Hello people! I'm not anything special, no *real* training, I've grown up in a pastor kid enviroment, so I've been the one people turn to a lot. I WON"T tell you you're question was stupid, and I won't give you a bogus answer. I love helping people, and my future profession is going to be in the psychiatric field, but I'm also into professional singing(I've been singing publicly since the age of two) so I know all sorts of tricks for that stuff too. I'll give anything a stab, except I suck at sports(sorry, can't help you make a field goal) and I'm not into the whole "in style" thing. I've got my own little fashion thing going on. I know a whole bunch of useless knowledge, and though I have my own issues, I can usually come up with a good solution if I'm not in the situation.

How in the world are you supposed to tell a guy is being mean, or mean flirty nice.. you know?
This guy has been well mean/flirty? to me, since the sixth grade, and I find it cute.
But I dont know if he really is just being mean, or if he likes me.

If a guy has been doing this to you for four years, and he seems to like you a bit, it means he really does like you- at LEAST as a friend. Cuz otherwise he'd get bored.

ok so i have this friend, she's not that great of a friend but thats not the point. anyway, i have this boyfriend. they dont like eachother, whatever. So she gave one of her hot co-workers my myspace and he's telling me im hot and stuff and that me him my friend and her boyfriend should go on a double date. one day my boyfriend logged into my account because i had told him about this guy and he asked if he could read some of the messages the guy sent me. he said if the guy kept bugging me after i told him i had a bf he would get mad and at least message the guy telling him something. the guy sent me another message right now giving me his number. i dont want to hook up with this other guy but i wouldnt mind talking to him, i have a lot of guy friends. i think my boyfriend would be mad if i called him. what should i do? If your bf really likes you, he should trust you.
Tell him that you want to test how strong your relationship is, because in the long run, you're going to have friends who are guys. Talk to him BEFORE you call this guy. Also, talk to your friend, because if she keeps doing things like this, you probably won't be able to continue a friendship with her.

i've been getting insane bruises lately!! i have two bruises on both knees from ice skating and falling. I have a bruise on my right arm for slamming it on the door, and now i have a slight bruise on the side of my face by the cheek when i feel and hit the face on my floor today ... any advice on what to do?? thanks in advance. OUCH! I feel your pain, I'm forever falling and getting hurt. I'd say the best thing to do is use a thicker makeup, something like a concealer stick for your arms, or 3/4 length sleeves are good too, because they aren't as hot with bracelets.makeup your legs if you're gonna wear a skirt, or tights work well too. For your face use a LIGHT makeup, if you use a heavy concealer you'll break out.

It's my 17th birthday coming up on 20th Jan, and i'm not sure what to do to "celebrate" it. Last year I had a limo party but that was because it was my "sweet sixteen", and i've had house parties, cinema parties and bowling parties before in the past, so i've kinda run out of ideas.
My friends say I should just go cinema again but there's nothing really on that I want to see.
And my boyfriend says that he'll take me out somewhere but he wants me to choose where and again I have no idea.

okay, how about a murder masquerade?
Pick two people ahead of time, one to die(pretending of course) and one to be the killer.
Tell everyone to come in costume(pick a period) and with a mask. it works better with lots of people, but they come in, start dancing and someone dies on the floor. they then have to find out who did it. DON"T TELL ANYONE thats its going to be a murder mystery except the killer and the murdered. Its way more fun as a suprise. ;)

I have a friend, who I'll call Dan. Dan asked me out on a date over the summer and I said yes. I took it a little too far (I thought he was my boyfriend) and he said a few weeks later "Just because I asked you out doesn't mean we're going out). We didn't talk for a while but a few months ago we became friends again. We talk all the time. However, my sister hates him and doesn't want me to see him. He and I never get to meet up because he lives kind of far away and because when there's a midpoint, my sister has to be with me and they can't stand each other. He's 17 and afraid to drive on highways, so he can't drive to me, and I can't drive yet because I'm only 15. My sister said that if I ever hook up with him, she'll be extremely upset with me. So should I see him? I really want to. We're just friends. And if there's a chance and I want to do it and he initiates it, should I hook up with him? (link)

Don't let him walk all over you! If you REALLY like him, tell him that he has to committ before he gets anything else. and stick to it. NO kisses, hugs, hand holding. Hello's are okay, but no flirting until he commits to you. Stacy could just be a girl in his 1st block who who decided she'd graffiti his notebook. who knows? Does this help?? Personally, I think rings from antique stores are the best, because they're origional. Nobody's going to have a ring that you get there.
And as for proposing, I think Valentines is a great day to do it, but if she's noconformist, no, because so many people propose on Valentines, no offense. same with Christmas Eve.

I remember being twelve and going on my first diet. What I did was I counted calories. But I never ate anything I REALLY wanted, because I was trying to be full, you know what I mean. So divide your food like this:
Veggies: you can eat as much as you want, they won't hurt
Meat: protein is needed, but chicken and stuff is lower fat than beef. Hamburgers are not the best idea.
Starches: Pasta and things like that need to be limited: 1 cup is a serving. Potatoes are really good because they fill you up faster, and they're pretty good for you.
Condiments: stuff like salad dressing, jelly, peanut butter ect. are usually packed full of calories. try only to use 2 tablespoons at the most.
Sweet Stuff: Don't completely rule it out, because it'll just make you want to cheat later. Add a hershey's kiss to your lunch. Eat nacho's and cheese(this is actually a really good snack, Tostidos and salsa too.) if you want, but limit yourself.

