Okay, my jack russel just had one puppy. So, he was born today, and there's a problem. The mother won't let him feed and kicks him. So we tried to hold her down to let him feed and she'll just squirm till she gets let loose. So we went to the vet and she said that she just might not have the mother instinct, considering that she's only one year. So she told us that we'll have to make the mother feed at least once a day and use formula for the rest of the day. And also, since the mother won't keep her warm, we have to keep her on a heating pad to keep him warm, and we also have to wet his anus and penis ti stimulate him to make him go to the bathroom. So if we continue to have to manually do this to the puppy, what are the odss of him living? (link)
|
Your jack russel is just a puppy herself, and isn't ready to be a mother, which explains this behavior. Listen to exactly what the vet says, and keep trying to get your dog to be more motherly. She'll pick up on it, hopefully. It's nature. If you take care of the puppy properly like a mother would, than he stands a very good chance of living.
Good luck to you and your puppy!

Ok, I'll start off by saying I'm in college and I've only really had one real relationship in college that lasted about 6 months. There's this girl across the room in class that I think keeps looking at me and I think is really cute and nice, but we never seem to make eye contact (we have a couple times though). She doesn't have facebook or myspace, so I cant tell if she has a boyfriend or not and I'm too shy to just go up and talk to her. I found out though that she's graduating in May (I'm here for another year), so I have 2 problems; I dont really know what to say to her or how to approach her. And time is of the essence, because I really want to talk to her before she leaves to see if something comes of it. How can I just go up and approach her? What would you like for me to do from a girl's perspective? Thanks (link)
|
If this girl likes you, than she is probably sitting there looking at you waiting for you to make a move. So take a deep breath, because were just as nervous if not more about guys and dating as you are.
Girls like guys who are confident but not cocky, nice but not a kiss up, charming, funny, and sweet. Most of the time we can tell if guys are being "posers", so don't try to be something you are not with this girl, because she can see right thru it.
If your in the same class, approach her afterwards and ask if she understood so and so about what you learned that day, or if you could borrow her notes because you missed part of class. Talk about class, and lean into a more fun conversation, and make her laugh. I know when I meet someone who can make me laugh, I want to be around them a lot and feel myself graviating towards them. Even flirt, a little! But not physically, yet, because you don't know if she's taken or not.
If you two really hit it off, ask her if she wants to go out for coffee or maybe have a study date. Or theres always parties going on, see if you can meet up with her at one of them.
All that you really have to do is put yourself out there, smile, and be genuine. She'll notice the effort your making and appreciate it. If you really screw up, just say it straight forward. "Im really sorry, Its hard for me to talk to girls sometimes." and say it with a smile. This might even put her at ease, knowing your just as nervous as she may be.
Of course, find out if she has a boyfriend first. Ask one of her friends, or even her, if she has a boyfriend. Like if you are going to a party, ask if she and her boyfriend want to come.
Really, it about being yourself. Sorry for trailing on so much, lol.
I hope that helped, and if you need more advice or me to be more specific, feel free to email me or ask again :)
Good luck!

okay well i'm always paranoid that it's going to "smell" I do clean down there, but is there anythin i can use or techinc?(sp?) (link)
|
Most of the time, washing in the shower is fine to cover any smell, but for those who it is not, they have cleansing cloths, creams, and deoderants for "down there". Dont use anything not meant for that area, because it is sensitive.

Latly my bf has been driving me nuts with anything he does. It could be as simple as him rubbing my arm or my leg. I'm at the verge of wanting to break up with him because it's making me crazy. I'm thinking the problem is that we spend way too much time together and that I need a break from him. (Not an actual break, just spend less time together) Or it could be something else. I'm pretty sure that's what's wrong though. I don't know how to explain to him that we need to have space from each other because he'll never understand. I already tried telling him that he should hangout with other people when he can't see me and he took that the wrong way. I don't want to hurt his feelings but I can't take it any longer. Btw, he's 17 and I'm 15. (link)
|
It sounds like your boyfriend wants a serious relationship and you just want fun. But people need to maintain a healthy space to have a relationship, so try some space. You dont have to make an ordeal about it, but hang out with friends instead of him sometimes, and tell him you need time with the girls. If you spend time apart, it will also make things more special the next time you see it.

ughh im so pissed, my basketball team's whole season was totally defeated. and we were against a team today of people i knew from school so it was kinda sad too that we won and i owe my friend on that team 50 cents! (lol) i mean.. i play just for fun but idk.. like theres this guy who was at the game who sits next to me for like 2 classes and i dont wanna get embarrased over it. i mean why am i worrying so much some seasons are good and some arent. like for soccer the first time i played in the thingy we lost most of our games and then the next season we were totally undefeated and the same for the next............... stillll! i feel a little sad... we got the "participation medals" woot! [/sarcasm]
like its gonna be a little weird tomorrow.. like how do i really deal with it or just forget the fact that we lost and act like myself?? :( also other advice relating to this, and thnx.
ps= didnt know which category to put this in? (link)
|
Forget that you lost. Act normal. If someone brings it up, laugh it off and make a joke. If its just for fun, than its all in good laughs.

