My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.


My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

I think it all depends on the person... I would say in most cases around 16 just because when I was younger I thought all these piercings were sweet and make you look cool and everyone else will think so.. but know I know you really have to fit that piercing and not everyone can look good with a certain piercing

and its permanent

ask your parents.. if they think it would look cute and they let you then they think you are ready for it

but if they say no know.. then they don't think you are responsible enough yet

and until you are 18 whatever they say goes

because why would you trust your 12 year old best friends boyfriends friend to do it

okay ive known my best friend since i was born. We will be friends forever i know it. But the problem here is...she has lost her virginity to a boy she has been dating for 11 months [shes 16] She says that she knows hes the "one" she thinks there going to get married and live a happily ever after life with him...well she told me that they had unprotected sex but it wasnt long enough to get her pregnant. i told her never to take a chance like that again! im scared her whole life is gonna go down the drain with a child. I really think it could happen...What should i tell my bestfriend without getting her affended?

Tell her the truth... there is no specific time that they can have sex and not get pregnant... the second they start they run the risk

if she is a good enough friend that she will be your friend forever tell her straight up. Personally I think they have been dating long enough and she is old enough to make her own decisions about protected sex but seriously tell her the risks she runs

what should i wear to disneyland? i want to be really cute, but also comfortable. i'm not sure if wearing sandals would be a good idea, so i also have slip on vans but those dont look that good w/ shorts or skirts, but it will be hot. HELP!

When i went I wore soffees which a tank top and a bikini top underneath with flip flops.

I wouldn't wear a skirt because they usually are not practical on rides and slip on shoes tend to give more blisters than flip flops or tighter fit tennis shoes.

Okay my GPA after my freshman year was a 2.5 is it going to be hard to bring that up?

it depends on what you bring it up to.. on your college transcript that 2.5 is going to be 1/3 of your total gpa so if you are looking to bring it up past a 3.0 yeah it could be hard

but regardless try your best and don't give up because colleges like to see improvement even if you don't have to the best overal grades

i have a really hard time making decisions about ANYTHING! i mean, even the stupidest, simplest thing, i can't make up my mind about! like any time i go out to eat, i can never decide what to order. so the waitress and everyone has to sit there waiting for me to decide, until someone will finally just pick something for me. and like today i saw this really cute shirt at the store, it came in pink, black and blue. so i sat there for like 35 minutes trying to decide which one i liked best. finally i got the pink one (just cuz my friends were getting mad)... but now i keep thinking "oh no, maybe i shoulda got the blue one!" and its so stupid because ITS JUST A SHIRT! last week i couldnt decide which color sandals i liked best, so i got them in every color (4 pairs) so i wouldnt have to pick, and i wasted all my money!! has anyone else had this problem? and how can i get over this problem?

I have the same problem.. often finally come to a decision then second guess the decision I made

I just basically keep telling myself to get over it

a shirt it was like $20.. so its not a big deal if its not perfect its not like thats all the money you ever had

and at a restaurant the is always next time to get something else

also i think practical like which shirt would I have to oppertunity to wear the most with prob black over pink etc

and with like sandals i usually take like white gray blue.. you know the neutrals


also buy all 4 of the sandals then take them home and pick one.. they should be returnable


its really hard I know..there is no other way to get over it then mentally making yourself.. because the dicision making problem is all in your head


just have your friends help.. that works for me

if i like 2 shirts i make them pick one

or if im between to meals i ask them which one is better

like in softball if i strike out i get frustrated like why did i switch lefty when i was just doing fine batting righty

I wear a bra size 30A and I wear it on the very first hook and it makes marks right under my breasts, does this mean that I need a bigger size bra? Or is that normal..? If I don't need a bigger size, when do I know I need a bigger size? Please and thanks for answering these questions.

usually that means either the band or the cup size is too small.... unless you are practically falling out of the one you have its probally the band

what you do is you take a tape measurer and measure the area right where your band should be.. that number is the size band you have

chances are you should try a 32A or a different brand

each brand runs a little differently

sometimes it takes a while... when they do it if you hear a lulaby at the end it means shes pregnant.. and she gives birth 3 days later

I want to get my eyebrows shaped. Do I go into a hair salon or a nail salon or someplace other than those? What would I ask for because once a lady tweezed, but it didn't do any good. Are there any links that'll show eyebrow shapes that could be a possibility for me?

I get mine done at my hair salon and they really reshaped them and did a nice job.. Ask you friends

if you think its kinda of weird find girls who have niced shaped eye brows and ask them where they get their hair/nails done and that might give you idea of a good place to go

do guys not like curly hair on girls? i dont have like an afro, but my hair is curly. its really hard to straighten it because it doesnt really work that well. it's just like everyone has straight hair these days, i really wish i did, and i don't know if curly hair is attractive to guys. i don't have like ugly frizzy curly hair, alot of people tell me my hair is pretty, but it is poofier than straight hair obviously because its curly. so i guess my question is - do guys not like that? and i don't want "it depends on the guy" - just give me your opinion or answer.

