Alright. I am a 16 year old girl as is my best friend but he is a boy. We are juniors and we have been friends since we were 7ish/8ish. He's the best. Girls at my school only start drama with everyone and they don't keep secrets. I feel with this boy, that all of my secrets are safe and he can solve all of my problems and he starts no drama at all because he is very shy which is suuuuch a plus! We text all the time, during that time we talk about random things from what we're doing to like what we want to be in life. Usually he is the first one to end the conversation, when I end it, I don't think he likes that because when I say I have to go or I'm being called down for dinner he just says "oh.. ok. cya then." I like to party, not gonna lie. I usually have my certain party friends and my other just chillin watching a movie friends. My partying friends and I, we like to drink. Now, every time I text him, he is usually at a party or with some friends so I let him go have his fun. When I'm at a party and we are texting, I tell him what he's doing and he asks whose party it is or where I'm at. He suffers with low self esteem because of his older brother. People put my friend through a lot because supposedly his brother is "perfect" and my friend doesn't come close and people actually tell them that. So, I always tell him things like I'm your friend, not his. He's ugly. I think you're way better. Just to boost his self esteem. He's always there for me. I went through a time where my "friend" called me all of this terrible stuff and it made me cry my eyes out and he said that I am nothing like that. She's wrong and she's just jealous of me. Immediately after saying that, I smiled. He just.. makes everything better. He wears a bracelet that was once mine and he stole it from me. He can't sing for me when he can sing for everyone else and there mom's, haha. I give him snacks after practice for school everyday. As close as I just described we are, we've never hung out outside of school, your probably thinking 'wow, two best friends that never hung out before' I know right, but he has his gang outside of school and I have mine. We were supposed to hang out and he bailed because he has something to do with his family and he said he will definately see me the day he comes back unless for some God forsaken reason he can't. It just makes me mad that he would bail for the stupid reason he gave me.

I'm 90% sure he likes you if he stole a bracelet from you that has to mean something to him he probablly likes you alot considering he has to know every detail and seems upset when you end a conversation. I have a friend with bad self esteem too, it's really hard for them you're a good friend. He's probablly just too shy to sing to you because you're special. Even though he cancels he probablly gets nervous or scared. Boys are really weird have a boy that I like and he knows I like him and he used to like me and he knew that I liked him and he never asked me out so mine's pretty shy too! I know how you feel ha ha! Shy guys are the hardest it means you're very special to him. Trust me I know my boy he calls all other girls hot and says I'm not hot to him but in his contacts in his email he has me listed as HOT, kiba lol and nobody else. He's asked out plenty of other girls before even though he knows I like him he won't ask me out. He's afraid to hang out with me but once he does it's fine. We're very close and other people who he's close to they've all concluded he's really shy about certain things even though my best friend thinks not (who's also been best friends with him longer than i have) I'm guessing I'm very special to him so believe me when I say I KNOW what you mean! :3

I've been friends with this guy for 3 years and now that I have a boyfriend he's jealous. The thing is before i had a boyfriend we really liked eachother. People mistaken us for a couple because we hang out a lot. I had the guts to ask him out but then he rejected me. Now we can't be friends because he doesn't want to be friends anymore. He's hurt me emotionally and he can tell but he doesn't stop. Now he's telling me and his friends that I'm the one hurting him emotionally and that i was selfish. The guy I'm with is amazing. He respects me and he's very sweet. He doesn't call me names. The other one, my friend, always calls me names and say mean things to me. Now that we aren't friends anymore, i feel more like i'm not myself. Like I'm missing something huge. He's so mean and i told myself that i deserve better than to be called mean names so why do I feel so empty without my friend? (link)

Tell him how you feel tell him exactly what you said. Tell him you both liked each other before and why did he reject you if he liked you, tell him that you're with someone who doesn't call you names or make you feel bad and that he had his chance so why didn't he take it? Ask him why he's really being this way. He's probablly just so upset about this and taking it out on you and maybe you feel this way because you need him. :3 It always hurts to lose a friend.

okay so i started a new job about a month ago..and i started talking to this guy who works there who i thought was kinda cute like the 3rd day this lady who works there said he thought i was cute and i said i thought he was too and the next day he said what did she say to you about me and i said well she said you thought i was pretty cute and then later that day he asked for my number...then like 2 weeks later last week he asked me if i ever wanted to go out sometime and i said sure and he said alright ill let you know the details later and now its been almost a week and a half since he asked that and he still hasnt asked me out....but at work we always work together and he helps me with stuff and talks to me and does that both look at each other look away thing if they like you and he smiles and laughs at everything i do so im guessing he likes me lol but i just dont understand whats taking him so long. Im really into astrology and well im a saggittarius and hes a cancer and i read that their shy guys,you usually have to make the first move and that their hard to read...soo im just really confused what is he waiting for?

