I really want to start some sort of project that i can help orphans. Does anyone know of any organizations in or around Westchester NY???
I am up to doing any sort of project, weather it be like a buddy kind of program (hanging out with orphaned children) or improving orphanages...anyyything.

You should just leave her alone. I know it may be tough, but she is probably going through something tough, and if she wants to talk to you, she will. Just let her know that you understand that she wants to be alone, but that you are there if she wants to talk, (and tell her you'd keep it confidential).

hey i need some help on deciding what to do for my sixteenth b-day party. I'm only inviting about 15 people and have a small space to hang out and a small budget to work with.
i'm not into dressing up to go with themes.
Some things im interested in that might make it more helpful.
i like- Music, movies, Disney princesses, & somthing simple yet not somthing everyone else does.

haha but anyways...you should just invite those people over, and you can all hang out and dance, and watch a movie. And you can kind of theme it around princesses...get like princess plates, and napkins. And get a princess cake!

this might be long... 15/f. i've never had a boyfriend or kiss. people always say oh it's okay your only 15 or whatever, but its really not okay. i feel like such a loser. i dont even have guy friends. it's not like im afraid of them or anything, i talk to guys when they talk to me, but i just dont have any guy friends. im not a "loser" though either. i hang out with a lot of the "popular" girls who hang out with more guys than girls. all of my friends have had more than 2 boyfriends and all of them have gone pretty far with guys. i dont want to be like them or anything, but i DO want to get guy friends. please give advice, any will help. First of all...you're NOT a loser! I'm 16 and i justt got my first boyfriend...adn i'm also "popular". And believe me, its much easier not having a boyfriend, because sometimes i wish that i could just be able to not worry abotu him, and just hang out with my girlfriends.
BUt i also understand what you're going through, i went through the same thing. What you should do is just try and hang out with your girlfriends and theirr guy friends a lot and eventually they should become your friends too. When you know that they are all hangning out one night, casually ask one of your girlfriends what she's doing, or if she wants to do something with you, and chances are that she will say "oh i already have plans, we are going to the movies, you wanna go?" And then when you go, talk to the guys a lot, and you should become friends in no time, and eventually the friendships will turn into boyfriends.

i want to send this ASAP!!
i really want to send an email to my coach because i want to ask her things that i dont get a chance to ask at practices. i have a lot of trouble fixing things i do in games unless i know EXACTLY what im doing wrong and EXACTLY how to fix it. and im pretty shy especially on that team so im having trouble wording this email.
i just want her to know that i want to improve and im going to practice hard, at our practices and on my own, but i need to know specifically what to work on and how to practice it. how do i start off an email like this? how do i say what i want to without sounding like disrespectful or anything?

I really enjoy playing in the games, and i have a lot of fun. I know that i have some errors, and i would really like to fix them to help imporive my game. I was just wondering if you knew any specific mistakes that i've made, that i could specifically work on...

I dont know how to put this. But i guess i never feel good enough, or pretty enough. I dont have like any confidence in myself. I just feel like a retard. And for some wierd reason , i find the more i talk to guys the more my self esteem lowers. I just feel like not good enough or pretty. What do i do? (link)

Just try not to worry...if guys make you feel worse, then don't talk to them. There is nothing wrong with just hanging out with your girlfriends, and that always makes me feel better, because when you are just with your girlfriends you can goof off, and not really worry about your appearence.

It sounds like you're pregnant...but the best way to tell would be to get a home preganncy test, and/or go to a doctor.

I dont think i've ever been in love (i'm 16), but i think that when you love someone, you can't live without them. And i dont think there is a way to descripe it...you just know.

Hello. I'm going to spray paint a car. It doesn't run, and doesn't really have any hopes of ever running again. I'm using it for an art project.
I want to spray paint it.
Any tips/anything I did to know/use before I start.

