Hi guys! My name is Ally and I'm 14. My first name rhymes with my last name. I am full on italian and proud.I love making people laugh, and I hate war & fighting. I also hate bullies because they think they're so much better then everyone else. I love to sing, act, and dance, which is why I want to be on Broadway when I grow up :). i dont know what to say to my mother when she calls me a stupid lesbian, a worthless faggot, and other demeaning things. it doesnt hurt me like it used to (everyone knows my mom's a bitch, and that she's the epitome of insanity) but it makes me pretty mad. i really dont know what a can say back to her to get her to shut up and back off. bitch doesnt phaze her b/c people call her that everyday. i know i sound like i'm putting her down, but that's what she's always done to me since i was about 5 (i'm 16 now). anyway, i'd appreciate some suggestions on what i could do or say to make the situation better. i really cant take it anymore.
and please dont leave me an immature comment saying 'oh well why don't you just quit being bi' or somthing like that. it's just not that simple.
My friends mom is like that, so I know what you're talking about. What always gets at my mom is tears. I'm not saying you should cry to get what you want, but like real meaningful tears. just sit her down and tell her that you can't help being bisexual. Is she not a meaningful talking kind of person? Then show a little backbone!! Does she do some bad habits? Something you hate? Show her! Embarress her! Create a plan with some of your friends (I know that's mean, and it's your mom, but sometimes getting back is good.) I really hope I helped you and not have given you the worst advice ever :/

what are some ways to become extemely skinny in the shortest amount of time? Are here any good exersizes where It gives me a skinny look instead of a muscular look?
Also, how can I train myself not to eat much, and not to eat junk food alot?

First of all, I think it's horrible that your trying to be skinny just to be emo. And your not even being emo. You are trying to be emo. Being emo is a person that when they're happy, they're extremely happy. Or if they're sad, they're extremely sad.Or they don't know how to deal with their family or friend problems, so they choose to hurt themselves.
Plus, there are a TON of obese emo people at my school. I mean, super skinny emo kids scare me. Obese emo boys are totally awsome and outgoing! I know that sounds weird, but it's true.
Usually, I have a vocal range from E3(the E below Middle C) to C6 (The C two octaves higher than Middle C). But whenever I'm in chorus, for some reason, I can barely sing the high A. I don't see why. Does anyone have ideas?
And please, only answer this if you know about the subject.
Hm..are you sitting differently when you are in chorus? It may be that your not letting the pitch come out beacuse your not singing out of your lower belly or in your diaphram caused by not sitting up straight? Do you strain your voice like in classes before you go to chorus? Also, if you have chorus like 1st or 2nd period it might be because it's early in the morning. I can't sing very high in the morning, I'm like hoarse.

Well it kind of depends on the girl ? Do you know what she likes to do? If you know that, you can base how your going to ask her out around that.

Well, the WORST way is going in front of all her friends and asking her there, because that puts pressure on her. Try to be like in a room with people, but only you two are talking. Then you guys aren't totally alone.
Do you only see her in school? If you do, then there really is no creative way to ask her. You just kind of have to say it before your next class starts.
I guess you could like write on a paper will you go out with me and then two check boxes with the words yes next to one and no next to the other one (Or if your a cocky person, you can just have a yes check box)

does anyone know how to curl the ends of my hair?.... Plus i really want to make my hair wavy but i have no idea how!! (without usin hair curlers or wateva) please help me because im really bored with my style! its always down strate thanx ill rate 5 for any good answers
to curl the ends of your hair you have to use a circular hair brush and a blow dryer (I suggest asking your mom with that. But be careful because it may come out like how girls wore their hair in the 50's.
As for wavy hair..get a bottel of gel from like CVS or something (I use Studio Line) and then take a shower, when you come out get like a whole bunch of gel (depends on how your hair is..if it's naturally straight you can use a lot, if it's naturally curly you don't have to use a lot) in your hands and rub them together and then rub throughout your hair (WARNING: DO NOT BRUSH YOUR HAIR AFTER YOU GET OUT OF THE SHOWER. JUST GET OUT AND PUT THE GEL IN) then bend down and make a ponytail (but don't put a hair thing in it.) and then start to curl the ponytail into one unison curl, and then rap it around (Like a ballet bun) and then put a hair thing over the bun (THis should be on the top of your head, so, yes, your oging to look like an alien.) If your hair is naturally straight, i suggest leaving the bun in for like an hour to an hour and a half. if it's naturally curly only put it in for like 45 minutes to an hour. When you take it out, your hair shall be wavy :)
IF YOUR HAIR DOES NOT CURL EASILY IT MAY COME OUT AFTER LIKE THE FIRST 2 HOURS.
another thing you can do is, the night before take a shower and put your hair into little tiny braids all over your head. (I mean you don;t have to make them skinnny and tiny, but the skinnier you make the braid, the more cool it's gonna look) like alicia keys, ( they don't have to be like amazingly awsome braids. mine look terrible.) and then get gel and hairspray and put it all over each individual braid. then put all the braids into one big ponytail and go to sleep.
The next morning, take all the braids out, and you'll hair will look like you crimped it.
As for being bored with your style, ask your hair dresser to give you like one of those over lap bangs that kind of cover one eye. or ut layers or angles or something

yesterday a guy friend i have said i look like im Swedish. i don't know what swedish people look like so i dont know if that's a compliment or not? i'm really italian not swedish. so what features to polish people have? and when he said i look like im swedish is that a good thing or is it bad? are swedish people ugly and what features do they have for example like blue eyes? HELP.
haha it depends on who the guy is.
My friend is polish and she is tall with red hair and blue eyes. I think polish people are tall, though.

