I want to stop biting my nails but I don't know how to. I've tried before and it never seems to work out. My mom tells me to sit on my hands but that doesn't work. I've tried chewing gum and yet I still bite them and my nails are too short to paint. I've even got my nails done before and when I take the fake nails off and my real ones are long they just break off. Any suggestions?
I heard if you put them in vinegar, when you bite them it tastes horrible. Also around the house try to wear gloves or something.. and also once when I was buying nail polish i saw this one that was for people who bite their nails, I'm not sure what it does, but it is clear, and it probably strengthens your nails, and gives them a bad taste so you'll stop. Finally, just try to keep busy and whenever you go to bite them THEn sit on your hands or something.
my boyfriend doesnt trust me because i cheated on him a long time ago. he doesnt trust me at all these days and its affecting me. It hurts me. what can i do? what do i do? he says everything is fine but it isn't.

OK this is a really hard question to write. My parents got divorced when i was in 1st grade, and i live with my mom. Lately she and i have been fighting alot. i love her and everything, but she is just really stressing me out. ive told her this, and she does better the next day, but as soon as its a week later she totally forgets. My Dad is an air traffic controler and so h works weird hours. Me and him have a great relationship and rarely fight with him my question is, should i take a break from my moms house and move in with my dad for awhile or deal with her? Thanx!!!!!!
I would deal with her.. just give it some time, maybe a month or so and if things just dont get bettor or even get worse than they were I would consider moving in with your Dad, though just as a thought, u guyz might have a good relationship b/c u dont have to c each other 24/7, so at first things mite be a little stressing too, i dont know. good luck with whatever you choos!

Okay here is the problem my friend just turned 12 last week but her room looks a little kiddish with like pink wallpaper,horse models and so on but she wants her room to look like a 12 year old kid's room but her mom will not let her get new furniture or paint her walls.So does anyone have any ideas on how she could make her room look good without getting new furniture and stuff?I will rate fives to anyone who helps with this room emergency no matter if your advice is not very good!!!
Hey, well first of all Happy Belated Birthday to your friend!! lol im not exactly sure what the wallpaper luks like, but pink is soo awesome!!! i dont know why she'd hate it.. but anyways, first of all, put all her kiddish stuff like the horse models away in the attic or something and replace it with new stuff. Like put posters on the wall of hott guys, or celebrities. Get a bulletin board too to hang stuff and tack up pictures of you and your friends. Get a new rug or something, get better looking lamps, and like maybe drape fabric in your room! and get beads for your door to, thats cool. Ok theres this girl in one of my classes named june (named change of course) but anyways shes always bragging about what she has saying that shes rich , and usually talks about how *awesome* her car is, and how its a brand new car but she doesnt like it. Anyways shes new this year and i dont know if she wants to be my friend or not? how do i know if shes just saying all this stuff to impress me, or just really doesnt like me? I mean she brags about how she knows so many people already yet, when i see her shes always around just the usual two people. So i dont know if she wants to make new friends or what? any help? She's probably just nervous about being new at your school.. she probably has a hard time making new friends and adjusting to things.. so her way of "making friends" is probably just bragging, she is probably trying to make her sound Soooo cool, and soo great, and soo wonderful, so people will be like "OMG that June girl is soo awesome, she's lik soo rich" or whatever. but obviously it is nto working for her. So to your answer i think she is trying to impress you, AND be your friend. But if you already have doubts and dont seem to like her already, you might not later on when you're friends.. so thats just a thought, thogh yet again, first impressions arent everything, but i will tell you at my school we got this new girl and the first thing that she said to us was soo snotty and she turned out really strange in the end even wehn I gave her a chance, but that is just me. So give this gurl a chance, maybe the bragging will stop and you can be good friends.. otherwise maybe she'll just be one of those nagging, bragging people that never shut up (No offence)

I have really curly hair that I used to chemically straighten a few years back, before it damaged my hair. It's now grown out curly again, but I can't wear it that way because it won't lay in defined curls and it always frizzes in the back. I straighten it with a ceramic iron that I bought through my hairstylist, and I love how it looks when it's straight!
What I wanted to ask was, what hairstyles can I try? I usually either wear it down, or some up and some down, or in a ponytail. Are there any other cute styles I could try? Btw, I don't have bangs, if that gives you any other ideas.

