Well you get a facial cream with 'exfoliate' on it. It's just a cream with little beads in it that you scrub on your face.
You could use a loofah sponge thingy.
You would have to rub the lotion in.. for a couple of minutes.
I went straight to the loofah sponge and I ended up with a raw cheek .. and the lotion burned
I think maybe it's the lotion you are using.
I have 'Gold Bond Ultimate Healing'
A skin therapy lotion.
It can heal extremely dry/cracked/irritated skin.
I don't think body lotion would work.

i dont whether its the dry winter weather or prescription acne cream but anyway my face especially my cheeks, forehead and around my lips are peeling alot so i was wondering how often i should exfoliate my skin? i use lotion i was using cetaphil which worked pretty well but i ran out of the sample and a tub thing is expensive so ive jus been usin body lotion on my face and it doesnt seem to do anything really!

So supposedly, you're supposed to do that 1-2 times a week.
I had this happen about 2 days ago.
So get a lotion and use a lot of it, rub it into all the dried out spots. Wait for your skin to soak it in and continue putting lotion on (in the same hour or some time later)Just do it.. at least 3 times because you really need some moisture.
**Water does not help.
**It will be best to take a shower and then put lotion on.
**Don't wear any makeup. Foundation/powder will make it worse.
**Use a light moisturizer in the morning.
Before you go to bed.. put a lot of lotion on over night.

Okay. Me and my boyfriend made out at the movies the other day. It's the first time that either of us had made out, so we didn't exactly know how. So, we were kissing and when we were done, our faces were both drenched in drool. I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen. What are we doing wrong?

Well it's a bone, you can't really change that unless you go for surgery.
Some people suck in the sides of their mouth to make it look 'good' but it really looks weird.

15/f. how can i improve my handwriting? i hate mine because i tend to connect a lot of my letter, but not in a cursive sort of way. so what are some things i can do to improve my handwriting.
also what can i do to increase my writing speed? i right sooooo slow. lol and it is really annoying when i have to take notes in class. i guess in order to write fast i don't have to worry about neatness, but it has to be readable =]

This happened to me.
But I wrote fast and horrible.. with letters connecting.
Just practice and try different styles.
Practice practice! You will get the hang of it. Start off by writing a letter to a friend.. you can take your sweet time. Slowly change when doing your work in class.
It's okay to write slow. You just have to have quick movements and be sure your pencil comes off the paper [instead off it dragging along.. connecting letters]
If you're doing notes.. it's easier to read & put it in bullet form or draw a small picture.
Or shortened words [with chat speak?]

I found out writing in all caps (or well, almost) helped me.. write clearer.

get a vitamin called Biotin (you get healthier nails, skin, hair)
try to avoid split ends so don't brush you hair after your shower unless it's a wide tooth comb
and limit blowdrying/straightening/anything heat related.
You could get a trim to get split ends off but it really makes hair shorter so..
just shampoo and condition.

To the parents of teenage kids out there(meaning 13,14,15 year olds), you know your kids are smoking, popping, doing drugs and partying. Do you care? Do you try to stop them? , i'm really curious, becuase now-a-days it seems like everyone's doing it, and there parents dont even care.
I think parents do care but it would be a lot of drama to try and stop them. It would be.. protective parents trying to hold you back.
Me? I don't do any of that. My parents offered me drinks, weed, etc. I refused.
My parents think it's better to try things before hitting the 'real world' so you don't crash and burn.
Come on your parents were kids once. They probably smoked and did drugs and hid it the way their children are doing it.
Like if you're smoking in your room and you spray perfume or burn incense w/ your window open. Obviously they would know.
And they could probably smell cigs off clothing but refuse to say anything because they are in denial or just don't want to bring it up at all.
Like a girl tries booze. [Parents let her] She would know how much she can handle and how long it will take for her to get drunk. So if she's at a college party.. she would know how many drinks she can have and escape from a possible date rape.
Some parents are clueless because they want to give their children space.
Not everyone's doing it though. Some people pretend to. Some parents just let them though. Like every once and a while I suppose.
Parents do try to stop them with grounding and what not. Doesn't do much.. but they are trying.

earlier people on here were telling me that if you mix baking soda and water together then put it on your face is will dry up your pimples. Does this really work?
and someone also said putting alcohol on them will make them go away.
the first thing.. could work but there's always a chance to get more acne.
I know some people that swear by it. It seems to work but maybe not for everyone.
You could put alcohol on it but it dries out your skin like hell. It also burns and makes your face red [acne as well]

i want to strip my hair of its color. i reread over and over this hair color removal online stuff but my sister is 23 and was like "never buy that stuff offline". and so is there any thing i can use that i can get at like kmart or some store to get the dye out of my hair?
Get a color stripper. You can look for one at Kmart/Sally's Beauty Supply.
Don't bleach your hair yourself because your hair could fall out and becomes extremely damaged as hell.
You could buy stuff online but do you know anyone that has used it?
You can do a dish soap cap or a shampoo one. It takes some color out.

Lately, I kinda have been wanting a thong or like something pretty much like it. Just the thing is im kinda too embarrassed to get one. and if my parents ever saw it (mostly my dad) would like make jokes about it or pick on me about it (really embarrassing). anther thing is if i were to get one, id prob. want it from a&e or victoria secrets or something but im like really small. for my pants im a 14 slim (thats in abercrombie) && in pac sun im a 00.i dont know if victoria secrets would fit me or what. and then even if they did i find it embarressing just to go shopping for underwear/thongs!

So i got one. You can start by wearing bikini underwear or getting the little shorts? You just look at the thongs and assume what size you are. I'm small too so you can either get a small or med. Sometimes med's are too big though.
Victoria Secrets is somewhere you can look at. Some other places like Pac Sun have them too.. Like anchor blue. Just browse.
If you're going shopping with your dad... then tell him you're going to go shop on your own. If he asks why. tell him you want to buy underwear and i'm sure he would understand.
if you don't want them to find out then you should wash your own clothes/thongs.
But I'm sure they won't mind. It's only underwear. If they joke about it.. then joke with them too. They will stop if they see it doesn't bother you.

ok well during school i see some of my friends fingers and they have very thin, elegant fingers
on the otherhand.... my fingers are a somewhat wider than normal. If it helps, i'm a tall, skinny person and I play volleyball. could this be the reason?

i use cover girl continuous wear cover up but i can never get my face to look very clear like i have litte spots that i want to cover up...like not zits but little like marks and it doesnt really cover them up? is there a diffrent way to apply it so you cant see blemishes and make it stay on longer?
Usually putting powder over it .. covers it up really good.
And if you think you need it, maybe blush/bronzer?

I'm thinking about getting hair extensions
but I have a couple questions first.
how long do they last?
do the hurt?
how much do they cost?
I don't know anything about getting extensions done by a professional.
They are really expensive though. Around $800 and those usually last up for a couple of months.
I never heard about it hurting though. Maybe if you weren't taking care of it and they got tangled.
You could always try doing extensions yourself. A lot cheaper. :]
Go to a Sallys. Buy some human hair extensions/tracks ($30)
and you can either clip them in or glue.
They have all you need there. There's certain clips/glue to buy but I'm sure someone can help you find it.
You can do the side extensions yourself and get a friend to do the back of your head. Then you or someone else can cut layers to make it look more real.