^ those are just some people i know. I'm not saying that all polish people's names start with k, and end in "ski" , though. if someone has a name like that at your school you can just see what they look like.
There really is not big physical trait that stands out in polish people. So i have no idea what your friend is talking about

AHHHAHAHAH! i know exactly what you mean. I think things look really cute but they look really gay to other poeple. But you know what? That's how trends get started. I can tell you. My brother does it, and i did a health project on it.
First of all, it comes in this can that kind of looks like a cottage cheese holder or something, you open it up and it's just dry tobacco. Little black stuff. You take a chunk of it out and put it into the space between your lower teeth and your lower lip and just suck on it. and then you spit it out when your done sucking(kidn of like sunflower seeds.) Usually baseball players do it. It comes in a can called skoal. Or at least that's the popular one.
It is SO bad for you. It can give you lip, gum, mouth, and oral cancer.
I suggest you ask your boyfriend to stop before you kiss him again

I seriously want to lose weight. There's just a couple of problems, though. I only need to lose 10-15 pounds. I am anorexic..sort of. I go two or three days without eating and then I start again. That doesn't work a lot because my parents always force me to eat or I can't go out or something. I really want to lose weight and get on a diet, but with me it's kind of "eat" or "don't eat", not "eat only this". And everyone thinks I'm already skinny, but my thighs and stomach aren't. =/
If I diet, I would like to be on weightwatchers, but I don't know how many points I need to limit myself to in order to lose weight quickly. Also, my parents don't want me dieting.

Girl people always look fat to themselves. And all girl's stomach are getting bigger. If you see someone as thin as a stick, that means they haven't started there period yet. It's all a part of getting your period. Your stomach and hip bones get bigger so your body can allow a baby to grow inside it (Not that I'm saying your having a baby anytime soon.) As for your thighs, i don't think dieting is going to make your thighs thinner. I tryed looking on google but i couldn't find anything. If you buy a seventeen or cosmo girl magazine they always have tips to get abs or nice thighs or something.

What is "head voice" and "nasal breathing"
How do you know you're singing like that or if you're singing any good?
Well there are two types of voices
Head voice and Chest voice
Head voice is kind of when you sing through your head (I know it sounds weird. Maybe ask the vhorus teacher at your school, she probably has a better answer.)
Chest voice is when you like belt songs and when you sing really loud. That's what a lot of black girl singers do (Like Gloria Gaynor. Not Alicia Keys.) because they can pull it off.
Nasal breathing is just when you breath and sing through your nose. It's unhealthy for your chords though. So I would try not doing.
People alwauys sound different to themselves then to other people. I suggest singing into a recorded tape (Do you have a keroke machine?) and then playing it over to see what you sound

I'm dating this guy. Ryan. We have been dating for about three weeks now, Yeah, I know - It's not that long. But this isn't the first time we dated.
My best friend, almost hooked up with the same guy. But we went out one night and she did things with another guy and almost went all the way. Ryan found out and told me about two months ago that he didn't want a girl like that, So we started talking more, My bestfreind hates it with a passion. She claims that she wants him to die and that she hates him and doesn't want anything to do with him ever again, and that she has no feelings left for him what so ever, So I thought - What the heck, I'll date him and give him a chance.
We started dating. My bestfriend found out and told me, it's me or him. Take your pick. Of course, I chose my best friend. Me and Ryan broke up. Then about two weeks later, me and Ryan started talking about, and everything was cool with my bestfriend, We even pledged to not let another guy get between us ever again. Everything was perfect, So I gave Ryan another chance. I told my best friend, but she was too drunk to remember that I said anything.
Last night I hung out with both of them. It sounds like the only reason problems have been happening is because of your friend. Ryan doesn't fight back to your best friend(Which is good, because that would make more drama.)
It also sounds like your best friend is getting drunk and wasted a lot. Now, who am I to tell you who to hang out with, but I think that you should not hang out with your friend anymore. She seems to be the only problem that goes on in your life. Sure, she's been there for you through thick and thin, but what about guys?

Hallo!
O.K. so here's the deal. My brother takes me to school each morning in his car. Usually we would just leave at the last second, and get there in time. Now, we're leaving 30 minutes earlier to pick up his friend. I was o.k. with it, but now they're starting to smoke in the car and I get to school with my clothes smelling like smoke. Normally, I would just ask him to stop, but during last summer him and his ex-girlfriend had a baby when he was sixteen, and now I just feel bad for him a lot and I would feel guilty for asking him, because it's probably his way of dealing with the baby (Not that it's the right way.) What should I do?
Even though he is your brother, I doubt he wants people feeling bad for him. I think that you should ask him to stop anyways. Or ride the bus to school.