Itll prob. take a lotta time, but u eventuallycan. If you tay clean for a long time, do rly good in school, and show them that they can rely on you to help them out and to be responsble in some situations. Jus b rly nice, ont do drugs and deff. don throw hissy fits, ull b aright ;-)

ok, so, I'm in the 8th grade and I live in, and I'm about to go to highschool, but I dont know which one to go to. 2 highschools, brooklyn tech in brookyn and townsend harris in queens, have offered me a seat, and they're both good. but townsend is like REALLY good and it's hard to get into, but I heard there's a LOT of hw, like 4 hours worth of it every day, and going to townsend is like completely giving up your social life, and everyone's telling me to go there. I want to go there cuz it's close to me, and it's really intelligent, but I wont know anyone there. people that used to go to townsend said that college seemed easy compared to the highschool, and that they benefited a lot from the school. most of the kids I know are going to brooklyn tech. the school's definately not as good as townsend but it's still good because it's one of the six specialized highschools in nyc, but I'm really interested in it because some of my best friends are going there, and becuz I kno there will be tons of hot guys.

I personally would choose Townsend (Even though i dont know anythign about either) because if it is THAT Good, it will be a great experience. It will also help you later in life when getting jobs, applying for college ETC>. Plus, itll be an oppurtunity to meet new people, make new friends, and still keep the old!!! With whatever one you choose, i hope you have fun, and goodl luck!
Ok the other day (I forgot how we came up on the subject)my friend and I were talking about how much we weighed. I told her first, but I am pretty skinny. Well, she told me she only weighed 2 more pounds than me (92). I think she is lying, however (maybe she feels embarassed?), because she wears a size five in jeans (I wear a 0). Can she really only weigh 2 more pounds than me, and yet still wear jeans way bigger than me? b/c me and this girl are REALLY good friends & i she NEVER lies to me (and i would hate for her to start!!) Yeah it is possible, it depends on her height and everything too, but maybe that is not her EXACT weight, maybe she weighs a little more or something, but it shouldn't matter, she might ahve like you said been embarrrassed. If she DID lie to you, dont worry about it, because weight is an insecurity and she probably didnt want to embarras herself, lik you b lik: oh i weigh 90 and then her have to say "yah i weigh 105" or whatever.

So far we have black glasses with tape, and suspenders that have Ninja Turtles on them and another one has Spider man on them. What else should we wear. We are girls so not "guy" type of stuff.

Someone has asked that same question before (but not the twin part) and i asked a guy wat he'd want. He sed just a card!! It's the thoguht that counts so a hand made card or box of chocoaltes( i duno anyone who dusnt love choclates!) BUt dont you and ur bf get them da smae thing. I mean it might seem cute or somehting, but mayb a little werd 2, like you both went shopping togethr got the smae thgns then gave them 2 sperate bfs. MAke a cute hand made card with mabe pics. of you and ur guy together so it looks original not like all stor bought or anyhting and baga lindt. Also, a coloage of liek memories , picures , little items, stickers etc. that reminds you of your relationship might be sweet to!!

I have really really wavy hair and I was wondering how to straighten it and keep it straight for the day without drying it out or causing it to break or start dandriff. Any suggestions?
well to not dry it out, use conditioner.. adn the dandruff part, well just wash your hair a lot and dont scratch!!! yucky! lol
but to make it straight, use a straightner!!! itll help soo much
My dog just died today and I'm soooo sad! =( She didn't suffer, thank god, but I just can't get over it. She was the greatest dog, and I love her so much. What can I do to feel better?

im soo sorry to hear about your dog. im also sad to say, that there isnt really any way to get over your dog, because they are a big part of your life. With time though, you'll stop crying, and recover, but she/he will always be in your heart! one thing maybe you could do with your family, or just by yourself is to make a scrapbook, and reflect on all the good times and remember the great life she had, instead of thinking of how she is gone.. im not sure this helps.. but good luck
