Q: ok...so i know this guy named "brownie" lol and he is soooo nice!we talk on the internet 24/ 7 to eachother and we say hi to eachother but it seems like i cant talk to him in person...i get all tonguetied...we go to diff. schools and he is one grade below me!!i also told him on the internet that i liked him...now im super embaressed!!!

Well if you want something to happen between you two you need to start talking more. Just crack a joke, or talk about something funny that you had talked about online. To ease up the tension...hes probabaly just as nervous as you! So just go for it, you might have something here! good luck!

Q: I go to a private school, and my friend did also, but then she went public. i still keep in touch with her and she is still a really great friend. But now i have this other great friend in school with me and i'm not sure wiether to think she is a better friend or not. Should i replace her? is it bad that i do not feel as close to my previous best friend?

Its not bad. Dont think of it as "replacing" her think of it as having a new friend. No matter what you'll always be friends with the other girl, and its okay to find new friends! So dont worry about it.

Q: sorry if this is long, but there is this guy that i like and we used to go out. he now has a girlfriend but i dont care, i still like him. This one girl likes him, so someone asked if he would ever go out with her and he said no. but then this girl asked if he would ever go back out with me and he smiled nad said "umm .. i gotta get to class" so the next day the girl asked again and so he was like "umm .. i gotta girlfriend" so he didnt say yes or no. Do you htink i still have a chance?

Well, hes kinda giving mixed signals but I believe that he does like you but he has a girlfriend so thats getting in the way. Wait till the break up (which probably wont take long) and make your move. I totally believe you have a chance so good luck !

Its something on advicenators that detecs wrong spelling/grammer. Like if you had in your question or answer: "lyke" "dis" "boii" stuff like that. It help advicenators because we want to understand what your saying! So just spell right and you should be fine. Hope I helped!

Q: Ok I have gotten advice for it being ok for liking a boy in a grade younger than myself..but that is not my question. Its spring break for my school this week and I asked the boy I like (lets call him Jay) I was like Jay I think we should do something over break Jay: ya I think we should Me: Like a movie or something Jay: ya! that would be awesome! I am going to one tuesday you should come! Awww how cute. Yes I think he likes you, he said he wanted you to go! Congrats and have a good time. Talk to him a lot at the movies, let him know your intrested and when your done with the movies or whatever..tell him you and him should hang out again. Why would he say no if he said yes the first time? Have a great time at the movies :)

Q: i babysit this 11 yr old boy, max and i am 13/f he is taller than me and is quite mature for his age. the thing is latley he's been acting really strange. he asked me if i had my period yet and i tried to change the subject but he was persistant. oh, and the other night we were watching a movie at his house (lion king) and he is younger than me so he like layed down on me and pretended to be asleep. then i fell asleep too. when i woke up he was like all over me and touching my boobs. i dont know what to do. his parents pay well and i need the money badly. should i tell his parents, will they hire me agian? should i talk to him? I think you should first tell him that your not intrested and that if he does it again, you'll tell his parents. If he does do it again, then tell the parents! thats sexual assault even though hes only 11. I know you need the money badly but are you gonna take sexual harrasment from a 11 year old just for money? Good luck ! Update me if you can!

Q: my boobs hurt all the time, i dont really mind when a guy touches them it just is SO painfull for me. is there any home remidies or anything i could do to relieve the pain?

Maybe your wearing a tight bra or your bra isint comfortable enough. Or your boobs may be growing a lot, so just take advil or tylenol for the pain and wait a few hours ! I hate when my boobs hurt and when I take advil it usally goes away!

Q: My boyfriend and I really like each other but we don't exactly like each other’s friends.

My friends are the normal, get along with everyone, don't drink too too much, aren't slut/whores/man whores type.

His are the go to every party they can, get as drunk as they can, stuck up, screw everyone that comes along type.

"Popularity" wise, our friends as on the same level I guess you could say. We're all the "Abercrombie preppy" type and go to some of the same parties. I just don't like the way his friends act and he doesn't like how my friends don't act.

He isn't completely like his friends but he also isn't as "reserved" as mine. And Vice versa with me; I'm not as "reserved" as mine but also not as crazy as his.