First of all let me say that i dont think it's stupid at all...i think its really cool!
And as far as tips go...the only thing i can say is to be careful of it running (like the paint dripping down the side, and ruining whatever you're painting). My brother wanted to spray paint his walls, and the pictures all ran.
Also be careful, because if you inhale it you could get sick.

alright i hav a distant relationship with this girl. she is 10 years old and im 15/m. ok first thing i kno what your thinking, the age difference. well i really dont care, age doesnt matter to me its the the person you found true love with. well anyways we are just distant bf and gf but someday we hope to meet eachother. when we were talking on the phone she said that she's gonna might be in some sort of trouble for making out with a guy who is like 15 years old. her friends knew and are going to tell her dad because they think it counts as child molesting. first of all does that even count as child molesting? the guy is only like 5 years older than her and i dont think there was no forcing they just kissed. oh and the girl may be 10 but she is more developed, she has the body and mind of a teen and i know her friends were just protecting her. so does it even count as child molesting? she said she might get some sort of counseling and i dont wanna lose her if they do anything to keep her away from older guys. i'm not like the bad kind of guy. it's just something about her makes me feel all warm inside.. WOAHHHHHHH...i realize that 5 years is not much of a difference...but when you're dealing with a 10 year old and a 15 year old...it might as well be decades apart. What is she in...4th grade?? I'm sorry to say it (i dont want to be rude...but thats soo disturbing). My sister is 10 years old, and if some 15 year old tried to go out with her, or kiss her, i would have him killed.
I relaly dont mean to be rude...but you reallllllly need to find someone your own age.

Our new neighbors just came yesterday! I was excited because I thought there would be kids and that I could hang around with (considering that the only kids in my neighbor hood are 19+)
Well I was playing fetch with my dog in the lawn this morning and they came! they have 2 dogs so my dog went crazy and ran after them. I went to go get my dog and I met the lady. She has a 4 month son and she asked me if I was interested in babysitting him. I agreed because i could really use the money.
problem?? I'VE NEVER BABYSAT IN MY LIFE!!!
I'm so nervous now! we haven't scheduled a day yet but i'm asking you people here for advice.
What am I supposed to do with a 4 month boy? Do I just feed him and then watch TV or something??

Well since he is only 4 months old...the only thing you could really do with him is hold him...maybe bounce him and tickle him, and talk to him in like a baby voice. He will probably end up going to sleep early...in which case you can just watch TV, or read a book or something.

It kind of depends on each person...
I have my second hole pierced...and yes it hurt but not thatt bad...it was like a pinch, and it goes away in a few seconds.
It shouldnt be bad.

ok i'm 13/f (recently turned 13) ok i havn't gotten my period yet, but i have everything like pucic hair, under arm hair, and a little developement of boobs. well lately my voice has been acting weird like when i'm talking to my friends or family my voice is fine but when i talkin front of teachers or in front of class, then my voice goes weird like a need to clear it. also since i live with my dad i dont shave anywhere, and all my other friends do- and they even ask me why i dont shave, and it puts me in a bad position. cause its really weird to talk to him about AND I CAN'T TALK TO ANYONE ELSE! and i need details about period things, any web sites or links will be great as well but please tell me as much as possible. please a.s.a.p. thank u (link)

Unfortunatly, there is no way to make your boobs grow (its genetic) and those stupid pills deffinatly dont work.
However, you can use a push up bra, or a padded bra, which will give you the effect of bigger boobs.
However, if it makes you feel better, I wear a size C, and i wish i was smaller (i'm 16). It makes it really hard to wear halters w/o looking like a slut, and my tanktops always slop down and show wayyy to much cleavage...i wish i was smaller.

hi! i have braces, and i would like to whiten my teeth, but i've been told that you're not supposed to use the kind of teeth whitening stuff that you kind of paint on. but I was wondering, is there any other way I can whiten my teeth? can i use the strips or is there a kind of toothpaste or ANYTHING?

Well you probably shoudlnt whiten your teeth while you have braces on, because then you would have squares on your teeth that arent as white, when you get your braces removed. Once you get them removed, you should use the Crest Whitening Strips (i heard they work REALLY well), but until then, (while you still have braces on) you should use just regular whitening toothpaste (like crest).

Go to your phone book (like the Yellow Pages) and go to party rentals and then just call down that list...i'm Suree that they would have what you're looking for, and if you call more than 1 place...you can also compare prices.
I dont know any specific places (i live in NY, so we probably dont have to same party rental people)...sorry.

well i'm also 16, and i've been looking at cars too. I think that if you look on websites for cars like hondas, hudais, acuras etc. They all have reasonably priced cars, and they are all safe.