Okay I didn't know what to put this under.
But sometimes I don't have my period when I should. I am 14/f.
Yes I am a virgin but sometimes it will skip a whole month and then in the middle of the next it starts. So I never really know when it's gonna happen. Sometimes I get so scared that it won't come back and something is wrong. I dont have anyone to talk to this about because I live with my dad, he has no g/f or anythign and it would be odd. Is anythign wrong with me or is that normal ? (link)
|
Your totally normal (if your a virgin)
It is normal for girls and women to have irregular periods, it can be caused by change in diet, lack of sleep, your hormones, or just how your body is working at the time.
If your sexually active, an irregular period can be a sign of pregnancy or an STD, so if you ever are, make sure you stay safe.

Hi.
Do any of you have any really good suggestions on what sounds good with Cara. I only want girl name suggestions since i already have boy names picked out. Her middle name will be Juliana after a combo of my moms first and middle names (Julie and Ann. Maybe another C name but that is not a must.
Thank you and have a great day =] (link)
|
Try babynames.com for a ton of names. Since Juliana and Cara are common names, why not go for a unique first name? Or maybe a name that goes with you or your partners ethnic background? I got my name because Im Irish :) (my REAL name isn't Abby) If you want that, you can google it and easily find a great list (ex: French Baby Girl Names)
This is on my girl list at babynames.com (you can upload a list and keep track of them) maybe you'll find something you like:
Aeryn (or Erin, Eryn)
Felicity
Elyssa
Nicole
Anastacia
Charlotte
Riley (Rileigh, Rylee)
Calista
Caroline
Mackenzie
Kayleigh (Kailey, Kaylee)
Lorelai (Loralei)
Daisy
Chloe
Rose
Elizabeth
Abigail
Lily
Lynn
Lindsey
Blaze
Logan
Emma
Emily
Emeline
Madison
There is also a name generator on the website that randomly fires names at you, lol, its quite fun as well as idea forming.
Good luck with you and your baby!

hi, well im 15, and male. im going to do work experience in may, which is organised by the school, and i might have to go for an interview. im probabaly going to get a resterant. So, what do i wear? should i remain casual, or smart? because im only 15, do i need to go there will a full blown suit, cufflinks and all? thanks in advance (link)
|
How casual is the interview going to be? I doubt, since you are in high school and this is for work experience, you'll need to be totally formal.
Dress "smart". Dress pants or khakis, and a collared shirt/polo. Maybe even wear a tie if its more formal. But wear dress shoes, always.
Good luck with your interview!

I'm in a really small university class (only 31 of us in my year of my program).
Lately I've had a really bad rough patch; I was helping one friend out of an abusive relationship, and another friend out of an accidental pregnancy, so that was stressing me out. Added on to this was the fact that I suffer from depression, I'm having serious financial issues, and I've been fighting a lot with my boyfriend (who I live with).
I've had one prof who has really been amazing. When I missed a lot of class, he e-mailed and even called, to make sure I was allright. He's copied out notes that I've missed for me, and he isn't holding my absence against me. He's been really concerned about me, and it's meant a lot to me.
I really want to do something nice for him, but I don't know what. He's in his fifties (I think) and he's a math professor.
The only problem is that I can't really spend much, so storebought gifts are pretty much out of the question.
Any ideas for what to do to thank a professor who goes far beyond his regular duties as an instructor? (link)
|
Write him a letter, sincerely thanking him for everything he has done. He'll see how thankful and grateful you are. Sending flowers sounds like a good thing to do, but do you do that for a guy? Lol
Good luck!

