. Like I said in response to your post, I've dyed my hair like that WAY before any other girl did, I actually started around the 6th grade and I'm now a senior in highschool. I didn't START the trend, I know, but I did start it in MY school. I live in a small country town where no one even knows the latest trends until they go out of style. Other girls started to copy me, that's why I dyed my hair one solid color so I WOULDN'T be called fake. I'm also not a "poser" like other girls are, thinking they're "hxc" and all, I don't think I am at all. I know that I'm more outgoing and daring than other girls, but I don't give myself that label. Like I said before, I wasn't trying to be rude I was just letting you know a little about myself to let you know I'm not "fake" like those other girls. I'm actually probably the most "real" person you'll ever meet, to be honest with you."


She then went on to post a really nasty comment on the message boards saying I was a b*tch and that I couldn't handle anyone's opinion and that I should get off the site. She was the ONLY person I sent a message to even though there were comments that were 20 times worse than hers.

Did I sound like I was trying to be rude and do you think she should have reacted that way? I just wanted to explain myself to her.

Is there any way, i can get free ringtones on it?
Because you can't record a song and make it a ring tone like my previous phones.

I have the same phone and there is a way to record a sound and make it a ringtone. What you have to do is record it and then text the sound to yourself [you can do this, i've tried]. Then when you receive the message, touch options and from there, you have the option to make it a ringtone! Let me know if it works, it should! :]

How can i break bad habits?? i'm trying this summer, to really cut back, on just laying around, and i've regualtated yoga & running into my daily ruotine, and i'm also an active dancer. I dance about 6 days a week during the school year. During the summer, i tend to loose everything, by just hanging out, yeah its nice to have sometime to myself for once, but i don't like just being lazy all the time. Any tips on how to stay fit and heathly, mind, body, & soul this summer??
