The other day my best guy friend told me he was going to ask me out over winter break sometime because he liked me alot. He didn't say why he didn't ask me out, or if he still liked me, he changed the subject.
I don't know, I honestly wish he had asked me out, because I still like him to this day. Winter break was around dec 15-jan 2nd for us. Is there anyway I could get him to start liking me again? What are some things I could do like, to want to be with me? Thank you! (link)

you should ask him if he still likes you. the longer you wait, the less confident he may feel to ask you out. he might be nervous, or his feelings might've changed, but don't let this whole thing bother you any longer, any truth is good truth.

I want to know if I am truly in love. I think I am. So I would like others opinions of what true(I want to be with you forever) love is. No ones will be wrong or right. I just want to know what others think it is.

if you feel like you are in love, then you are in love. there is no right or wrong way to. i've never had a boyfriend, and people tell me that whenever i have feelings for someone, i'm just dreaming it. but they are wrong, they aren't my emotions. same with you. i don't know if you've ever been in a relationship, but either way it doesn't matter. you feel this way? that's a great thing. i hope this helped

This guy at school asked me out last week to hang out. We hung out and I ended up having a great time. But then a few days laer at school, his friend asked me an inappropriate question about how far we have gone. I feel like this guy that likes me just wants to see how far he can get with me. He also doesn't talk with me at school, until his friend asks him if we're still together, then he will go up to me to talk. He chooses to talk to his girl friends before me. It's also very awkward on the phone, because we run out of things to say to eachother a lot, and I thought a relationship sounded nice, but I feel like we would just be better off as friends. How should I deal with this, because his sister told me he really likes me a lot and had a really fun time with me.

Friends can be negatively effective on people's relationships, or who they like etc. trust me, i know. His friends could just be making him mad or you mad because they think it's funny. The best you can do is get an answer from him. find out how he truely feels about you from the person who knows for sure. guys' friends could get envious sometimes. i hope this helps

I am a whiz on the computer and the Internet and she knows that - she is not disputing that - she always tells me that she wishes she knew how to use the computer the way I do. STORY: Ok today I had a fight with my mom. I had gone online to a major department store to find a furniture item for the Living Room. But I couldnt find it. Any way she called the store and they said that they do not have it in stock but they have it online. So she asked how can we find it online. I got defensive because I thought she was saying she thought I did not know how to use the Internet so I snapped at her. She got nasty. MY QUESTION: When people fight do they say nasty things that they dont mean just because they want to hurt the other person? (link)

It could be possible you are right. But a lot of the reason why people say things they don't mean during an argument is because they are letting out a lot of anger, which includes feelings kept inside about things that person might've done before. I don't think your mom wanted to hurt you, everybody has those moments when they believe that they a right about something.

well it depends on what type of relationship you have with him now. if you talk a lot, you should talk more, and maybe even tell him how you feel. if he barely adknowledges you, try to talk to him more, but get to know other guys. i don't take my own advice, cause i just don't, but you definitely should.

OKay, basicly I lie about the stupidest things that aren't true. But everyonce in a while I'll say this HUGE lie that I didn't realise I was thinking of or saying until it's already out polluting the air. It really scares me and I don't know how to handle it. I've never told anyone about this... I'm just so confused and I'm really scared that I'm going to get myself into trouble...

it is always very important tothink about what you're saying before you say it. since you seem to do this often, the process may be more difficult. but when someone asks you a question that you're not sure how to answer or just don't want to, think about it before anything comes out of your mouth. if u really are unsure of how to respond to something, say "i'm not sure" or "i'd rather not answer". hope it helps!

I don't know if this is in the right category but I hope it is. Well anyway, I'm going to Florida this summer for a vacation. 13/f(not that my asl has anything to do with it). but i live in maine so i was wondering what the easiest way of transportation would be because my parents cant decide whether 2 get a plane (cuz the tickets cost more) or take the car down there (it would be like 3 days of driving! and the gas costs a LOT). and one more thing:
what are some good hotels or good places to see there? thanks

first off, you really should take a plane. trust me, it'll be worht the price. i don't know where you are going in Florida, but i suggest you go to Sarasota, Tampa, and Orlando. In Sarasota, there's this great hotel called Lido Beach Hotel. they have the most amazing suites. hope this helped!

Hey my whole entire family treats me like iam a baby even my cousins and everybody it's not just my mom either i'll give you an example like the other day when we went to the skating rink my cousin told my 14 year old and my 15 year old cousin to look after me like iam a little baby and i know how to skate really well so it can't be becouse i can't skate could somebody please tell me why they do this and how can i make them treat me like my age.

you should speak up. they'll never know that it bothers you if you don't next time they try to treat you that way, be aggresive and firmly tell them to stop. that's not fair to you, you should be treated like an adult.

I love this guy I've been dating for a year now. Our parents let us be together, but make our lives miserable because we are together. We still are in love but he's letting the outside world that tells us not to be together get to him saying things like, "It doesn't make sense for the one thing that you love, to make you miserable also." that's a little harsh, but obviously all your parents are doing a good enough job of making you miserable for him to say that. he needs to talk to his parents and you need to talk to yours. they need to know that if they loved you they'd be respectful of your feelings and not hurt you and make your life harder that way. that's not fair to either of you.

always remember that your thoughts can always be kept to yourself. its your mind, no one else needs to know about ur thoughts or be able to judge them youu don't have to feel stupid, it not bad to be obsessed with someone. i never knew why it intimidates people so much, but i guess it just does. dont worry about it.