I have been having sex with a guy for about 5 months now that I have been really good friends with for years. I love him very much. I also lost my virginity to him. He is 21 and I just turned 18. He doesnt want a relationship but he hasnt exactly been acting like a friend to me either. I do everything I can for him, but he wont go anywhere with me.... just his apartment when no one else is there. He has had less and less contact with me lately, and acts like he cares, but my best friends (who are friends with him too) tell me he is using me and its a waste of my time and to stop talking to him totally. I dont know what to do and how to completely stop talking to him if thats what I should do. It hurts so much. When I try not to talk to him, I end up talking to him within a matter of days. But he doesnt call, we barely see eachother, we just text all the time cept weekends because then hes out with his friends getting trashed and doing drugs. I am going over to his apartment tomorrow to talk to him and hes making me dinner (like he always does). What do I do? (link)
|
It sounds like this guy just wants sex with no strings attatched, and your doing that for him. If you don't mind that, than its okay, but if it hurts you, than you need to get out of this toxic relationship.
When you see him, talk to him. Ask what he wants, and tell him what you want. Tell him you don't like being used for sex, and if thats all he want's, you can't be there for him. If you continue this, it will just keep hurting you. Stand up for yourself.
Good luck!

What kind of job's can I get at the age of 14 for a female? (link)
|
You can babysit, be a paper girl, work at some resturants (not the chain ones, but i bet you can get a job at a locally owned resturant), some stores in the mall hire at 14, or if you belong to a church or something, they might hire you to do some work around it.

I'm in love with a grown man, sometimes it feels as though he may like me too, but I can't do much about it because he's one of my teachers and I just found out he was married while overhearing a conversation he was having with someone else... he's never mentioned it to me... but I love him, and this hurts and being around him hurts and i can't stop thinking about him and he's such a sweet guy and we get along great.. i've tried avoiding him, but that messes up my whole day and I feel like shit. What can I do?
19/f (link)
|
I know it sounds harsh, but you must get over him. Obviously, he's married, and there is no chance between you two, but other than that, he is your teacher. Do you know how much legal trouble that could be with even the hint that you like him? In the school system, they take things seriously. The only thing you can have with him is a friendship, so focus on that. There is no proven way to get over a guy, but to just wait it out. Going on dates and finding other guys to crush on can help you move on as well. Don't let this hurt you or stop you from enjoying yourself. It just sounds like a crush so it should be over soon anyway.
Good luck

**I hit my boyfriend yesterday, i didnt mean to hit him that hard. I slapped him in the face really hard, left a mark, plus it was really loud.
**I did it out of anger and surprise, we've been going out forever, but it really was stupid of me to overreact that way.
**He called me fat- kinda, he used the word "plump" which i hate.
**So, I was really pissed for a while and after school I realized that he was too. Instead of stopping where we usually do to hang out, he sped up kinda walking in front of me and didnt hold my hand. Then he looked back and saw that i was hur and was all sweet and comforting, but somehow I was still mad him.
**On the phone, he said that he was only joking and that I took him too seriously. I said I was sorry today.
**I've been in a really bad abusive realtionship before and its nothing like the way I treat my boyfriend, sometimes he'll say "You're abusive" and it really makes me mad because Im weaker and hardly ever hit him. My ex used to punch, kick, cut, and rape me, so slapping my boyfriend a few times when he's being a jerk doesnt phase me as abuse.
Today: He was working and its my little bros 6th bday. I was really busy when he called on his break to talk to me, he could tell I was busy, it was loud and there was a lot of commotion so he was like "you sound busy." and I told him I was and had to go he said "OK" but sounded kinda mad about it. So iwas like bye, Ilove you, but all I heard was a click. I know he didnt hear me say Bye and I love you or he would have responded. But he didnt say bye or I love you to me like he ALWAYS does.
***So, finally, here's my question: How do I get out of this "abusive" cycle, and is it really abusive? Do you think he's still mad at me, he's the best thing ive ever had and i never want to lose or hurt him. (link)
|
I don't think your really being abusive, most of this sounds like misunderstandngs and miscommunicaton. Next time your alone with your bf, talk to him about it all. Apologize for your behavior if it hurt him at all, and talk to him about what hurts you. Try to reach an understanding and make your relationship better. But to avoid things like this, think about things before you do them. I promise it will help.
Good luck!

http://i19.tinypic.com/48409dc.jpg
these are just random pictures of people that i found on the internet.
anyway. most people w/ these haircuts do it themselves.. but i cant. haha so how exactly can i get a haircut like this? like what are some super good hair salons that can do this for you is what im trying to ask i guess. and what exactly should i say to them about how to do it besides giving them a photo. thankss so much!
(link)
|
Ask around at school what hair salons people recommend (see if they have a good haircut first, lol)
As for the cut, deff bring your pictures and describe the main points which are:
-The volume at the top
-Piecey layers
-Stick straight strips of hair
-choppy bangs
-thickness
You might want a salon that seems to match your needs. Like, you may want a salon that has young employees with hair styles simmilair to the one you want instead of one with older employees who are more conversative and used to older clients. But usually, if its a good salon, they can do anything.
Good luck!