Hi, I am a 17yr old f. So, the other day I was walking my pug down main street of our town and this cute guy walks up. He is wearing no shirt, his abs are gorgeous, he has shorts on, and he is tanned. Lets just say he is an eye opener. He walks up (I notice I have seen him maybe once or twice before), and he says "Hey Dez, congratulations on your graduation." I thank him, then he asks if he can hug me and I say yes. After we hug, he casually asks if I am spoken for (I am kinda shocked he would come right out and ask that, but its kind of bold of him, which I like). I told him no and say I really don't know him that well.. he says "I would like to get to know you." We talk for a bit, he seems like an awesome guy, then he asks if he can have my number. I give him mine and he gives me his. Later on that night, I text his number and say "Just wondering, do you usually get a girls number and wait for her to text you first?" playfully. He has not sent me a message yet (how long does a guy usually wait?) and I am wondering what he might be thinking, what his reason for that is, or whatever you think might be why he has not replied. Should I text him once more and see if he replies? Thanks!

He sounds totally hot, kind of like a Twilight werewolf lol. XD Anyway, first off, you shouldn't text him again, it might scare him, he might think you're too pushy or desperate. Most girls think if a guy calls her it means he likes her, that's not the case it just means he wants to know you better or hang out more like he thinks you're cool or cute or whatever. You should wait until he works up the courage to text you back, he might be debating whether or not to or he might not have the time to have gotten around to it. It may have made him nervous but it wasn't a bad think just be paitent he sounds pretty cool :3

someone posted a question on here about thinking they had a panic attack and asked for the symptoms. i read one of the user's replies and most of those symptoms were what happened to me earlier today. i was having chest pains, hot flashes, my pinky started going numb, my heartrate was wild, etc. only thing i'm confused about was i wasn't worrying about anything at the time. i was just sitting on a curb smoking. then it hit me out of nowhere. i don't have a history with panic attacks or a panic disorder. i do get anxiety a lot, but it hasn't been happening very much lately. does anyone know why this happened, or was this something else? You could be developing chest cancer I'm not completely positive but you should look into it but that is my best guess, I mean it's not likely but I'm only 14, you should #1 QUIT!!! SMOKING CAUSES CANCER AND LUNG DISEASE, GROSS HOBO YELLOW TEETH!!! SMOKEY BREATH, IT HURTS PEOPLE AROUND YOU, AND IT'S NOT ATTRACTIVE!!!! D:< sorry both my parents smoke and I'm sensitive about it...still I call them Cancer Sticks!!! :p My advice, quit, soon, asap!!!

yeah, i told her how much she meant to me and i felt like i was losing her, it was my fault and that hurt me because i realized it when i was about to lose her, i was being self-centered and inconsiderate to her, i hurt her feelings lot of times and she forgives me and put up with me, but i failed to see that, and when she tries to talk to me nicely, i tend to blame her and when i realized i did all that, i feel like i disappointed myself, it felt like i did not respect her at all, and i just cant believe that i did this to her, and i guess we're okay now but i still have this guilt that i should not have done that but the good thing is that i learned a important lesson from her that i should not take anybody for granted, im glad i apologized because if i didnt i would have lost her and things between us wouldnt be same again. Now im afraid to say or do something stupid because i might lose her or make the same mistake again

Huh yeah, you should tell her that you feel guilty and try to think about the consequences that may come if you say the wrong thing -hence- think before you speak. :3 Tell her you feel really bad and tell her what you just told me!!! :3 she will really feel appreciated and loved!!!

I am home for the summer from college and theres this new guy my friends have been hanging with and i have begun to develop a small crush on him but we never have hung out alone. I dont want to ruin the friendship by bringing in romance in case he doesnt like me! but anyways me and him exchanged numbers the other night but it was completely friendly. A phone call or a text doesn't always mean a guy likes you it means he wants to get to know you better or thinks you're cute you shiuld hang out with him more and see how it goes. You might be alone sometimes as in everyone else had to leave or just ask him to come over to hang out a nd be better friends

Hm most likely periods only last about 2-3 days about a week or 5 days at the very most, you shouldn't worry, 9 days is not likely to last that long.

