My husband and I are FINALLY expecting our first baby and we are so excited! I'm about three and a half months pregnant now and we think it's time to tell our parents about the great news. We thought it might be super cute to take a home pregnancy test and then mail it to them! :D Do you think this is a good idea? If so, how exactly do I do that? Get your first ultrasound and place it in a card with a note saying, "You may not see the family resemblance yet, but you will in about nine months," and gave it to your parents.
OR
Decide you want a family picture while everyone is there.
Once everyone is together, have your husband be the one taking the picture and have him say "by the way (your name) is pregnant" and capture everyones reaction.
OR
After dinner, ask if anybody's still hungry - because you've got a bun in the oven!

My advice...don't spit.
The taste is odd. Different with every guy.
But It's a lot less messy and sexier to the guy.

Weight gain is not listed as a side effect of nasal steroids but it is a very common complaint in users.
It has been listed that Nasal sprays do cause your body to increase water retention which will cause you to gain weight.

i didnt eat very many calories maybe 1000 during the day. but then my sister and me got coldstone and papa johns a small pizza i had 2 small slices of papa johns original cheese pizza and prolly a cup of cake batter coldstone ice cream. how many calories is this? and is this okay since i didnt eat many calories during the day? i ate this about 9 o'clock at night prolly 3 hours before bed (link)

There are 390 calories in the smallest cup of sweet cream ice cream from Coldstone. You would have to add a few calories because of the cake batter. In two slices of Papa Johns pizza there are 608 calories!

You should not eat 2-3 hours before bed so you're absolutely fine!

The amount of calories does not matter as much as what you're eating. Pizza and ice cream aren't necessarily the greatest foods!

Everyone's body requires a different amount of calorie intake. But if you only eat 1000 during the day and then eat fattening foods after that your body will store it as fat rather than burn it because you haven't supplied your body with enough calories or healthy nutrients.
The best thing to do is to consume more calories but from less fatty foods. Don't be scared to eat more often but less amounts!

food and fat. directly correlated obviously. Eat an apple in the morning. It will fill you up for longer and cause you to eat less during the day. Fruits and vegetables have less fat but yet the fat they do have consumes a larger part of your stomach and causes you to feel fuller for longer. Just watch what you put into your body!

I've been in cronic pain for the past 22 years due to a spinal cord injury. Cord crushed and all nerves cut. I have hepp.C ,anemia and heart problems. I'm tired of living this way. Dr. gives me 60 morphine 100mg, 120 valiums 10mg 120 oxycodone 5 mg a month.I'm over 50 and tired of Life.....Do I start out with 20/30 Morphines? I'm from Chicago (link)

Medical marijuana. youre in pain and you are suffering mentally because of the pain you go through.
marijuana subsides chronic pain, boosts your mood, and prevents you from having to take as many meds.
im not saying you wont still have to take some of them but it really can help in certain situations.

Ok so for the last couple days when I urinate, it burns really bad, then at the end of the urine stream, a blood-colored substance comes out a little bit. And the urine is really cloudy and it smells horribly. And it feels like I always have to pee even right after I just did. I looked up the symptoms on WebMD...and I think I have a urinary tract infection...so I’m gonna go to the doctor and it says they give antibiotics to treat it...
My question is about the diagnosis of a UTI. On most sites I looked up it says they diagnose it with a urine sample.....so here’s my question:
When they run the tests on your urine for the UTI, do they cover any other standard tests?? Like do they test for other problems...or for drugs?
Also, has anyone that’s ever had a UTI, did they have to do a pelvic exam?
I’m female if that makes any difference.

i have reoccuring uti's.
no they are not fun and yes you definitely have one.
they treat uti's with the same meds everytime. its always either bactrim or sulfameth. both are simply to kill bacteria. they will also recommend drinking lots of water to flush your system of bacteria, cranberry juice, wear cotton panties to allow yourself to breath, Don't hold your pee, take vitamin c, and wipe front to back to prevent spread of bacteria.
and no they do not require a pelvic exam. from experience i know that they do not test for drugs whatsoever.

Both of my cherries have been "popped" i have not actually had any sexual relations with anyone. And recently there has been more blood. And knowing that both of my cherries have been "popped" I find there to be something wrong. Does anyone know what it is? (link)

you do not have to be sexually active to tear your hymen and have bleeding. it can be a gradual tear from athletics such as gymnastics or cheerleading or really any sport.(tampons as well) the hymen is also said to have dissolved before you're 20. this may not be true for all but maybe you.
there should not be a lot of bleeding. especially if it were a gradual tear.
this is probably something you should get examined for.

oh my. websites are quite hard to learn off of.
if you can read music you're better off teaching yourself.
if you have an ear for it you can go to websites and get notes and listen while you play.

you go at the pace of kissing.

