It's tough when you are that young to get an actual job. You can also do it for friends or neighbors. [ chuckweed007's advice column | Ask chuckweed007 A Question ]
DearAbby92 answered Thursday March 15 2007, 1:30 am: You can babysit, be a paper girl, work at some resturants (not the chain ones, but i bet you can get a job at a locally owned resturant), some stores in the mall hire at 14, or if you belong to a church or something, they might hire you to do some work around it.
dottie4 answered Thursday March 15 2007, 12:30 am: You could probaly babysit. I started babysitting at 12. Just next time you go to the grocery store, put up a little flyer about that. You could also mow lawns. If you want a regular job, sometimes you can get a workers permit. Your school has to sign for it though. Ask your counseler about it. A lot of places like Walmart may hire you. You could even make your own business. May sound weird... when I was your age, I had a job going around the neighborhood picking up dog poop. hope I came of some help.
