my mom used to get drunk. a lot. she only admitted to two of the numerous occassions, and then she started to blame sleeping pills for her "acting weird". she said she'd stop buying wine. she did for maybe 2 months, then started again. the thing is I'M the only one who knows shes drunk! my sister always comes up with excuses (shes defensive) and my mom just denies it. today she bought more wine (she was tipsy before she bought it though) and i asked her to not buy it because she said she wouldnt. she did anyway and so i ignored her, and then she got angry and asked whats wrong and i told her and she started saying crap like "stop acting like your better than me. I am the parent, YOU are the child. you are not better than anyone else. i am the parent. you do not check on me. you are the child." how do i get her to STOP?! (link)

id ont know what to tell you on how to get her to stop cause my situation might have been different then yours is and i dont know your whole story... but my mom used to be an alcoholic and a drug addict so i know how you feel so if you ever need someone to talk to please feel free to email me or something i cant offer you my advice for this yet but i can def. give you someone to talk to who understands.

just do it.. i dont think your going to be able to talk her into if your 14 and she still wont let you but sweety we both know that its time and i think she knows too she just doesnt want you to grow up to fast or admit that you are growing up. so my advice is to just do it cause then she cant stop you and you get what you want, seriously if she punishes you for shaving thats messed up.. i think once you doit she'll have to choice but to understand

ok.. so there's this guy.. and i think i love him.. but we have been through soo much.. and now he hates me for something i didnt do.. he thinks im preventing him from being friends with one of his ex's who happens to be like my best friend.. but thats soo not the case!! its been 4 months since we broke up and ive been trying so hard to get over him.. and i almost did... but i dont know what came over me... i just snapped and fell in love with him again.. and i just cant get him off my mind.. and i really dont know what to do.. cause there is this other guy that i kinda sorta like but i dont know how he feels about me.. but the thing is i can never stop thinking about the guy i love when i talk to the guy i like.. im really trying to get over him but i cant.. and i reallyjust wanna be friends with him again.. i mean of course i wanna be more than that.. but i just dont want him to hate me

dont get with the guy that you like just to help you get over the guy you love or you think it will help you cause that not fair to him. just try talking to the guy you love, if he doesnt answer leave a messege, in some cases thats better cause you can say everything w/o interuptions or write a long letter and leave it in his car windshield wipers or something, he'll have no choice but to notice it and that way he can make the choice of whne he wants to read it and then leave it up to him if he wants to talk to you or when he wants to talk to you, at least you'll know that you tried and if you two arent together then its his fault.

id o agree with the other 2 in the fact that you cant control your dreams and i dont think it means that you are bi now. i just think you like breasts becuase its something that you admire. maybe you wish you had boobs like other gilrs or you like to compare yourself to other girls but that doesnt make you bi, i dont think you have anything to worry about anless you become attracted to girls.

my best friend suffers from von Willebrands disease so she always has a really long, heavy, painful, periods. lately, its gotten really bad. she can barely move, but her mom said theres nothing she can do. is there any thing that might make her feel better? midol and tylonel dont work. (link)

i also have really bad periods like that. do you know those therma heating pads that you can stick on your stomache and back, those help with cramps. and i know as much as it hurts her to move, that will actually help the flow, even if she just goes for a short litlle walk everyday, and swimming is really good for it, and i suggest that she start taking one a day vitamins and see if any of that helps at all. hope i could help tell your friend i wish her the best of luck.

Ok well this is a really strange question since most people ask the opposite, but does anyone know how I could gain like 10 pounds since I am really really skinny and people blame me for being anorexic? (and please just don't say eat more, since I already eat a lot and it doesn't really do anything). I pretty much want to gain weight all over, except for my abbs which i want to keep flat. Any ideas? if they wont let you get a monthly paid phone see if they willlet you get a track phone that way you can talk on it whnever you want and you can take as long as you want to use the minuste you put on the phone and when you run out you can just get a new card and put more minutes on there, and you still get to text messege on most track phones it costs a half of a min. good luck

My b/f and i had sex on March 10 & on March 17. i was supposed to get my period on March 16. i still haven't gotten it. my b/f used condoms both times and there were no rips in them when he 'pulled out.' i have some of the symptoms of being pregnant. if u used a condom and checked it then your probably not pregnant. i think your scaring yourself out of having your period. i used to do that all of the time and i think now would be to early to be having sypmtoms of pregnancy. im pretty sire it paranoia. to be safe side get a pregnancy test when time and next time fill the condom with water after finished and dry off the outside and see if there are any small leaks in it and look into birth control to be on the safe side. hope everything works out for the best for you.