Well, even though I don't really like his friends I'm still nice to them. He isn't as nice with my friends. He's always ignoring them and he actually tries not to talk to them. I don't really mind that he doesn't like them because I don't like his friends but it makes me mad when he isn't nice to them. I mean, he isn't mean but he could be nicer, ya know?

I was thinking of throwing a party for only his friends and mine so they could get to know each other more and then they might not hate each other so much. But I don't think I'll do that because I know my friends and his friends and they wont be into it.

And by the way, his friends are okay with me but my friends don't like him too much but they are nice to him.

Just tell your boyfriend that its really important to you that he would be nice. And tell him he doesnt have to hang out with them or be the best of friends..just that he has to be a nice person around them. Friends usally screw up relationships, so try to stick to your relationship and not have friends influence you breaking up or anything ! The party is a great idea, they can get to all know eachother..and who knows..maybe they'll even like hanging out? They just have to have a chance to meet them. And the party will definatley do that. Q: my sis' sweet 16 is coming up and my mom and i wanted to surprise her with a few things. im gonna make a powerpoint about her thru the years but i need to find a song about friends. i cant find any that really "work". me and my sis always fight but i wanna do sumthing nice cuz its a special occasion. ne1 no of any songs about friends?

I think you should play Hilary Duff's "Sweet 16" song. It talks about being 16 and all the things that go with it..its not exactly about friends but it IS her sweet 16!

There is no such thing as a code for that. You just need to get a bigger background, sorry about that!

Q: OK ive been to a few sweet 16's this year and everyone has the same thing : music and food for like 3-4 hours. People who arent the dancing queens and are dancing all night..tend to say they are bored, etc. For mine..i def dont want that to happen.

Is it a cool idea to go swimming for 2 hours at the hotel(im having my party there) with my closer friends ..then a half hour later the actual party starts? There are showers and i could bring a hair dryer (its a nice place) so my friends could do my hair so its not sopping wet. Also, there are a ton of pretty cool games i found off the internet which i was figuring would keep everyone happy.

Examples are :

(twister,hula hoop contest,game where two teams and together as a train..everyone has to walk to the finish line in single file while everyone has a bananna they have to get across without using their hands..they have to press it against the backs of the other ppl,

guy belly dancing contest, dancing/singing contest,pinata,limbo, and the human string relay, where there are two teams in a single file line. The first person has a spoon tied to yarn, and they have to put it down their shirt and pants..pass it back..same thing happens,,whoever is done first wins, "Roast" where people get up and tell funny story about guest of honor (me), game where as guests come in..you give them a necklace and tell them if they say any form of "yes" then the person who hears that can take their necklace away..person with most necklaces at the end wins.

for all these games i was thinking spending $50 on prizes for the night and for the winners i would hand out prizes

I thought of a good idea. Well after the swimming, everyone get ready to go out and do a scavenger hunt around the hotel. Like you have 20 people so split them up 2 teams of 10. Give them a list of things they have to find around the hotel (hotel soap, hotel pen, whatever) and they have to meet back at the lobby in 45 min or a hour. Everyone loves scavenger hunts! Those games you listed are pretty cool..but I think the scavenger hunt would be something no one has done and it would be really fun searching for the things around the hotel. I hope you have a great sweet 16 !

Q: Lately i have been sad and mad.. basically depressed. all i wanted to do is cry and i couldnt even enjoy easter... thats the day when i get PRESENTS FOR MY GOSH DARN B-day!! my b-days april 16th... anywayz, the only time i was havin fun was when i was outside...like when me and my brother were playin frisbee or when me and my friend and my neice and just everybody was outside it was fun!! but thats just because i miss havin my brothers live with me and the only reason i enjoyed being out there was that my bro was out there with me like "old tmes" i just dont kno why im soo sad or mad!! please help!! i dont even kno why im sad or mad!!

Its normal. As teenagers we go through all these different moods and cry for the stupidest reasons, yell at people for stupid reasons, and stuff. You'll get over it, stop focusing so much on being mad/sad..go do something with friends ! hang out at the mall, movies, whatever! Its just a stage so dont worry. I hope everything works out !!