you need to be in shape. it makes sex better because you are able to use the muscles you have built to move with precision. there's a lot of skill to good sex. there are multiple positions and honestly there's no flexibility needed. guys think its sexy because the more flexible you are the more you can spread your legs away from your vagina. its really stupid and any guy that makes a comment like that can not be trusted. but youre right about stamina. some guys last 5 minutes and some last two hours. you have to be prepared for everything

i'd like to hear from people who have experience in going away to college while you were in a relationship? what happened? did it work out? my first love and i dated for a year and a half, we were inseperable, then had a BAD break up, were broken up for a year, and just got back together a little over 2 months ago, and everything's perfect again. in the fall, im moving to alabama for college [we're from georgia], and i dont know what to do. he said he is NOT going to lose me again, but i dont know how i feel about trying to maintain a long distance relationship in school. we talked about him moving there with me, but i highly doubt that will happen because he'll be in school here, and i'll more than likely have to live in a dorm my first year. i honestly think breaking up would be best, but i dont want to break up with him. that would hurt us both so much because we love being together. i just dont know what to do, and college is quickly approaching. any experience on this? it was the summer after my junior year and my boyfriend and i began dating. he was a year ahead of me. so we dated that year and then he left for college and i was still in high school. it was tough. very very tough but i knew it was worth it. i knew he was the one for me and we worked through it. it definitely got easier once i began college with him. we are now engaged and live a happy life together. that year without him was hell and we fought a lot but it was completely worth it because i loved him more than anything.

Basically, I'm having a serious problem with my brother. Let me give you some background; he’s in high school and I'm in grad school. Our mother ran off when I was a pup and ever since then my father raised us both. Anyway, he doesn’t like me at all and thinks I’m a monster because he thinks I did something to her when he was younger.
Because of that, we haven’t spoken at all for last couple of years. I unconditionally love him and I’m at a loss because I don’t know what I did to him.
I spent countless hours with a ridiculously expensive therapist in NYC next to NYU where I’m attending grad school. We discussed the situation in every possible way and racked my memories for any frigging situation that may even remotely explain the mess. After a couple of thousand dollars, I gave up because I couldn’t recall anything or at least figure out why.
Right now, since my brother’s almost your age so… I’m hoping you can answer my question: What do you recommend I do?

sorry it took so long to reply.
my brother and i went through the same thing. hes in grad school and im graduating this year.
We had some family issues and our relationship was broken down to nothing after being so close.
he reccommended we get therapy together which i refused mainly bc it was his therapist and i know she would be biased.
we were on non speaking terms for two years before he wrote me a very meaningful letter and apologized. and our relationship is now building itself back. we are still shaky but better now.
i suggest that you do the same. write him a letter that tells him how you feel. tell him that you miss your mom just as much as he does but that its neither of your faults and you can work together to overcome the neglect. it might take awhile but once he matures a little he will realize how much he actually wants that relationship with you.

there is no right way to kiss.
its different for everyone depending on the way your partner kisses.
it will feel akward if you dont actually feel something for the guy you're kissing.
you just wait for the right moment when hes looking at you and leaning close and you'll find yourself leaning close as well and then you will touch lips. maybe a light kiss and then it will escalade from there.
you'll find that some guys are absolutely horrible at kissing and when you kiss them it just doesnt feel right and its akward. but then others it can be absolutely amazing.
the way a guy kisses you and the way you feel when you kiss them can tell a lot about your relationship and how you feel about them.

personally...i think it lasts longer as long as there is trust within the relationship.
my ex boyfriend and i were together for 2 1/2 years and he lived 45 minutes away and went to a diff. high school. it made the times i saw him even better and it caused less drama between me and my friends at school.

the first girl answered how its done but none of them have actually gotten theirs pierced.
i went in totally freaked out bc i hate needles. im also good with pain but i still got freaked.
just to be 100% real with you its the nervousness that hurts.
the actual piercing does not hurt bc its so fast.
afterwards is what hurts. its sore and you have to clean it. it burns for awhile but its completely worth it.
advice: go with friends...it eases your mind

most controlling boyfriends tend to be abusive as well and if not abusive pushy or agressive.
*this includes him avoiding you as the parent
*your daughter might lash out at you bc of him
*she becomes distant
*not letting your daughter hang out with friends
*keeping her away from family as much as possible
*you will notice her saying "robert wants to go to the movies can i go"...instead of "i want to go to the movies can i go."
*they fight all the time over simplistic things
*he always makes her cry and her self esteem lowers
*she seems to feel overpowered
*he makes her think that he is always right no matter what
*she is pressured into sex or sexual actions

my bf went to job corp. before that he was in treatment for his problems with alcohol. he said he is doing this for us. he dropped out of school the year we started dating. his 10 grade year and my 8th grade year. im still in school and want to go to college. when i told him that, i thought he would stay in school but he quit. now im a junior and going to graduate early. he said after 2 years of job corp he can go to college, adn i would love that. im considering going to Norway for college though. i have family there adn it would be a great experience. but how do i leave the guy i've loved for 4 years here. we have our hard times, but through it all we still are great together. my friends don't like him for his past drug use, but they understand my feelings and deal, what i'm saying is he is the one i love, but if he loves me should i make him wait. help, do i go to college and come back for him. go to college. if he loves you he will either wait or be willing to move to where you are.
everyone has their hard times but everything gets worked out in time.
you dont have to leave him just bc of college and remember that college isnt for everyone. some people arent cut out for college and wouldnt benefit from it. but dont let his plans stop you from doing what you want to do.

as long as the love is there and its real yes anything can happen. you two could stay together for 2 weeks or 2 years but its possible to have a relationship. accepting someones faults is part of any relationship and its amazing that you have been able to to do that. for many people thats where the relationship ends.
seeing him just makes the realtionship more enjoyable and most of the time stronger but you can go without seeing him that much. its not a question of can you its a question of are you willing to...
dont let anyone tell you that you cant though :)
