Helping Orphans
I really want to start some sort of project that i can help orphans. Does anyone know of any organizations in or around Westchester NY???
I am up to doing any sort of project, weather it be like a buddy kind of program (hanging out with orphaned children) or improving orphanages...anyyything.
I'm 16/f (if that helps)

I'm not sure about any organazations but you should look online for a local orphanage and
then get their phone number and call them. The best way to find out what you can do is ask the people who are in charge who could probably refer you to an organazation or invite you in to help cheer the kids up. If you can't find an organazation you should just get a group of friends, come up with an idea for a fundraiser like a bake sale, car wash, garage sale, or anything and donate the money to the orphanage near you.

I'm doing the same thing right now, looking for organizations to help out in.
Thank god we have Google, right? Just type in "orphanages in westchester, NY" and I'm sure the website would say if they have any organization to help the children.