I have heard guys do. I wear my hair curly from time to time and i always get comments from guys. I am not sure if its because its different or they just like girls but it seems to grab guys attention either way

I can do my left and right splits pretty well, but im basically a centimeter off the floor, and I need to be able to do them in like 2 weeks. Ive been working on them for a really long time, and for some reason my progression has seemed to slow. What is a really good strech for left and right splits? thanks =]

try doing over splits.. get a mat or something to prob your front leg on while doing a slip... this will allow your body to stretch more than it would during split making a normal split easier

so i want to get my belly button pierced at a salon,but i'm only 15 and i don't have my parents permission. however, i have an older sister who i look really similar to...too bad she's 22. she looks really young for her age so i could probably pull it off somehow.. (i'll figure this out myself) and i can talk really proper cuz i hang out with older people alot and everything. and i'll talk in a fake chinese accent cuz it makes me sound older hhaa. anyways, but if i get caught...will they just kick me out of the piercing parlor or will i actually get in troube with the law for using a fake ID? if they all my parents i can have my friend to wait at her phone and pretend to be my mom or something..but would i get in trouble with the actual law? thanks so much.

have your sister take you... using a fake id is bad and chances are they won't take an expired one it usually has to be valid

ok so this doesnt have to do with me im just curious about it lol. how can a women be pregnant even if she gets her menstrual cycle. Also, the term spotting does that mean like bleeding a lot or a little. Again im just curious lol

if shes pregnant she doesn't get her mentrual cycle... she has bleeding but its not quite her period because her period blood is still retained.. its just bleeding from the uterus

I have been a cheerleader about all of my life. About three years ago I just started shaving my vagina. I dont shave the whole area. I dont shave the part closest to my stomach. [i hope you get what i am saying] So for cheerleading i have to wear bloomers. They are tight and rub aagainst my skin. After i shave [no matter if i use shave gel or not] I still get those bumps. i cant remember what they are called. But they look and feel just like herpes but it has something to do with the hair that i shave. I have the med. for it but it gets aggervateing to have to use it every time i shave. Since summer is comeing up i really want to be able to shave and make it look nice with out all of the pain.

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME ANY IDEAS ON HOW I CAN KEEP THESE FROM COMING UP WHEN I SHAVE!

i heard a power nap is like 20 minutes and its more refreshing then like an hour nap

well i take naps after school cause i get EXTREMELY STRESSED and TIRED so i like to sleep but i usually sleep for like 3-8 then i do homework than i cant sleep till 1AM and i feel so tired during the day at school

i have alot of homework so i cant sleep and i heard power naps make you feel energized is it true?

should i take a power nap and put my alarm clock for 20 minutes later ? then wake up at do my homework?

It is true that 20 min naps are the best. it allows your body to rest but not fall into a deep sleep which usually makes you more tired when you get up.

i would recommend napping no longer than 30 mins after school if you intend on getting back up.. that nap will hold you over for a few hours until it is time for bed.

Although if you are used to sleeping up to 8 hours after school i would make the transistion to 20 min power naps gradual.. The body is better rested if you have a pattern over getting a long night sleep (ex. if you go to bed at 12 and get up at 5 is better than going to bed at like 10 one night and 7 then next and still getting up at 5)

so i would say maybe this week take only 2 hour naps. next week 1 hour naps, then the week after that 20 min naps.

For the next few weeks if you are still tired after the power nap give it time.. your body needs to reajust iteself.

Ok i wanna know how exactly the SAT tests are cuz im really worried about taking them.Was it hard for you people that took it?What are the questions like and how many are there?Id like to know anything you know about it plz

The SAT consistes of 10 sections including the writing section.

I thought the test was easy when i took it but when i got it back i was extremely dissapointed in my score.

I would really go back and look over your basic algebra

I am in Trig (one math level above the average in my grade) and I am a junior

The math questions where alot more basic then what i see in my usual math class which is what i think really made it difficult for me.

my sister who took it in 7th grade and was in basic Alegbra acually scored higher on me in the math and I am extremely good at math.

make sure you know like how to find areas and do word problems and stuff.

the reading was pretty simple i thought as well.


each section i want to say had like 30 questions but i don't remeber exactly.

well when you say perm straight are you refering to getting it relaxed or that japanese thing that is like $500?


I had my hair relaxed and i would say it was def not worth it. besides the fact it totally fried my hair it didn't make my hair any straighter and it was like $70 out of my pocket

the japanese thing looks great and it permadently straightens your hair till it grows out. if you have the money i would go with that

but unless you are african american (which is who relaxing was intitially made for)DO NOT GET IT RELAXED

omg help! my baby girl is PREGNANT and i have soo many questions!

1. what do i do after she gives birth? how do i separate the guinea pigs so that she wont bite me when i pick them up?

2. will the girl always eat the guinea pigs, no matter what?

3. how do i care for her right now, while she's pregnant?

4. how long do i have to wait for the babies to grow up before i can let them be together?

You really do not need to seperate them... my neighbors guinea pigs lived with their mom and they were fine... she didnt care for it specially because she had no idea it was even pregnant

the babies stayed together with the mom until she gave one to me and sold the other one ( I want to say it was at 5 weeks but I am not sure)