I'm a 19 year old girl.
I'm going to see The Phantom of the Opera on Saturday, and I'm really excited!
Thing is, I have no idea what to wear. I've been to the theatre before, but never to a more formal show like this... to give you an idea, I've seen Mamma Mia, Da Kink In My Hair, and Beauty and the Beast.
I have two different outfits that I could use;
1: Dress pants, nice tank top, 3/4 length heavy cotton jacket (kind of dressy)
OR
2: Black halter chiffon dress, knee length, with black shoulder scarf
If it helps at all, my boyfriend's wearing a black suit with a white shirt.
Thanks for your help! (link)
|
Go with something that can be formal or semi casual so you dont look out of place. Black dress pants or maybe beche (sp?), a nice top, heels, and a jacket to match the pants that you can remove and replace with a sweater instead if its more casual.
Have Fun!

For the dance team at my school we have to learn double spins, working on triple spins. I think its just where you spin in a circle on like your left foot, and while spinning, your right leg is bent and you put your right foot on your left knee. Sorry if that's confusing. So my question is, is that how you do them? And are your arms supposed to be at your side, out to the side, or in? Please just explain to me everything you know about double spins! Also, if that is how it is supposed to be done, I cant do it! I can spin around one time but then I lose my balance what should I do about that? Please help me! It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. (link)
|
In ballet atleast, arms are in front of you in a elegant circle. I think you mean a Pirouette or a fuette (sp?). The spinning is just a motion your body does naturally, and you have to practice and perfect your balance.
Good luck!

I am trying out for the Poms team at my school. Tryouts are on Saturday, March 17th. There are tryout clinics the 14th, 15th, and 16th. Those are just to learn what is expected at tryouts. Anyways, I have to have my right and left splits down for one of the requirements, but it turns out they check your splits on the 14th instead of the actual tryout day, which I wasn't aware of until yesterday. I am extremely close, and I can go all the way down, but my back knee is kind of bent. I want to make the team so bad! Any advice on how to get better at my splits in a short time? I stretch a lot and try to go further every day. Please help!!! Thanks so much! I honestly would love to hear anything at all that you think might help :] (link)
|
Your doing the right thing so far. Do NOT try to push it to hard so that you can do it perfectly by that day if you are not ready. Im cheerleading captain at my school, and I know what pushing it to far can do. You'll end up hurting yourself and wont be able kto join the team at all.
Everyday stretch out for fifteen minutes, and do some warmups like dancing to help loosen you up further. Than slowly go into your splits, perfecting it each time. After working on it, stretch again and walk around for five minutes.
It works for me.
Good luck!

How do you make your armpit look nice, and no hair like celeberties? Like celebs when they sing or something and on movies they always raise their arms and like it's all clear, no hair, and you can't even see like dots of hair starting to grow! It's like they never grew armpit hair!
I know you would say wax, but then the next day hair will start to grow but it can't wax it because you can only see little dots. (link)
|
Celebirities can do a lot of things to make that area look great. But naturally, some people just have bumps and cant help it. Celebs wax (you have to wait til your hair is a certain length, and you can be hair free from waxing usually for a minmum of two weeks and max of six)
Or they use a depiliary (sp) that just melts the hair away (like nair, i believe)
or they get laser treatment which permanantly burns the hair, but it is a little painful (like a rubber band snap, i've heard) and is very expensive.
Celebirties are also extremely airbrushed, so what you see isnt always the truth.

I am 16/f. I have seen this guy around my school for about two weeks now and hes really cute! But I never know what to say to him. He's mostly always with his friends. And I know like none of them well enough to say "hey hook me with me up with your friend". So I was just wondering what are some clever ways to talk to him and what are some good converstations starters knowing nothing about each other? How should I get to know him? This is also kind of urgent he's a senior so I have 3 months to get to know him. I know that's a lot of time to most people but I'm really shy so I need time to just work up enough courage to say something to him. (link)
|
Do some research. Find out what he's into or something you have in common. If he's in a club, join it. If he plays sports, go to practices and games. Try to sit near him whenever you can, and make jokes about whats going on to break the ice. Or see if you have any friends who know him or his friends, and try to get a big group togehter. Be friendly and funny. Ask casual questions, let him know your interested but not stalker-ish. Or get his screen name from a friend, and start with, Oh Hey, I know your friend so and so and thought i'd say hi, etc.
Just go for it.