I have been taking Levlen ED pill for almost 4 months after i finish this month... I have only missed one pill this month compared to other months. I have always got my period on time since starting the pill. I am sexually active with my boyfriend. I am confussed as to i thought that my ovaries should still be closed being that i am not yet o the sugar pill... I am just worried about whats going on inside of me and why this has happened. Is there any possiility i could be pregnant?

Getting your period early wouldn't mean you're pregnant. Its proly stress, what with semester changes and everything. midterms. Don't worry. My last exams I was late a week and a half, and then I got right back to being regular. You're probably fine!

Okay. No offense to cutie whatever, but thats not really true.
I used to be a cutter.
So did a bunch of my friends.
We never really talked about it, but we all knew the others did.
I had a loving, caring family, great friends, and a good life.
however(and this is NO LIE) I was groped at Six flags by a stranger, adn I felt completely horrible about it.
The next week I was kicked out of school for scratching open my stomach with a pocket knife.
I didn't feel any less loved, I just wanted to show my pain in a physical way.
you're friend Jack could be cutting himself for lots of reasons.
But yes, I agree you're probably right. he probably is. the thing is, if he's telling you not to worry, its because he needs it. Most cutter who do it consistantly develop a way to make the cutting entirely cosmetic, and unless they're TRYING to kill themselves, nothing can really happen that will cause real damage.
Be there for him, and make sure he knows you're listening when he decides to tell someone. Because nobody can cut peacefully forever. it doesn't work.
WARNING SIGNS OF CUTTING:
small cuts, especially ones in sets of three, or legs, arms, and stomach.
saying things like "oh it happened in gym" all the time
constant wearing of long sleeves or wristbands, or even lots of large bracelets.

OK. I'll cut straight to the chase. I used to have a MySpace about 2 years ago. My parents were totally fine with it, until there were a bunch of rapings in our state. At first, they only made me delete the pictures off there so that nobody knew what I looked like. Then, they made me get off the site all together. (My friends deleted theirs as well.) However, my brother (2 years older than me) has been allowed to stay on the site.
After two years, I've visited the site through my friend's account and have noticed that many of my friends have made new ones. This has left me to the decision on whether or not I should make one.
Keep in mind that my parents haven't really talked about it, and my brother still has one (no pictures of him). Since I'm in High School now, don't you think I should be allowed on this site?
I've asked my mom during the summer and she said "definitely not."
What would you do? What are your thoughts on this?

Okay, I see you're parents' concern, but really, Myspace isn't that bad. If you set your account so you can't be accessed by strangers, and only approve friends you know, it's perfectly safe.
I am extremely cautious online, because I acquired a stalker from Xanga a few years ago.
However, Myspace is safe, as long as you aren't handing out you're address to every creep you meet.

guys can be jerks. If he likes another girl, that doesn't mean he doesn't like you, but if he only wants you when he's high, he probably just thinks you're a good kisser.
If you really like the guy, wait awhile, see what happens, who knows.
Chances are, he's horny, and if he wants sex from you, he probably either wants or gets it from this Stacy.
People are stupid sometimes, but you're still going to have to live with your decisions, no matter what. Do what feels right to you.

My boyfriend of almost two years dumped me a week ago. We haven’t spoken since. I was sort of expecting it so all he said was “I can’t do this anymore. I’ve had one foot out the door for months.” I didn’t want to cry in front of him or get angry, so I just told him he could leave, and he pretty much ran out.
Now, I know I want him back. I know I miss him. I feel like most of our problems existed entirely in his head, but I do accept that it is over and there is no way we are getting back together. I’m a little confused though. I wish I’d listened to more of his explanation so I knew just what he was thinking (and that he doesn’t hate me, have no respect for me or think I’m a total idiot... all those nice things you are supposed to reassure someone of when you dump them.)
Should I e-mail him and ask for his reasons? Just to put my mind at ease. I’m not sure he could actually say anything that would make it easier... Or should I just let it go and keep on not speaking to him at all? (link)

Of course you feel like you want him back. He was a big part of your life. But asking for reasons probably not a good idea. I asked my last boyfriend why, and he said it was because of my Dad. Reasons just make you madder.
The best advice I can give you is to cry a little, throw things(superballs are good, or shoes), crank up the music and spend a little time mourning. You'll never forget him, not completely, but you don't have to be sad forever. work your way towards it.
If you think things are still okay enough that you can still stand to be in the same room, sure, be around him. I'm still friends with most my exes, and its pretty cool, cuz you still have a bond, but there's no tension, you can scream at them and they can't break up with you.

I had the same problem. Still do some of the time. But not "fitting in" doesn't mean you have to fade out either. I stand out a lot, just because I wear unusual clothes. But guys aren't really a problem. If you pick one, and start small, like making friends, but not too pushy, just be there when he needs someone, and work your way up. You might make some progress.