Q: i was thinking about who i would call up for my candle ceramony for my sweet 16..i counted 12 relatives, and the other 4 spaces would be for my friends. Problem! I have 3 friends i know im definately going to call up..but thenn there is only one more space left..and i have some other pretty close friends! :/ how doo i not hurt their feelings!

Thats a tough one. You have 12 relatives for sure? Cant you get more people than just 16? i know its your sweet 16 but your sweet 16 should be with all the people you love. And you dont want to hurt anyones feelings. Thats pretty much all you can do, or you can take some relatives out...but their your family. Yeah i think you should invite more than 16 people.

Q: ok im 13 female and i started cutting because family and friend problems and i stopped 4 like 2 weeks and then i got so mad and deprest i cut again and now i want to really bad but i promised myself i wouldnt do it again because im scared someones going to find out about it and send me to a mental home or something beause of it and i have thought about killing myself one or twice but i havent gone threw with it yet but i trie to hide it from my mom and my teachers so i dont wear shorts or anything and i wear a jacket most the time so that no one see the scares but i really need help and i was going to tell someone about it but im to scared so can anyone give me advise because i could really use some right now??? please help

Its great that you wanted to tell someone, if you really want help the first big step is telling someone about your problems! A teacher you trust? A parent? An older cousin, aunt, sister? Someone you trust and know that he/she will help you. You dont want to do this forever you know, and the only way to stop is if you get help. So tell someone or search google for a teen hotline you can call and talk to. Well if you were 18 and he/she was 24 it would be okay. If you were 20 and he was 26, it would be okay. If your younger than 18 then its not okay! I know you makes you feel wonderful but if your 13, 14, 15, or even 16 then thats definatley not something you should mess around with. Lots of guys try to go for the younger girls and stuff..but its just too dangerous.

I dont think you should become friends. Lets say you go back out with your ex, and are friends with the other guy..and he starts liking you, and then you start liking him. Causes all drama...tell him to wait and see what happens. Then you can decide if you still wanna be friends. update me if u can !

Q: i've gotten everything... sweaty armpits... can't fit into shoes.. pubic hair... vaginal discharge... everything! i went to the doctors last year in march or april... and they said my period would be coming in about 6 months - a year... and its the end of march now and it still hasn't come... my discharge has been heavy lately... how much longer will i have to wait

We wont know for sure! But why are you so anxious to get your period? When you eventually do have it, you'll hate it. For some people its not that bad...its just so annoying! I was anxious at too at first, we all are..but truly, its nothing fun or anything! You'll get your period when you get it, so for now just have fun and relax and be happy that you dont have it yet. And since the discharge is coming heavier thats a sign that it might be coming soon!

Q: okay, there was a party last night and i became friends with this boy, i kissed him on the lips as a joke, and then he said "come with me to the bathroom" i brought my friend with me, and then he started kissing me. what should i have done?

No its not a big deal. He likes you! If you like him too, maybe you should get his number or something. Start a relationship. Its not a big deal unless you didnt even wanna make out with him. So yeah....try to contact him or something :)

Q: My mother is triplegic (meaning that she can't walk, and that she can't use one of her arms very well). Recently, I was taken out of my mother's home, and now she lives alone. In the past two years, she has moved twice. the first time she had a lung failure and my familly decided that she needed to move closer to us so that we could keep an eye on her. The second time, she got evicted. Now they are raising her rent (which was already too high for her to live comforatably) and she's worried that she's going to get evicted again. She's only forty seven, and she's been bed ridden since 21, and has gotten aid from Medicaid, and Medicare, but that won't be enough for this I'm afraid. After this house, she'll have nowhere left to go, and our house is too small ( we have seven people, a dog, and a cat)for her to live with us( and we are to poor to move either.) I don't want my mother to have to move into a rest home. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I love my mother soooooooooo much! Please don't delete my question, I really really really need some help!!!

Wow, I'm sorry. There is no close-by apartment where she can live. There are plenty of low-income apartments and such...and even though they are not the nicest to be in. She will have a home and will be close to you. I'm pretty sure you can find an apartment, in a reasonable price range, with an okay-neighbor hood...just look around. Dont give up. How about when she moves into the home, you can still look and if you find something...check her out!
