Most guys prefer a clean cut, but it's all up to them and their preferences. I reccommend buying a brand new razor to avoid any razor burn and it should clean it up very nice. It's actually easier to maintain without a "fro down low". Not only that but you're at less risk for getting crabs aka lice if you mess around with the wrong person. Good Luck!

I do not reccommend doing it at home as it can cause serious irritation. Especially if you have sensitive skin. If you really want to do it, there are waxes at any grocery store. In order for a good wax though you will have to grow out your hair for at least a month or two. If you're having razorr burn problems or want a really clean shave, I reccommend buying a brand new razor and new shaving cream (skintamate works the best). Replace your razor every 2-4 weeks and you will always have a nice clean shave. Good Luck!

I'm stressing out and have been google-ing everything remotely related to birth control pills and pregnancy. Please help put my mind at ease! Here's my story: I'm 17 years old and have been on yaz birth control for 5 months. At the beginning of my last pack, I forgot to run to the pharmacy to pick it up. So I didn't start my pack until the next day. 2 weeks later I missed a pill and took it as soon as I remembered the next day. Then I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend.. But he pulled out .. Idk if that matters. Anyways the past week I've been having brown discharge and I'm not due for my period for another 3 days. What are the chances that I'm pregnant? Thanks in advance.. (link)

The brown discharge could possibly be from a yeast infection, however I could be wrong. There are only a certain time period out of the month when a woman is fertile - meaning you can't get pregnant on just any day of the week. There's a website that calculates the exact days you are fertile: www.babycenter.com/ovulation-calculator. If you have been on BC for 5 months, I highly doubt you are able to produce proper hormones as birth control puts fake hormones in your body and it usually takes about 3 months to gain back the real hormones once you stop BC. Honestly, I wouldn't be too worried. I know every girl gets scared almost every month when sexually active - but if you truely believe you're pregnant and you're not you can actually develop symptoms of pregnancy which could also be why you're having brown discharge. Have you ever heard the phrase, "it's not the size, it's how you use it"? Well it's true. However him lacking confidence is also a main factor. Try boosting his self-esteem with new sex positions that you brought on. You can be in control and your boyfriend will think it's sexy. I'm not sure which positions you do now but there's always:

Doggy style
There's also a position I'm not familiar with the name but its where you both are laying on your sides (you in front and him behind you) and you do it like that.

So I'm assuming your head is telling you not to because he's a 'bad' guy but your heart is telling you to go for it because despite the 'bad' things you still have a lot of feelings for this guy. There is a chance you could be pregnant. However you would not get symptoms until about 6 weeks later. Try taking a pregnancy test 5 days after your missed period and it should give you an acurate answer. Also, you can only get pregnant on certain days of the month. The days you ovulate are the days you can get pregnant and there are ovulation calculators to figure out which days those are. If you are having unprotected sex, may I reccommend birth control?

For the last few months, I've had this ricidulous urge to become pregnant (I'm only 16). At first I thought it was a phase but lately all I think about is how wonderful it would be to have a child. I understand how insane this is; I don't have a job, I haven't even finished high school yet and I'm certainly not ready for a baby.
I started birth control 3 months ago and take it religiously but one night I had sex with my boyfriend and for some reason he was freaked out that I would get pregnant. All I could think about was how happy I would be if I was.
I've also had a few dreams about being pregnant and having miscarriages (over the past 6 months-not consistently)
This doesn't seem normal to me and I want these thoughts to stop. I would never do anything intentional to get pregnant so thats not the issue, trying to find a way to stop this crazy idea is what's bothering me. I don't want to be pregnant because of Jamie Lynn Spears or because I'm trying keep my boyfriend around (we have a healthy relationship). Is it a possibility that it could just be hormones and I will get out of this phase? :/ Thanks. (link)

Yes, it is just a phase. Not all girls go through it but some do. Once you start getting a little older and you start to see you friends with babies, you'll realize how much you want to wait until after college. I'm not saying babies aren't wonderful because they are but once you have a child you lose 100% of your freedom. You are entitled to dedicate your entire life to this baby. Not only that but if you're only 16 with no job - do you really want this baby to grow up with not having much in it's life? Don't you want to be able to buy he or she whatever you can? Spoil them? Love them? How would you supply food, diapers, clothing. Babies are not cheap. (about a $1000 a month) There's no rush in life so please, enjoy your teen years while you still can because it goes by so fast. I remember my 16th birthday like it was yesterday - and now I'm about to turn 20. Life goes by fast, don't take these years for granted. Good Luck!

I got my ears pierced about a year ago and that was the 3rd or 4th time they've been pierced. They're now only about halfway closed. I don't want to waste the money getting them done again. So I was wondering how I could do it myself. And on a scale of one to ten(1 being like pinching your ear the hardest you can. 10 being the worst pain you could imagine) I don't have the highest pain tolerance in the world. But its not the lowest either. The last time I got them pierced w/ a gun I shed one tear (although this time I'm doing it with a needle) and that was a year ago. I could probably stand a 2 or 3. I have 11 piercings and I'd say half of them were done by myself. Use the earing they pierced your ear with (it has a pointy end) and shove it back through. I don't have a tolerence for pain at ALL but this did not hurt me. On a scale of 1-10, I'd say it was a 2 or 3. Good Luck!

Guys were born with a LOT of testosterone and hormones that exceed our limit. Most guys kind it comforting to just sleep around and be perfectly comfortable doing it without starting a relationship. It's in their mentality and a lot of guys don't know any better. If you don't want to get hurt - stay in a relationship and get to truely know the guy before you sleep with him so you're not getting used by all of the other helpless victims out there. Good Luck!

I've had this bestfriend for about a year now, and a few months ago i started feeling stronger for him. I think its beginning to feel like i want him more than just a friend. Like i said, we're best friends so i'm scared telling him would ruin it. For now, I would stay his friend. It's the best thing you can do for him right now especially since he has a girlfriend. It would probablly ruin the friendship between you two because his girlfriend would most likely get jealous and tell him to stay away from you which you do not want. Having your menstral cycle every 26 days sounds very normal. There shouldn't be any problem in becomming pregnant but if you are trying, I would talk to your doctor who can run tests and tell you the days you ovulate. Also there are ovulation calculators online which tells you which days out of the month you should be 'trying' really hard. Here's the link:

Never ever EVER wait for a guy. He's blowing his chance by not taking action and quite frankly, you are better than that. Honestly you should just move on and show him what he missed out on.
