I was playing volleyball and when i jumped to spike, i came back down on my ankle and it gave out. I fell to the ground and i could barely walk. That was last night, and today it still hurts and i was walking on it a lot. Which i know i shouldnt be. But, I have vacation in excatly 7 days. Will it be better by then?
it's very good for any sport so that you don't twist your ankles. But make sure that you do ankle exercises too because this can make your ankles weaker.

Put ice on it to keep the swelling down. And wrapping it in an ACE bandage or a brace should help it heal faster. You could also take painkillers if it's still hurting you.
chloekc answered Saturday July 14 2007, 3:35 pm: Yeah it should be, i did that all the time when i used to play netball, as long as it isn't too severly sprained and you treat it right it should be fine. It's good that you have been able to walk on it even if it hurts a bit because sometimes i couldn't even walk the next day because it hurt so badly. As long as you take it easy and don't go and make it worse it should be fine:)
KellyHappy answered Saturday July 14 2007, 3:32 pm: not if you keep walking on it.
what you need to do, is keep teh swelling down.
keep it high up, like above your heart, lay on a couch or something and put it up on pillows or an arm rest.
then put ice on it, keep it cold, making it cold will make it become more compact. its just the laws of physics.
so do that, and it MIGHT be better.
but it may not be. you never know. [ KellyHappy's advice column | Ask KellyHappy A Question ]
