Ok, I'm getting contacts really soon. The problem is, I have this little fear of things going in my eye. I have practiced so many times trying to put them in, but I always subconciously close my eye and I can never get them in all the way. What am I supposed to do to get over this? I really want to wear these contacts, but I'm so scared putting them in!

first off, before you try, really think of all the advantages. No big fat glasses in the way -- pretty outlook... etc.

now after this encouragement you gotta try. Practice on a night where your not busy ((like you have 2 hours free to just do anything)) read the directions, and stare at the ceiling. Maybe this isnt bad but practice putting on Mascara, if you can get that close to your eye putting in a contact is closer yea, but still!!!! GL!!!

Ask him in person, then he cant just walk away. Explain how you really feel about him and how you think it could work, and if he goes to walk away say "Please dont avoid me" if he refuses to ever answer maybe he just needs time. Besides, the right guy is worth waiting for. It gets a bit annoying but its worth the wait.

Well this guy i like won't talk to me. He wont return my calls or anything. He liked me 3 days ago and now he wont talk to me. I dont know what i did to make him so upset. He is at his friends houses all weekend, would this effect him not talkin to me cause all his friends are older guys and im younger than him? Definetly go up to him!! Just say, hey what happened. Alright if he wants to be a jerk its not your fault so dont be upset about it. Things will turn out fine!!! Dnt let guys get to you!! And yes, his older friends might be saying crap to mess things up but if hes even worth your time hes gunna have to get ova age difference.

I've got long ( mid back ) straight dark brown hair . It's cut so that all my hair is the same length , and all straight at the bottom .

It's really boring , and i would like to do something special to it . Does anyone have any ideas ? I don't want to dye my whole head , but i wouldn't mind a funky colour or just some highlights . Is it possible to only dye the ends of my hair so i can cut it off just in case my mum freaks . ( i'm going to do it before telling her , because if i ask her first she will refuse flat-out )

Also , i would like to cut my hair so that it is shorter in front , but longer at the back . Kind of like Jojo . What is this called ?

Btw . i'm kinda tanned as i do alot of sports .

gO strawberry blonde, bring in a picture of Ashley Simpson`s hair and get the bangs, layers, and all sorts of funky stuff she has that makes her soo original. I dont think theres a way to only do the ends, i think your mom will get used to it basically--LOL! Well learn the difference between friends and crushes. Maybe you think those guys are cute and their cool friends but, you may not really like them. Become close friends with the people you think your crushing on and just see who you get closest too.

ok me n my bestest friend had a stupid fight about her having a boyfriend and i don't/my mom is stupid and i can't hang out with her alot/she's moving to another state in a lil while... geez! n then we stopped talking for like 2 weeks n i miss her alot... i mean she is my bestest friend in the whole wide world!!! what should i do!?!?!

Invite her over for your own private little party before she goes away!! Tell your mom shes going away soon and your gunna really miss her-- so beg to hang out with her for a little going away thingy. Make her favorite snacks and meal, and then get a little cake. You guys can play board games, do eachothers hair, watch some of her favorite movies, and best of all you can give her a gift. A good idea would be to scrapbook a bunch of memories you guys have together, and get her a best friend necklace so you guys can always remember eachother. Dont forget to stay in contact while shes gone!

No, we all have our favorite foods. But we need to learn how to eliminate the constant need to have them. So, plan 2 meals a month where you have Kabob, and dont let yourself have any more or less, this way you'll appreciate it a little more and not overeat. Good luck! xoxo

It would be really dangerous to do cocaine while you were on the patch. PLus it wouldnt make much sense. Cut the cigerette smoking but still harm your body with drugs? I guess it would be a definite good start, but still. Please, I advise you to try the patch WITHOUT Cocaine... drugs can do so many bad things to you, I know its hard, but see some sorta counseler, its the difference between saving your life! i feel so young all my friends are turning 15 this year and i just turned 14!! were all in the same grade though. i just want to grow up to where in 16 so i can party and drive. my parents are so protective because im there only child and they dont want to lose me with all the murders and kidnappers and shit in the world. it upsets me. they think im still a little kid still and they treat me like im a little kid. does anyone feel this way what should i do??

Well first off, dont rush your life by. When your older you'll be upset you weren't enjoying every moment. Not trying to scare you but really none of us know how long we'll be here on earth so we better live like we were dying! Enjoy every second, cherish every moment. I know you wanna be 16 and party and drive and all that but you need to focus on 14 and just enjoy your life now. When you become 16 it will be reallly reallly exciting b/c its the age you wanna be at. But trust me with driving and partying comes tons of responsibility. As for your parents, tell them you feel you want some more privelages. Prove how mature you are! Talk to them about deeper situations, how you feel on life, friends, issues.... they'll start to see a change. Idk, it totally worked with my parents. Good luck!

i need some opinions and suggestions. for my 16th birthday i want to on a friday go out to dinner with about 15 people not an expensive place just like the keg were we can have a private room and hang out! Then the next night,go out on a party bus with 15 - 18 people. Id pay for the dinner stuff. And they would pay 10 - 15 dollers for the party bus. Is that ok? Any suggestions on anything else? Thanks!

Yeah thats fine. Just keep in mind not everyone may come if they cant or dont feel like paying. I think all the ideas are really nice, but what would be cool is if you came up with a theme. Maybe french cafe, moulin rouge, stuff like that?? Or you can do color themes! Combine your 3 favorite colors and make streamers, balloons, and decorations coordinate with that, have fun!

Well get cups plates decorations in all sorts of red green and white colors. Streamers, same colors. Get a big sheet of paper and color it with green, red and white stripes (italy's flag) and put it on a piece of cardboard, and hang it up on one of the walls. Play leaning tower of pisa where you guys divide into two groups and each group gets a deck of cards, and some tape, and you both have to build Leaning Towers and sees who's stays up longer the whole night! Aww. Well first off dont be reluctant for having a relationship online. Sometimes even when we dont know the personalities of those involved, we can still relate. Just teens kinda figure these things out. Maybe not every answer will be accurate but i hope i hit the target pretty well because I know how these things go and what its like. The question is totally not crappy, your upset, and you cant help it. Now that thats defined, to answer your questions. If you feel like "he likes you less" talk to him. Tell him everything you feel about him and make sure hes still serious. Just say " I really like you. I just wanna make sure your into me " .. its so simple and you could even say it online or something. About the hugging, do you ever try to hug him first? Maybe he'll get into that. Theres obviously nothing to big going on if he'll still touch you physically. Maybe hes just not a hugger. That you can live with, right? If you really cant make a joke out of it. Just laugh and say I need a hug! LOl.. come off all cute about it. And sry, im probably definetly late about the days events, because its the end of the day you posted this question, but i thought I could still help. Well, for the future, just call him in advance.
