Sabine answered Sunday May 6 2007, 8:00 pm: Well, a woman can't be pregnant and get her menstrual cycle. What causes spotting (a little bit of blood off-and-on) is an imbalance of hormones and that can be caused by pregnancy. Some people even notice a little bit of blood when the fertilized embryo implants on the uterine wall. The point I think people are trying to make is that lack of blood does not mean you're pregnant and some blood does not definitely mean that you're not pregnant.

i'm sorry, i didn't understand your first question, but if you add more information to it rephrasing / rewording it, maybe i could help you out :]
spotting means bleedinig a little bit. like there are "spots" of blood on your underwear / pad. it usually occurs when you are just beginning / ending your period. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
