Question Posted Saturday January 20 2007, 11:44 pm

i straighten my hair, so it tends to be kind of flat a lot. how can i add volume to my hair without using hair products? and if theres no way without hair products, what are some inexpensive products that really work?

thanks!

If you dry your hair whilst hanging your head upside down, that will add volume to it. If you also add some volumising mousse to just the roots that will help too.

After you straighten your hair.. you could try backcombing.

and it may come out all weird but,
if you spray it and pat it down.. you'll have the volume you want.

Instead of using a straightener to straighten your hair, use a blowdryer and a round hair brush.