Ask her what's wrong, what's up, and try to make plans to hang out with her, if she bails try to talk to her one day and ask her why she won't talk to you. You may have done something to upset her and she's trying to signal to you that she's mad and she might be ranting about you to her other friend, sure it's bitchy and mean but that's how girls are o-o

I'm 22/F and for the most part, have my life in order and know what I'm doing and where I'm going (college, work, future). Recently, I got involved with a guy my age, and to be utterly honest, he's not like me. He's got some big flaws, is a little lost in life, unambitious, isn't financially stable, but he admits these weaknesses. I don't fall easily and I'm smart when it comes to guys, but he's a sweet, caring guy who makes me laugh until I cry and I'm having the best time of my life with him. The problem lies in what everyone else is thinking & saying, that I'm "slumming it this summer". My family and friends think I'm too good for him and that basically he's trash. I just thought I'd have a good time with a good guy and see where it goes, but now they've gotten into my head and I don't know what to think or feel. Will this guy bring me down eventually? Is it a losing battle? Am I too good for him? This never entered my mind before, but being surrounded by all this doubt/concern from the people closest to me is tearing at me. What's my next move? How do I navigate this situation? (link)

Yes you are too good for him but he sounds amazing, if you are smart, tell him you will not let him bring down your life and your future and if you can't go anywhere with him then that's too bad, you can always be close friends. If you ARE "slumming it this summer" try to make some changes. Make the right choices and keep going where you're going make sure to keep up with everything and don't spend too much time with him so that he won't bring you down, if you start to notice that he is tell him that you guys since you really like him, you guys should be like best friends and hang out that way you can still have a good time with him and keep your life in tact. It is not a loosing battle, no way, there's always a way around it. You may be too good for him but tell your family and friends how he really is, tell them how sweet and funny he is, that's the #1 things i look for in a guy. You should focus on what's ahead of you and when you have the free time, spend it with him :3

I live in NY and if anyone can help me I'd be really grateful. Unfortunately, I was randomly harassed by some disgusting man on the street. I called the cops, and literally almost killed this man if I would have had a weapon. According to the cops, he's "legally blind" (although he did quite well in pin pointing me out and grabbing my butt) and "slightly disturbed". I'm extremely infuriated at the fact that this guy was let go as if nothing ever happened. Is that even possible? God knows how many little kids have been touched by this creep. If anyone can help me out here on what I can do, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!! (link)

If he only touched your butt than it's not a big deal, if he was released I'm sure the cops would have thought this through thouroughly enough to release him. It's not anything to worry about if it does get serious the cops will take action.

Nobody believes in love at first sight until it happens to them, not everyone experiences love at first sight, I've experienced it and I felt something like that only it's more......mai heart stopped beating for a total 5 seconds and when it regained it's tempo it exploded in my chest with each thud making my lungs ache from heaving breathing. Butterflies literally exploded in my stomach making me jumpy and nervous and laugh at almost everything he says with an annoying jittery laugh that I tried to hide. Yeah, um Good Luck! so.. i put my first tampon in for the first time last night and i didn't really know how but i figured it out. i slept in it.. which was about eight to nine hours.. i woke up and went to the bathroom and i tried to take it out.. it didn't and so i went to the bathroom and it still didn't.. what do i do? is it because i stopped my period maybe? all i know is that it REALLY hurts when i try to take it out :( (link)

You have to take it out right away no matter how much it hurts get it out, it's very dangerous to have it in more than 8 hours, and no it doesn't stop your period it just soaks up the blood so that you don't have blood stains on your underwear. To put in a tampon you should definitely read the instructions, the box always comes with them and if it REALLY hurts that means you've had it in for too long or you REALLY messed up when you put it in be extra careful next time you use one!!!

Sure you can, but make sure it doesn't interfere with your work ethics and make sure it doesn't spread around depending on your boss' personality you may get fired if he/she thinks you aren't being serious about work or it's innapropriate.

You should ask her why she's upset with you and if she claims she's not then ask her why she doesn't talk to you, or does the things she's doing and think about something that you may have done to upset her and try to make up for it.

I am on a diet and I exercise and eat healthy. I walk 2 miles a day and I do cardio once a day. I lost 23 pounds just doing that. Is that weird? Or is the 23 pounds water weight? (link)

I don't think so, I think that's really good but just to be safe do some research and see if you have symptoms for anything it's most likely just a really great workout! :3 I doubt it's water weight...
