Emo dont even stand for emotional it stands for EMOtive MUSIC. its a form of music, and SOME of them happen to cut them selves, be depressed, and wear there hair over there one eye. thisismydance answered Tuesday March 21 2006, 9:35 pm: emo is short for emotional. emo-tional. mostly they claim to be "unique", "different" and "abnormal". mostly faking to have horrible home lives and are very dramatic. they like to think they have it so bad and normally dress differently. google search "emo farm video" and it will come up.. (most likely) watch the vid... that explains it in a funny way :) [ thisismydance's advice column | Ask thisismydance A Question ]

S_C answered Tuesday March 21 2006, 8:26 pm: Well emo is an abbreviation for emotional. But some people use the term in somewhat rude ways. Honestly, just because you're emo does not mean you cut your wrists, and does not mean you're punk or gothic. It just means that you're an emotional person and that you listen to music and enjoy hobbies have the something to do with highly emotional feelings.