First of all, going on a rollercoaster while you are pregnant could do so much more damage than a miscarriage, especially since you are only 12. the result of doing something like that could be devastating. You need to go to a doctor about this, this is serious. if you are telling the truth about your mom stabbing you, find another adult in your family who you trust to take you to a doctor so you don't have to go through more more pain that you already must be going through. this is why you have to take sex seriously, it's not just something you should be doing for no reason.

I am going on a trip and I want to get more things on my ipod. I have 80gb I-pod video, but thats beside the point. I was wondering if you could reccommend some good movies/tv-shows offered on I-tunes. I cant think of any to search also make sure it is available on i-tunes first thanks.
I was also wondering if you knew any good rock/ metal (but not yelling. something like some of nickelbacks songs, which are oddly considered metal) bands.
Anything you offer would be great, but I will be checking to make sure they are actually on i-tunes before giving ratings.

i think you should sing Beyonce's newsong she sang for DreamGirls called Listen. Towards the end of the song you'll hear how she sings so strongly, if you could do that that would be awesome. also you could sing Better by Regina Spektor it's a really good song to sing. good luck!

I txt msg to the guy I like (he knows I like him, and i'm not sure if he likes me) to go out last friday night. No respond, no call, nada. After 5 days, he sent me a txt msg said he was sick that night and didn't feel going out.
I guess it's good to know, but after all this time, he all the sudden thinks he SHOULD tell me he couldn't make it?!
WHY did he wait this long to explain to me he couldn't make it on friday???

Ok tonight my friend Betty was having dinner with her mom. Her mom made fish. The piece was a little too big for Betty. When she finished the rest of the meal Betty said to her mom; I cannot eat the rest. This piece of fish was too big; The mother said; it isnt too big but eat what you want; But Betty was a little upset that her mother did not think the piece of fish is too big. Betty said to her friends is my mom saying because she doesnt think the fish is too big she wants me to finish the piece of fish she gave me. Her friends told her no Betty your mother is not saying to eat all the fish - she even told you to eat what you want. MY QUESTION: Do you agree with Bettys friends (link)

my freshman year i got accepted to one of the top performing art schools in the nation for vocal performance!! i was so excited!! ever since i heard about it ive wanted to go....My dream ever since i could remember was to be a singer...when i attended school for the first few weeks i noticed that there was a music male teacher that i would always catch looking at me....about 2 months into school, he told me to stay after class because he wanted to enter a song id written in a major record label contest. I walked into his room and he told me to sit on the piano bench and he'd be right back. So i did as he said and got my music out and waited. When he came back he shut the door and locked it he said that he locked it "because he didn't want to be bothered with the janitors" so i didn't think anything of it, kinda thought it was wierd (music rooms are soundproof) but anyway, he sat down next to me and placed his hand on my upper thigh and said im so proud of the progress your making in my class, you're deffinately going to acheive your dream and go somewhere with your talent" he put his arm around my shoulder and acted like he was grabbing my music, and he pushed it off the side on "accident" so i bent down to grab it, and as i bent down he grabbed my butt. and i told him to stop. but then he sternly said, "if you want to pass the class and win the comptetion you'll let me do what i want. Trust me, you want me on your side. I can give you everything you want." I sat back down, giving him another chance, hoping he would stop, but it just got worse as time went on. Long story short, he ended up raping me.
When i threatned him that i would tell, he just said "do you really want to leave this school?? you're parents would take you out of here and you wouldn't get ot pursue your dream anymore." and after i thought about it i realized that i wanted to be a singer more than anything else, and this school would help me out so much. So i continued to put up with it...
This situation has been continuing on and off for about 2 1/2 years now. I haven't told anyone, becuase i don't want to run the risk of anyone finding out becuase then i wouldnt be able to go to this school anymore. I just really feel like i need to talk to someone, but i don't know who to talk to. I don't feel comfortable telling my boyfriend, bestfriend, or anyone whats going on.
What should i do? I want to continue achieving my goals, and the school helps out with this alot, but at the same time i want the abuse to stop. I'm sorry this is so long, thanks so much for taking your time to help.

this teacher doesn't deserve to be in the presence of students. If you act fast, you will not get kicked out. why would you? he is the wrong one in this situation. rape is very serious. he's tring to scare you and mess with your mind so he could do this. if you speak up, he will be arrested and lose his job and you will be safe along with any other students he may have done anything to. you deserve to enjoy your path to becoming a singer, i'm sure you'll make it very far. just have confidence! good luck

tomorrow, im getting a blood test. the thing is, i HATE needles, and i HATE looking at the thing and seeing my blood, which means basically, i hate blood. and afterwards, i am paranoid for the whole day looking at where the needle went in, and i feel like its hurting, but im actually causing myself to FEEL like its hurting. i have no idea what to do to make myself lmore comfortable. any suggestions? I hate needles too, i get shots and stuff a lot. The best thing you can do is not think about the needle before your appointment. if you keep thinking about it, itll keep controlling your mind. while you're in the waiting room keep yourself busy by getting caught up in a book or listening to your favorite songs on your iPod. Once you're getting it done take deep slow breaths, and dont panic or hesitate. do not at all look at the needle, ask the doctor whose giving the blood test to make sure he tells you when not to look when he takes the needle out, while its being done, don't get tense. just breathe. sing a song in your head. ask a family member to come in with you and talk to you. hope this helps
