Me and my sister have never gotten along, but lately weve started to be more civil to each other. I am 27 and she is 23. She still lives with our mother.She recently told me that she quit her job, which sort of surprised me.
Well I'm really worried about something that I did. My dad (who is divorced from our mom)phoned me about two weeks ago and asked me how my new job was going. I told him that I was getting lots of hours and that I liked it.
Well then I mentioned to my dad that my sister should apply at the store I'm working at because she just quit her job. Then my dad said"WHAT"? I then said, "what, didnt' you know"? He was really mad and said "why the hell would she quit her job before finding another one"?
I told him to please not say anything to her.
I recently talked to my sister and she asked me if I told our dad she quit her job. I lied and said no, then she said she didnt want him to find out.
I did a really shitty thing but it wasnt really my fault, I didnt know I wasnt supposed to say anything. I'm really worried she will find out it was me that spilled the beans, how can I ever make it up to her? I already bought her a nice Xmas gift but don't think thats enough. (link)

I know this seems like the last thing you'd ever want to do, but if she does find out that you lied to her about telling him, she's going to be even more pissed off..You just need to come out and tell her, and apologize to her. Keeping it a secret is worse because eventually she will find out about it.

hey well my ex b/f broke up with me like a month and a half ago and i still like him...the only reason we broke up is b/c of the distance of where we live. i know nothing can happen between us b/c of this but i just want to know if he still likes me like i still like him. should i tell him i like him next time i talk to him? i have a feeling if i told him he might tell me how he felt...what should i do???????? i'll rate high for no smart answers!!!

I'm going to be blunt with you. He obviously isn't mature enough to even try to make a long distance relationship work. Since distance is the problem, you should find someone closer to you. You shouldn't be dwelling on him. He wasn't able to commit to that, so you should move on honey.

I'm 13 and about to audition for a musical. We're supposed to prepare a song and a monologue. I've gone through an array of broadway songs. Finally, I listened to "Wishing You Were Somehow Hear Again" from the Phantom of the Opera. It's beautiful! But before I get the sheet music, I need to know; is it a difficult piece? Vocally demanding? I'm in a very advanced chorus, which means that I can sing a lot, but there's no real way of telling whether this song is too overreaching or not just by listening, you know? If anyone has had any experience with this piece, could I have a few tips?
And PLEASE do not say "go see a vocal teacher/go take a voice lesson/idk lol hope i helped." Even though I'm in an advanced chorus, I can't afford a voice lesson. I know that puts me at a disadvantage, but that's JUST LIFE.

Well, I'm not going to lie....but that is truly a really demanding song. But if you really have a good voice and are in advanced choir..shouldn't be a problem.

Wow honey. Don't go by what this teacher is saying. you need to go get checked out. Seriously, if you can't go to a doctor, go to Planned Parenthood. If you know you're not pregnant, then you can go to your regular doctor....maybe you're just dizzy a lot... It could be as simple as that, but don't go by what some teacher tells you.

For people who tend to get cold sores -what works best for you?? I have one now and i have dealt with them all of my life and i need something that works fairly fast becuase I have school tomorrow! And i hate the feeling of everyone always looking at me and this weird, nasty, crusty, bubbly, -um okay thats enough..but i bought abreva once and it was like 20 dolllars! I tried vinegar before, it worked fairly well, but we dont have any, and i dont have a ride to walgreens but i can get one if theres something out there that works good enough! Oh wow honey..This is the bad news fairy shaking some "Wake up" dust on you. You need to get out of this friendship. She's verbally abusing you and putting you down because you're doing the right things. Do NOT let her bring you down with her. She drinks, she has sex, that's her problem. You honestly need to sit her down and talk to her about this and ask her why she says these things. Request for her to stop, to save your friendship. If she persists...you need to end the friendship.

i'm a guy and was wondering something. as the question implys, i would like to know whether most people put feelings or morality first, and why. my example is pre-marital sex. there must be at least 20 questions on that topic before this one...some say 'do it if you feel ready' while others say 'no because you'll regret it and it's not meant to be that way'. both seem good reasons for or against it. is it both? should you really put your feelings and that of another first, or should you stick to your moral values, reguardless of what others or society has to say about pre-marital sex. thanks, will rate. Honestly, I'm in this same kind of situation for a while. My religion, as well as my beliefs, are that sex should be saved for marriage. While I am contemplating whether or not I should stick to this, my heart tells me I should. Seriously, are you ever going to find that "special person". If they're special enough to have sex with, then they should be special enough to marry. If you're not going to marry them, then obviously, they're not the one.
Your moral values are yours. No one can degrade them or take them away from you. I'm sticking with my decision to wait for sex, despite the immense amount of peer pressure.
Besides...I don't really want the pressure of worrying about whether or not I'm pregnant, or if I caught an STD. And you don't want to worry about your girl getting pregnant or yourself getting an STD.
Wait for marriage and uphold your moral values.

Im 15 female
A lot of my friends like to drink and smoke pot. I don't like it. I had my fun with that already, I smoked pot when i was in 6th grade and stoped when i saw my brother get locked up for it. Yeah and i had my experience with alcohol i drank and i puked my guts up and now i wont ever drink again. well at least not til im old enough. But anyway my friends are always drink like on the weekends and they always ask me to go but i just go to my boyfriends house and hang out and what not. I always find my self thinking that im better than that and i don't want to ruin my life with that stuff.
Is this normal because i always thought that teenagers will like to drink and get in trouble and just do bad stuff just to make a laugh? Am i abnormal? (link)

Woah honey...stop right there. If anything, you're the only one who's normal. You're making decisions that will affect your future...in a positive way. Drinking is for when you're 21....and drugs...they just fuck you up. You are smart enough to realize this. Sure you can still hang out with your friends who do this, but if they ever try to force or peer pressure you into doing it, then you should drop them. It's not worth getting locked up for something that you never even wanted to do in the first place.

okay im 16/f.
i was in 2 bad car accidents and my leg is paralyzed along with all the other bad injuries. my leg is just "dead" it impairs me. my doctor says i should have it amputated, but i don't know if i can make that descision. can you please help me? (link)

Well, this isn't really our choice to make. It's your leg, but I'll give you what I would do. Honestly, I would probably just get the leg amputated and have a fake one, one of those electronic ones, put on. If it realy is impairing you, and is dead weight...there's no use for it honey... The fake leg would be able to be moved and used. You could walk normal again and even run.

Age shouldn't matter....That is unless you're a fifteen year old dating a twenty year old. Then it's rape. But if you're 18 or older, age shouldn't matter. If you really love the person, age really isn't an issue. I know from experience.

I am a 19 year old female who has dated a lot of immature 18-21 year olds. I joined an online dating site recently, just because I thought it would be fun. Well, now I seem to be drawing myself towards older men, such as 30 year olds. I suppose it's because of their maturity level, financial stability, and experience.

Well, first off, I know that you probably dont' want to hear this, but be careful of who you meet on the internet. Some of those guys could be extremley dangerous.
Besides that, I know how you feel on this one, and I think that you should take the chance with an older man if you are willing to. It's only an 11 year difference. If you connect with him, then I say go ahead. But I'm pretty sure you will get some odd looks from people who have nothing better to do in life then criticize others.
There's nothing wrong with dating a guy who's a little older. Go for it hon, but just keep the internet warning in mind =D