hii! well today for the first time i tried putting a tampon in..i think its tampax pearl or something like that..and im not sure if i should like wear pads still to school or try to keep using tampons..because it took me awhile to get it in..since it was my first time..but then im scared that i wont be able to put it in again in school..but tampons are sooo much nicer! also the only scary thing is my period is SOOO heavy..its unbelieveable and i cant use the super absorbant ones because my mom only bought the regular ones and then since i just started using then i dont wanna start withh the super ones..i wanna try and get use to them! i think it would be easier on me for gym class (because running and blood going all over..is not the greatest feeling (sorry sooo..gross haha) but..rather than using a pad im just scared that it will leak..since its super heavy and im using a regular tampax..and that if i have to change it during school..i willbe late to class and i wont be able to get it in..what do u think i should do?? because i like tampons alot..its like you dont even have your period! ahh im soo confused..any help?? suggestions?? what would u do?..thanks!! i know that tampons feel more comfortable and clean, but tey also fill faster then pads and can cause more leaks. wear tampons at home only unitl you get used to putting them in and taking them out and then whne you feel comfortable with it you can wear them at school. but dont go to wearing tampons all of the time is my suggestion.

just keep not playin into it. if you act like you dont care or like its not affecting you and dont go around asking other ppl about this boy that could possibly have a crush on you then they will get bored cause they arent getting the reaction out of you that they want and they will move n to someone else. dont get mad and tell them to get a life or anything becasue then your ginving them waht they want and they will keep it up. good luck with your problem i hope this stops.

14/f...ok so i kno this guy named Peter and two of his friends, Tyler and Trevor. So I like Peter a lot but he's really really shy and hard to get to know but I still am able to talk to him. One day i was talking to him and everything seemed like it was going well but after he was gone one of my friends said that Tyler said behind my back that Peter has absolutely NO INTEREST IN ME. But the next day I was talking to him and it seemed like he was SORTA FLIRTING with me. But after that I asked Trevor if wat Tyler said was true and he said probably yes. thre are 2 possible reasons why these guys are saying that perter isnt interested in you.
1. they are right and peter is just a flirty guy who doesnt knwo how to let you down gently or doesnt want to be unliked by anyone.(sry if thats it)
or 2. one of these or both of these guys are interested in you so they are trying to get you to just give up on peter.
so the best thing that you can do is ask a more reliable source or ask peter. if hes scared to hurt your feelings and is telling you what you want o hear or being dismissive you should be able to tell. but thats the only sure fire way to get the answers you want.

yeah it will still look cute if you wear a zip up jactet and just zip it up to wear your stomache doesnt show but if you wear a hoodie with it your just going to cover up your new top and noone will be able to see it. but just in case u want to go back keep the tags if the righ tsize comes in soon

theres this stuff by St. ives in a green bottle, im pretty sure you could get it at any walgreen, walmart or target, well rub that on your eyes before you go to sleep and then buy one of those gel eye masks and kepp it in the fridge and wear it at night wile your sleeping.

I've been going on and off with my boyfriend for over a year.. his birthday is coming up and he'll be turning 18. I don't want it to just be like all of his other birthdays, because he's turning 18, I would want it to be good! you know..? I've gotten him nice jeans and band shirts before .. soo haha.

see if there is anyway you can go somewhere and buy him guitar picks or maybe a guitar strap, but see if you can design what to put on them, its something that he loves to do and youll get to put a lil something of your own into to make it meaningful.

i dont know what kind of acne you have, like some ppl have really bad acne all over their face and some ppl just get a few big pimples every once in a while. if your like me and you just get a few big ones every once in a while sometimes i put mint toothpaste on them for a few hours and then wash it off when i take a hot shower and it opens up the poors. i'm not sayng rub tooth past all over your face but in a few key areas and just dab it on the infected area. it wont just disappear but it will clear up faster and make you feel a lot cleaner.

Heres the thing. My friends dont like my bf at all. Its to the point where i cant have them hanging out together. All my friends do in school is talk about us in a bad way. about how we spend a lot of time together and how they dont like him. it feels like they arent happy for me and they want me all to themselves. its a frustrating situation. i can only see him on weekends and he doesnt go to my school. so heres the problem: i have been neglecting my friends. butt i dont want to give up any time on the weekends because i can only see him then! and maybe a day or 2 during the week IF im lucky. : / (link)

i'm just went through the same thing. you have toplan time to hang out with your friends separatly then your bf. have girls night every other weekend and hang out with your bf more on the weeknihgts if you know your going to want to hang out with your frineds on the weekend. i know you want to spend all of the time possible with your bf but you really need to let your friends know theat your always going to be there and they come first because your bf might not always be aroung but they will, and i know you want to keep them both in your life as long as possible, dont plan things where they will have to be together unless its like your birthday or something. it may be hard at first but youll get used to it and it will get easier. hope i can help.

your young and obviously have many options. and it seems to me that you really dont know what you want yet. so stay single until you do, have fun. why be tied down if your not sure thats what you want? take time to hang out with these guys outside of scool and then make your decision of who you like and dont like and see what they want, cause it might be something totally different then what you want, and guys can be 100% different when you get them outside of school. so take your time and dont make a decision too quick and if your not 100% sure then wait until you are.
